Endlich Ferien!
I'm reading A2/B1-level books to improve my German, and this one fits well in terms of language difficulty. The audiobook narration is also clear and enjoyable. However, I found the story a little slow, and I didn’t connect with the characters at all.
Compared to books like Dino Learnt Deutsch, which follows a protagonist on an engaging, multi-city journey, this one is a shorter, less developed story. That might work better for learners who just want exposure to the language, but I personally prefer longer narratives with more depth.
Still, this book could be useful for those seeking simple, accessible German practice. If the author reads this, I’d love to see a longer series with more developed and likable characters!
