'CREW PRINCESS' is the second book in Tijan's 'Crew' series. It picks up where the first book Crew left off. It is wise and recommended that you do read Crew before diving into this one.
Welcome back to Bren Monroe's world, she's Crew Princess and has her boys which stand right beside her, they make up part of the Wolf Crew which consist of Cross, Jordan and Zellman.
They are very protective and loyal towards each other and will tear shreds out of anyone who comes at them. Bren is also Channing's little sister who we've met in earlier books, he's the founder of one of the very first gangs in their township.
Things are brewing away in the background as Rousso has had to take in new pupils from surrounding schools, making tensions high as other gangs are starting to take shape like the 'Ryerson Crew, and the 'Frisco crew' which had popped up out of nowhere last semester, which has got them all on tenterhooks. Bren is still on probation due to her knife welding tendencies, cut first regret it later and has been in therapy as part of her probation requirements instead of facing time in juvie.
Worrying times are ahead of them. With graduation fast approaching Bren is worried about what the future holds. Where does that leave the Crew? Bren's known for a while that College isn't for her but where does that leave her and Cross? He's the love of her life, her best friend since seventh grade, her soul mate, the guy that she'd do anything for. Will they all disband and go their separate ways?

The narration was great. Most of the book was told from Bren’s POV, but this Narrator Therese Plummer, is good at doing teenage male voices as well as the female voice. Then when the male narrator finally started, I liked him as Cross. He has a nice deep voice and his inflection was perfect for a guy like cross. A tough guy who grew up in Roussou.
The story was just as good as the first book. This time the Wolf Crew had different enemies to fight than in the first book as well as different family drama. I had read the book Rich Prick in the past. That one is technically after this one in the timeline, but it was nice to see the crossover in this one. Also we got to see the Kade’s in this book so there was a lot of Fallen Crest crossover as well. I just love how everything fits together so nicely.

Let me start off by saying that Crew Princess is the second book in the "Crew" series and it can not be read as a stand-alone. You will need to start with the first book "Crew". No worries though...it's really good ;)
This one starts off where the last book left us and I have to say...I liked this book a smidge better than the first. Bren is still in her Wolf Crew with Cross, Zellman and Jordan. They are still very much feared in school...but...things are slowly changing.
For the first time ever...Bren is having friends....friends that are not Crew and it is slowly freaking her out. Not only does she have to deal with all these "normal" things happening...but new enemies are about to embark on their territory, making for a very tense situation.
Thankfully Cross is a rock she can always lean on, even though she is a tough chick herself...even tough chicks need a break :P
Cross and Bren's relationship is only growing deeper and the big question is...what will happen after high school.
With so many unknowns and insecurities.... not to mention old enemies and new ones...things are bound to blow up !!
I enjoyed the first book, but I loved this one a tad bit more. Could be because of the delicious cameos in this one ;) Makes me want to do a whole "Fallen Crest High" re-read !!!

We’re back with the Wolf Crew- Bren, Cross, Jordan and Zellman with Crew Princess. This one had a lot going on but I was into it more than the first. An addicting read, and now that high school is over, I can’t wait to see how the third book concludes.

Crew Princess is the second book in the Crew series that follows the story of Bren and her group, starting exactly where the first book left off, so I highly recommend reading the first book in the series. And I liked this book, but not as much as the first one.
It took me a long time to connect with the story finding it a bit dull, but once she got the rhythm the reading improved for me. The point here is that I think this book has served a lot more as a preparation for what's to come in the next book, so I found this book a little slower than the last, even though it has some twists and turns along the Way.
One thing I really enjoyed here was how Tijan developed the relationship between Bren and Crow, the interactions between them made this book count for me along with the moments of all the group together.
This book ended with a Clifhanger who left me wanting the next book to see what will happen to these characters and get some answers along the way.

Loved this! While I liked Bren, Cross and the crew in the first book I thought they were awesome in this one. I really like where this series is going and can't wait for the next one.

AHHH. Crew Princess was absolutely AH-MAZING. it was sexy and emotional and an all around adrenaline rush. I seriously can't get enough of the the Wolf Pack crew. The more I get of Bren, Cross and her crew the more I need!! This story was pure FIRE!
Without giving away any spoilers, it is so important that you read Crew before reading this book. I would also make it a point to read Channing and Heather's book as well as they are both huge characters in this installment. Tijan did it again with Crew Princess as this story was just an unbelievable addition to the series. It was sexy, emotional, riveting and full of the drama that we love. And omg the secrets and revelations knocked me flat out! I was consumed from the beginning and never wanted this story to end! How amazing! 5 brilliant stars! ~Ratula

This world is addicting. Usually I say I don't like a lot of drama in my books but this author knows how to add the right kind of drama that has me enthralled. I love Bren, I love Cross and I love getting to see Channing and Heather. Bren is fascinating and the biggest draw to the Crew series. This will for sure be a favorite re-read of mine.

