Welcome back to Aspen Cove, the town where neighbors and friends have more valued than money….
Social media darling Goldie Sutherland grew up in the limelight. As the daughter of an award-winning movie star, she learned early on how fickle fans can be. Her mother taught her that beauty opens far more doors than brains. When her star-power starts fading fast, she sets out to find a groom in a last-ditch effort to win back her dwindling fan base. Armed with nothing but a handful of cash and desperation, she rides into Aspen Cove searching for prince charming but ends up with a mountain man. Can her fake Mr. Wrong turn out to be Mr. Right?
Tilden Cool came to Aspen Cove to get answers. After finding his great-great-grandmother’s diary, he needs to uncover the truth about a long-ago murder that changed his ancestor’s lives forever. He discovers that clearing his family’s name is going to cost a lot more than he bargained for, so when a beautiful woman in a wedding dress offers him cash in exchange for a favor, he agrees. But as he gets to know Goldie Sutherland, he realizes no good deed goes unpunished.
They both have secrets. They both tell lies. Somewhere in between is love, but can they open themselves up to the truth in order to find it?
Kelly Collins is a bestselling, award-winning author of feel-good small-town romance filled with heart, heat, and happily-ever-afters. Her books are perfect for readers who crave heartwarming contemporary love stories, sassy heroines, and slow-burn romances with cinnamon roll heroes you’ll wish were real.
With humor, charm, and emotional depth, Kelly brings to life tight-knit towns, unforgettable characters, and the kind of love that feels like coming home. When she’s not plotting her next happily-ever-after, she’s sipping strong coffee and dreaming up heroes who are tough on the outside and gooey in the middle.
Come for the charm, stay for the swoon—and don’t be surprised if you fall in love with the whole town.
Handshakes were out of the question. Old man Tucker had running water, but Tilden wasn’t sure if he ever used it. Grasping hands was like asking for a dose of the plague.
Behind her back, everyone called Sage the little leprechaun, but to her face, they called her ma’am because she demanded respect, plus she basically ran the clinic, and she’d suggested things like tetanus shots and rectal exams for those who irritated her.
Don’t get me started on lingerie. I don’t know how girls wear thongs. It’s like flossing your ass. Not once but all day long. And those lacy bras, they chafe the hell out of my nips.
“You know how it is, finding a single woman in Aspen Cove is like finding a unicorn.” Tilden chuckled. “Be careful of this one. Her horn is sharp.”
I fooled everyone for so long that I started to believe my own lies. Can you believe that I had to look at my driver’s license to know how old I really was?
My Review:
I got my giggle-snort groove back with a quick, satisfying, and entertaining visit to Aspen Cove. Kelly Collins has never failed me so I knew I’d enjoy my stay as this was book number ten and I will confess to smirking my way through all of the nine previous installments. Keeping current with this odd little hamlet has become a necessity, as I can’t let any of their oddly compelling small-town antics get past me. I enjoy Ms. Collin’s engaging writing style as well as her clever wit, amusing insights, and snarky observations and descriptions. The storylines were easy to follow and pleasantly appealing while also relevant and topical.
With a new wrinkle for the series, the main characters in this story were not from the expected pool of quirky locals but were unique and original transplants to the area. They had met by chance but had instant chemistry and were well-matched in the art of trading quips and clever banter.
Goldie was a social media influencer living a shallow life until she had lost her sway and found herself out of options, money, friends, ideas, and luck. She arrived in town broke, homeless, and desperate with only a vague awareness of one person living in town who might be willing to help her. I enjoyed the subtle layering of her history and backstory.
Tilden was on a mission to research his ancestors and had kept to himself while doing so, making him a mysterious enigma to the small-town. For the last two years, he had been living in a one-room cabin without running water, think about that, no toilet, no sink to wash your hands, the shower was outside with a tank that required filling and water preheated. I might last for an afternoon, but after that, no can do… but I might consider it if the moonshine was up to speck.
