Fury of the Ancient Gods
Just when you thought it was safe to go to hell. Jon was successful at forcibly resurrecting the most evil and treacherous Ancient God from hell, Jéfnoss tra-Fundly. Now, in possession of EJ's powerful android body, the former Cleinoid leader is freed to crush, kill, and destroy in his former kingdom. But, talk about grabbing the tiger by the tail. Can Jon resist, let alone control such an epic force of evil? The Cleinoids themselves were barely able to. Can the benefit possibly justify the risk?
Vorc, the current, ineffective Cleinoid leader, fumbles to maintain a society spiraling out of control. If he were any more inept, he'd do himself and his people in, singlehandedly. It's like the Ancient Gods want to die as a race. Or, is it, perhaps, Fate? Is that primordial force turning its favor to one Jon Ryan? If so, why in the multiverse would Fate do that? Any port in a storm is said to be welcome. Fate, all-powerful and ever capricious, may not be such a safe harbor.
From the mist of confusion, hate, and destruction, comes a new force—the historically indomitable Stone Witches. A swarm of Cleinoids unwittingly angers the witches. Will Fate decree that the Stone Witches aid Jon and his crew? Or might they just be the wild card at end the game for our heroes and their universe? If too many cooks spoil the soup, surely too many uber-powerful gods do, also. If a person wasn't Jon Ryan, they start sweating—buckets full of big time!

Have I left anything important to me out? Just one, the most important: God. I'm an ex-Catholic wondering if churches are device of men and are necessary at all. More importantly, I wish I spent more time seeing His wonder in the world (I'm not evangelizing, just passing along info; this is a bio, n'est pas?). Oh, and this has never come up, but there used to be a series of magazine ads where sexy looking people were asked a series of questions about what they liked. A standard query was: "What's your favorite word?" So, this really stuck with me (I know, I need to get out more, don't I) and now I can tell someone, you, my favorite word. Oneself! I love it. It means 'on your own' right, but it also refers to the elf you own! Brilliant word. Now, where'd I put that elf.......

Entertaining, but needs an edit pass
I’ve read all of the books in the Ryanverse up until now, and have enjoyed them tremendously. The story in this one is good, but the numerous, repeated editorial mistakes in the last half of this book felt simply unprofessional. It was very distracting, and took me out of the story. Sloppy.

Defiantly rushed and full of typos, but a fun story.
After reading do many books in the three series you will finish it for the sake of finishing it. Three star book in a 4 star series.

Jon and the crew work together with the king of demons which was banished to hell to take down the ancient gods once and for all.
