A... ten konec!
Third time is a charm...or is it a curse this time?
More supernatural things happen showing spirits and humans can be just terrible as we wrap up this simplistically narrated tale of the thin line between the land of the dead and the living. One common thread (and honestly some of the best parts) of the series deals with Seiya who has been shown as a guide of the underworld even though he appears to be alive to my surprise considering he can move between both realms like any of the sprits in the various stories. He is given power to supposedly choose who should live or die even though he knows he is still fairly powerless in the long run until his final act saves lives as he banishes "innocent" spirits who were planning on murdering humans who dared to travel through their sacred grounds (see recommissioned railway line.)
As the end of the series there is a bit of a QA session at the end of the volume and some color pictures at the beginning showing cover art for the other volumes probably to fill the gap on what was probably a cancelled series though I am not sure myself nor really care to look into it myself. Of course with a final boss fight you need appropriately scary foes as we get to see the writhing masses of spectral forms casting off any vestiges of humanity for horrific monsters which I actually rather enjoyed some of the creativity of them. Not a bad series but sometimes while I was reading it I had to stop to ask "Really?" at certain points due to convenient plot points that finished many of the short stories in a more or less happy ending. In the end I am glad I borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited rather than pay for it or I would not have bothered reading all the way to the end of this obvious classic. :)
Ty ilustrace i příběh byly úchvatně propracované. ;D