I’m not really quite sure what to say about this book. It’s Aspen Cove, so it’s another one where I loved it so much, I’m at a loss for words. Tilden’s been this quiet enigma in the background of the series. It was eye-opening to see him step into the spotlight – kicking and screaming the entire way. Goldie became someone very different from the apparent media hog we first see. As she embraced the messages about being true to herself and also being true about herself, she was able to turn that mirror back on Tilden so that he could learn the lessons too. While Tilden and Goldie aren’t complete opposites, they certainly don’t start out having very much in common. But that just means they have more to learn about each other. I loved watching them banter, but sometimes their snark went to some hurtful places and my heart broke for them. I absolutely adored Tilden’s “Say Anything” kind of make-up moment. It was one of the funniest and sweetest scenes in the book. And now I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us with the next in this series. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
I really enjoyed this book. The emphasis in the book was to be real, who you truly are, not who you think people want you to be. I love how determined Goldie always is. I felt bad about how her mother brought her up, but it made her who she is. She had to hit bottom though before she could open her mind to another way of life. I loved how she met Tilden who is normally a quiet kind of guy. It was interesting how he came to live in Aspen Cove. There are secrets that Goldie and Tilden are holding, but they were both so good for each other. I couldn’t imagine living the way Tilden and Goldie did. I know it was a shock for Goldie, but she handled it like a champ. This is a great story, and I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Two wrongs make a right, at least in this case they do. Both Tilden and Goldie are hiding behind secrets that are destroying them from the inside out. Together, their influence on one another makes them better and stronger people, although at times it would appear that they overstep their boundaries. Having met Tilden in previous books in this series, he has always been a mystery man but is accepted by the community of Aspen Cover. He doesn't realise that the people of the small town are in fact more observant than he gave them credit for, as he finds they have perceived more about him than he knew. Goldie arrives in Aspen Cove as a last-ditch attempt at saving what's left of her life. Having been brought up by a shallow, self-indulgent mother, Goldie doesn't know how to live differently. With no other options left to her, she throws herself on Tilden's mercy and begs him to help her out. Life in the wilds is very different from living in the city and Goldie learns the hard way to adapt and change her perspective. There is humour and pathos, but it is the transformation of two people holding secrets that really kept my interest. Many of the characters from previous books in this series appear in this one too, however, the story is a standalone and comes to a successful and happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy and here is my honest review. Goldie who is a social media influencer who is very quickly losing followers. She asks a friend of hers to get married so people will start following her again, but the groom's girlfriend doesn't like the idea. Goldie is "left at the altar"so to speak and grabs the first male she sees and offers him money to kiss her for the cameras. Tilden who lives in Aspen Cove and likes to keep to himself is the man she grabs. After the kiss Goldie goes back home to see if it has worked. She is quickly thrown out of her apartment because she can't make the rent and somehow finds her way back to Aspen Cove. Once again she runs into Tilden and he offers her a bed in his house. They both have pasts in their lives that are hurting their future, can they help each other. This is another wonderful story set in Aspen Cove, what a great place it would be to live in, can't wait for the next adventure there. Thank you Kelly Collins for this great series.
I really enjoyed this story of Goldie the social influencer who has almost lost her influence and Tilden the secretive mountain man. Goldie's character was a very sad reflection on quite a lot of celebrities and reality TV stars and showed how shallow, false and short lived such fame is. Tilden also had his share of secrets and although they were quite different. I enjoyed the development of their relationship and all the brilliant supporting characters. Another excellent Aspen Cove book.

Funny and heartfelt, One Hundred Secrets is a sweet and poignant book. The story follows Goldie, a social media influencer and daughter of an actress who has built her life around appearances. She will wear any lipstick, wear any dress if it will get her more followers or sponsorships dollars. But at 32, she is considered over the hill and is losing followers faster than she can count. So she’s decided to get married - only her fake groom backs out at the last minute. Enter Tilden, the first single guy Goldie lays eyes on when she’s left groomless. He’s a quiet, reserved mountain man who avoids the spotlight, and while he doesn’t agree to marry Goldie, he does agree to take a picture so it looks like they did. When Goldie’s life seems to hit rock bottom, she seeks out the one man who showed her compassion, and she finds herself living in an EXTREMELY rustic cabin in the woods with the mysterious stranger she told the world she was married to.
