Go Nitro: To Stand Divided

Rate this book
Three years after their encounter with the Blades, the Nitros have broken apart and disbanded their team. Dante is now the face of justice in Lattice Light, while Nick tirelessly continues his pursuit of Sengre Malcolf, his family's killer. However, when a faceless thief begins a crime spree stealing dangerous technology, the Nitros find themselves teaming up once again to bring him down. With each passing day, this Mask appears to be further and further ahead of the Nitros, outsmarting and outpacing them in every way. Between the Nitros dysfunctionality, Steven's dark new habits, and Nick's degenerating Otrolium poisoning, can they possibly hope to stop a man who appears to have already won?

I'm going to keep this short because I could talk about this book for eons.
I loved it, I love the characters (main and side), and I love the world being created and expanded.
The mystery of Mask was a good one, though it perhaps seems obvious now that I've finished the book (which only means rereading will be a lot of fun because of all the details I can pick up).
Also, this book felt like a such a Dante book and I love that because I love him. Of course, we get the other Nitros and what they're going through, but I had felt as though the first book didn't deal with much of Dante in regards to him having an enemy or any major development (like dealing with revenge for many of the Nitros in book 1). Steven was also amazing in this book, him and Dante at the end was just *chef's kiss*
I am very excited to see what Jeremy does next!

The book is very thrilling and I love how the characters (main and side) have really good character development through the chapters. I love how the team gets along and I personally think its funny and entertaining for all ages. Although this book is fiction I believe that I was able to connect with the characters from every aspect and down moments that they had especially with Dante. For me, the mask was the most interesting part of the book due to the fact that it was really smart, quick on its feet, and ahead of everyone in the book.

Well the bad guy was predictable...but honestly still enjoyed reading it. The writing felt way more fluid and you can tell there was some improvement from the first book. I highly recommend this book to others.

I just recently finished this book and the first in the series back to back. I would suggest reading them as such. And I’m a fan of Jeremy Dooley at Achievement Hunter, so I was excited to read the books.

Pros:
The way the team functions and how they get along was my favorite part of the books. They felt real and since they’re based on real people it makes sense they feel more fleshed out.
Each character feels different enough for the audience to care about them. But, not too different that they don’t mesh together. Whenever there is a team up, it makes you excited to turn the page. I also found that there were a few twists that had me guessing.
Cons:
At times I was frustrated with the dialogue. As we could be told exposition more than once.
The story can also be quite predictable, although I find it hard to see it is too much of a complaint.

Overall I was surprised by these books. I knew this was Jeremy’s first outing as an author and from what I’ve seen he gets better with every book. I can’t wait to read the third one.