Oh. My. God. I feel like I’ve been waiting for forever to read this book. I was so absorbed in book one that as soon as I finish I had a need for book two and after waiting it’s FINALLY here, I got the fix I very much needed. Wow.

These characters really brought all the feels into this book.
Bren is in doubt about her future throughout this book. All she knows and wants to think about is her crew but worry creeps into her mind a lot. She’s still as badass and awesome as she was in crew and I still love her.
Cross, oh man. This guy goes through a lot in this book. Some unexpected twists turn his life upside down and we see him trying to deal and cope with the events but it’s hard. He’s hotheaded and angry a lot and it was interesting to see what goes down with him.
The whole plot was incredible, I sure as hell didn’t expect the turns it takes and the twists thrown upon us and that ending, WTF??? Just gah, I can’t wait for book three.
Also big shout out to the main crew, The Wolf Crew. Bren, Cross, Zellerman and Jordan. This book wouldn’t be the same without the whole crew.
Tijan is the kind of author that makes you become addicted to her books, as soon as you’ve picked up the first book, you just won’t be able to get enough. I’ve been reading her books for a while now and each and every one seem to get better and better and Crew Princess is no exception. Oh, man… Tijan surely knows how to lure her readers! Crew Princess was action-packed rollercoaster of emotions and I still want more. This story was full of twists and turns and unexpected developments. But although the danger is constantly in the air, we feel secure, because the friendship, loyalty and allegiance between the characters is unbreakable and stronger than ever.
Crew Princess starts where the Crew ended. Bren is on probation after the events that took place in previous book. With approaching graduation she worries what it means for her and her friends. But aside of that, the tension and rivalry between crews is growing and her squad needs to protect what’s theirs. A lot of changes is coming, and not only these concerning crew life.
Tijan filled this story with so much suspense, that I was constantly on the edge of the seat. I was piecing everything along with Bren and the shifts in story made me sitting with mouth agape. I loved seeing Bren’s calmer, more vulnerable side, even when she was still the same fierce and fearless girl we got to know. I adored Cross, his alpha vibe and devotion to his girl. I’m really happy that this book bared a little more of him. I only wish that we could have more romance between him and Bren. Cherry on top? Cameos of our favorite characters from Fallen Crest series! Oh, how I missed them!
Crew Princess is an excellent installment in this series and I can’t wait for more. I’m super excited to get to know how everything will play out.

Stunning and Beautiful.
Crew Princess could not have been written better. Tijan created another stellar storyline. I'm not going to dive into details you have to buy the book this time.
If you have read Tijan books then you know what I'm talking about. If you have not read anything by Tijan then this is not the book to start with.

Once again, Tijan made me fall in love with not only one but several of her characters.
I've had a crush on Cross since Crew - don't judge me, he's really wonderful - and in this book my crush has only grown, because even going through so many twists in his family life, he's always there for Bren and the Crew, and that's unchanging and completely owned by him.
I loved seeing how Bren evolved after the events of Crew, and how she managed to dealt with her emotions and boundaries. She really made an effort to become a better person, and it was wonderful to keep up with that growth. Don't get me wrong... She's still that badass Crew member, and she's up to everything to protect her beloveds.
She's really badass...
She's strong even if it's scares her.
She's fearless even if it's a terrifying situation.
She's always thinking, and caring, even if she's said she's not.
She's just a kid that learn how to survive by herself, and now has a good support group of friends.
At various times I had to take a deep breath to hold back the tears. It was a good emotional roller coaster.
Heather and Channing are so so so family goals, that even I want them to myself. The moments of the connection between Bren and Heather, and Bren and Channing just melt my heart!
I love them so much!
All the action in the book goes around family conflicts and the exploration of rivalry between cities. It was a well constructed context and it made perfect sense to me, I really didn't see it coming and I loved reading it.
Bonus points for various Fallen Crest's guest appearances. I missed them all and it was great to see the groups mixing together.

