While Jane and her friends find enough trouble with the pistol, they discover they aren't the only ones after its secrets. Soon they're trapped between two warring factions over the fate of the relic and their very lives.

A fun read
This installment of the Fated Touch series was a lot of fun to read. The story moves along nicely.
The only gripe I have is the usage of one word-automata, which in the book is used as a singular noun, although the dictionary clearly indicates automata is one of the plural forms of automaton. Picky, I know.
I am looking forward to reading the fourth book.
