Dangerous Playground: The Christian and Social Media

Rate this book
Social media has connected us in ways we could not have imagined twenty years ago. Our devices make communication, advertising, navigation, learning, and entertainment easier than ever, but how are they changing society? Is it possible that we are rushing headlong into a new world without thinking very carefully about what it is doing to us? The Bible is several thousand years older than social media. Could it have anticipated the digital age, and, if so, does it tell us how to navigate it safely? The Bible may not speak about our technology, but it does have something to say about how we use it. This book takes a look at that advice with a view towards staying injury free as we interact with a dangerous playground.Dangerous Playground can be used in Bible classes or personal study. Each chapter ends with helpful discussion questions for class participation.

Great Book for parents, teachers, and teens

Must read! It handles this growing aspect of our lives well. As a parent this is a great resource. Great devotional or Bible study as well.

I would recommend teens read it as well! It puts it in their perspective while explaining how social media can be a dangerous playground.