HOLY HELL!!
TIJAN HAS DONE IT ONCE AGAIN!!!
I, once again, found myself locked in my bathroom, while having company, just to devour as many words as I possibly could!! I can't seem to get enough of the worlds Tijan creates!
Crew Princess is the second book in the crew series. If you haven't read the first book, Crew, I highly recommend you read that one before diving into this one. You won't be sorry!
About Crew Princess:
The Crew system in Roussou is still intact, but there’s someone out there that wants the crews to disband and disappear and their willing to use great lengths to do so, meaning more trouble for Bren, Cross, Zellman, and Jordan to get into.
But Bren has the most to risk, including her freedom, due to her parole. So with that in mind, Bren realizes it’s time for her to change her ways. This story is all about Bren breaking away from the anger and recklessness to find a little bit of peace.
My Thoughts:
I'm not going to say much more about the novel in fears of spoiling you all. Let's just say, Crew Princess is full of unbelievable twists and many more turns!!!
Crew Princess was a great addition to the Crew series. In this novel we get a deeper and more emotional vibe from Bren and her crew. There's also a sense of impending doom that had me questioning every single step the crew took. I feared for them, not only as solos but as a group. I feared most for their friendship.
Bren shows a softer side in Crew Princess, but I guess being on parole and having to look over your shoulder every five seconds will do that to a person. I really enjoyed this more controlled side to Bren, with this came a more vulnerable Bren...and if you read Crew, you probably already Bren views vulnerability as her greatest weakness. It was interesting to see her approach this new rising emotion.
Cross is just as sexy as he was in Crew, if not sexier. His alpha side definitely stands more pronounced within the pages of this novel. He's now stepping up and acting as the leader.
Overall, Crew Princess was just as kick ass as I expected it to be!!! I can't wait for 2020 to get here! I have so many questions I need answers too, especially given that freakin' cliffhanger!!! Seriously!!! I can't wait!!!!!

I’ve been on a huge reading binge this week. Mostly because I have reviews due but I’m so happy it worked out this way. I was in a huge reading slump that I couldn’t get out of no matter how hard I tried. Nothing was working until I read a children’s book. Yes childrens. Lol It opened me up to finally pick up the books I didn’t feel like reading and I’m so happy I did.
This book made me see myself and Bren in a different light. I’m a lot like Bren. I shut down emotionally. I have this huge wall that no one can penetrate. I also hide my true self afraid that if I let me out that I would get hurt or even worse not being accepted. I have that same fire too. Seeing how strong she was and how she didn’t hold anything back made me feel courage that I haven’t had in a long time.
I know this review isn’t supposed to be about my life. It’s what this book has done to me emotionally and spiritually. Spiritually you ask? Yes. I know it’s a strange word to use to describe this book. Bren’s heart opened my heart. Her words broke into that wall I have built up. I had a conversation with my husband that’s been a long time coming and I felt free. It’s strange to say that a book character opened my eyes up but she did. Her and Tijan.
Every book I’ve read by Tijan I have loved. As of this morning Ryan’s Bed was my fave but now Crew Princess is. It’s funny how you can connect to a character so strong that she changes your life and open your eyes. That’s what Tijan’s words do to me. Crew Princess has helped soothe my wounds and open me up in a way I haven’t been in a very long time.
I will recommend this whole series to everyone I know and don’t know. This book will stick with me and I’ll always hear Cross’s words to Bren in my mind.
”What are you talking about? I am changing.” “No.” He stopped me, suddenly serious. “You’re just removing some baggage, and the real you is coming out. You’re brighter, shinier, and you’re starting to glow, but you’re still Bren.”
This book made me see myself and Bren in a different light. I’m a lot like Bren. I shut down emotionally. I have this huge wall that no one can penetrate. I also hide my true self afraid that if I let me out that I would get hurt or even worse not being accepted. I have that same fire too. Seeing how strong she was and how she didn’t hold anything back made me feel courage that I haven’t had in a long time.
I know this review isn’t supposed to be about my life. It’s what this book has done to me emotionally and spiritually. Spiritually you ask? Yes. I know it’s a strange word to use to describe this book. Bren’s heart opened my heart. Her words broke into that wall I have built up. I had a conversation with my husband that’s been a long time coming and I felt free. It’s strange to say that a book character opened my eyes up but she did. Her and Tijan.

Crew princess is book 2 in the Crew series and needs to be read in order to understand what is going on.
My love for the Wolf Crew has just expanded even more, if that’s even possible.
I will be honest and say I struggled with the first half of the book, it dragged a little for me which isn’t something I normally have with Tijan books.
A lot of things started to make sense though as I started reading the second half of the book and then I just couldn’t put it down.
My man Cross was just as alpha in this book as he was the last and I love him. Bren was just as kick ass as she was in the Crew, although she’s trying to calm down a lot and tame the beast inside of her.
As expected there is lots of action and twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat with Crew Princess. The character growth was amazing.
If you are a fan of the wolf crew or Tijan then you should definitely read Crew Princess and watch the characters stumble and grow together.

I'm so thrilled to receive my first ARC book by Tijan. I've been reading her for years and her writing never fails to blow me away. I admire her so much and Crew Princess was definitely one of the most anticipated books for me this year! After reading 'Crew' I was off my seat waiting to see what Tijan will deliver next and let me tell you that she delivered it RIGHT.
This book picks up from the 1st book "Crew" in the series. Although I loved the first book, the second one was even better! I was so intrigued throughout the whole book and in absolute wonder. Bren, Cross, Jordon and Zellman are still their deadly best! The perfect crew ready to tear down anyone who comes from them. Their protective and loyal towards each other.
"We were the Wolf Crew, the smallest crew in the Roussou crew system, but also the most dangerous one."
The Crew is on an rocky edge as graduation is approaching and Bren worries if they will still stay together because she's confused of not knowing what life will bring next. On top of that the tension is high as different Crews from other places are trying to set their mark and take over. Bren along with the rest of Crew is determined to keep their territory in place. The book also deals with Cross's family breaking but the Crew remains strong and are better than they could ever be.
The plot completely blew me away but had me hooked at the same time, and yet again Tijan exceeds with her brilliant writing!
Bren for me is one of Tijan's most strongest and special heroine, I completely love everything about her, including her dark side. Her relationship with Cross is so beautiful, their unbreakable and so inlove with one another. Jordon and Zellman are at their best all the time, along with that we also get to see many other side characters in the book, all have something special about them which was very tantalizing to read!
"This is what we did, our crew. One of us needed something, and we were there."
I completely enjoyed this AMAZING book filled with emotions, strong friendships and shock alerts. It had me hooked since the first chapter and I cannot to see what Tijan brings next!

Simply the best!
I always get a thrill when I hear that Tijan is releasing a new book and this was no different. Tijan brings Bren, Cross, Channing, Heather and the rest of the gang back in this installment of Crew. Fights break out, secrets are spilled, love is made, ideas are created, decisions have to be made and all before graduation.
This was an amazing read that only took me a day really to read because I couldn’t put it down. I’m excited for Crew 3! My suggestion is that you read the Fallen Crest Series then Heather and Channing’s story then read Crew. You won’t regret it!

WOW! I didn't realize how much I missed the "Crew-books" till I read this one 🤩
OMG! this book was so unbelievable ridiculous good and extremely exciting 😍.
The rough emotions that are playing in this book let you hold your breath for the most part of this story. It's amazing to see Brens transformation from a teen to a woman. I love her thoughts and feelings. She is as stubborn as usual and of course fights against the world and her feelings most of the time, but she is also growing up into a really amazing and beautiful woman.
Her relationship with Cross is so beautiful and peaceful, you have to love them both 😍
They are really the soul mates, who don't can be separated.
This whole book is a constant rollercoaster of emotions, feelings and unexpected actions.
So many lies and secrets that were following the Crew, were discovered and solved, but the concern for the future remains.
But that will be disclosed in the next part. I hope it will, because this book ends with a very disturbing scene 😳

I loved being back in the world of The Crews and all that entails ! Picking up from exactly where we left on in Crew !
Crew Princess isn’t shy about getting your feelings all twisted up and comes back with a punch !
Cross and Bren, Z and Jordan and all the people that are part of their world make this read feel part of you. I love that we are in the same world as FCH and cross over characters are spoken about and some even cameo !
Tijan doesn’t disappoint, I really enjoyed this read and am already chomping at the bit for part 3

Typical Tijan. She sucks you into this fantastical world—no, not fairies and dragons, but high schools that probably would never exists. And makes this 40 year old woman believe that she is there and these characters are her friends. Fallen Crest peeps make an appearance as well (❤️). Read the first and then devour the second.

Crew Princess is a good read. You must read Crew first before reading this one. It picks up where Crew left off. I was a little confused on some of the things happening in the beginning but when I got into it, I was hooked from beginning to end with this one. Bren, Cross, Jordon and Zellman are still tight but we see growth in the characters. There's a good story line with some twists. Overall this was a good read and I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