The writing here is great, making the pages flow easily. Goldie is a little hard to love at first, but it’s easy to see that she’s been raised to be the way she is, and she’s not all rotten. Tilden has his own secrets, but he’s caring and compassionate, giving Goldie a place to stay even though he doesn’t have much himself. These two are total opposites, but they find plenty of commonalities along the way. It’s a slow burn as these two strangers get to know one another on a deeper level, but there are sparks along the way. My only complaint is the amount of time spent on the secret subplot involving Tilden’s family. It took some of the focus off of the romance and got a little too detailed. Overall, there is a lot to like about the story, which fits into a series but can definitely be read as a standalone.

One Hundred Secrets is another great book in the Aspen Cove Series by Kelly Collins. It centers on opposites, Goldie and Tilden. Both heartfelt and beautifully written, One Hundred Secrets is the perfect combination of sweetness, emotions, and charm all rolled up in the small-town life.
Tilden Cool has come to Aspen Cove to find the truth about his ancestry, but found something else with it. One Hundred Secrets was so good. I love this small town series every book gets better and better. The characters are so fun and easily likable. Tilden is a loner type mountain man and Goldie is a media socialite that can at times be annoying but still great! Digging to find the truth can unbury some secrets! I can’t wait to find out what happens in Abby’s book next!
One of my favorite series by Kelly. We have Goldie who is a social influencer and Tilden who is a rugged mountain man. Goldie comes into town riding the low train. Goldie is losing everything she worked for. Tilden is a man on a mission. They meet by luck and as luck would have it they meet again. Goldie just can’t get Tilden out of her head. Tilden is hiding secrets from everyone. He opens up to Goldie and she spills the beans in a moment of anger. Can they get past the things they both are hiding and show who they truly are? Can these two be meant to be together? You must read to find out. 1000000 stars
This is book 10 in the Aspen Cove romance series. Its starts of with Goldie arriving in Aspen Cove to get married. It’s not a true marriage it was a fake one to help her sagging on line life. Just before she got there her pretend husband to be told her he couldn’t do it. Goldie went into a diner and offered Tilden $500 to pretend to marry her he said no than she offered some money to him for some photos of him with her pretending. That was in the first few pages. Goldie went back home but things didn’t improve in fact she hit rock bottom. She ended back in Aspen Cove and asked Tilden could she stay with him. Well if you want to know his answer you are going to have to read the book. All I can say you will have one amazing journey reading this one. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
When you pick up and Aspen Cove book you know that it's going to bring a smile to your face and that is exactly what One Hundred Secrets did to me! Tilden has been mentioned throughout the series. He is the quiet bearded guy that is always in the background and no one knows much about him. Goldie finds herself in Aspen Cove planning a fake wedding to bring interest to her social media following but along the way, her fake groom has backed out. She's determined to fix things so she runs into the local diner and approaches the only single man her age and gives him a proposition. Tilden is shocked and amused by Goldie's proposition. He won't marry her but will take a picture with her. Thus begins the story of this accidental couple. What I liked best about this story is that it discusses the current obsession of peoples interest in social media coverage. In this story Goldie finds a valuable lesson in reality and Tilden also learns a lot about connecting with people and opening up. Their story is told in dual POV and stands alone however the series is so good as are the supporting characters that I recommend reading all of the books.
Goldie's life is spiraling out of control and hitting rock bottom is imminent, after a last ditch attempt to get back into the limelight she meets Tilden who is now her last hope. Tilden moved to town for his personal reasons he never shared with anyone and fell in love with the town and people, now Goldie is back and the fun beginnings for not just them and their attraction to each other but for all the town to see what happens. I just loved how not just Goldie but Tilden need to work out who they really are and be honest with everyone, be ready to laugh, cringe, want to slap and shake them both as well as hug them and hope that they can final be their true self and see they are worth it. This is another great addition to the series and I hope there are many more to come!!

Goldie and Tilden were complete opposites. She makes a living by having followers and promoting products while he keeps to himself and is antisocial. She gets caught up in a lie with him pretending to be married and when her world comes crashing down, he’s the one she goes running to. I’ve never aspired to the penthouse life that Goldie lived, but I wouldn’t last in a cabin in the woods without indoor plumbing. It’s too much like camping. I didn’t like Goldie at first and I thought her work was shallow and useless. But despite the front she shows others, she has self-worth issues, which I can relate to. I thought the investigation Tilden was doing into his family history was interesting, but if he hasn’t been so ashamed he could have had assistance from the people of Aspen Cove and uncovered information sooner. There were several funny, some scary like the run in with the wolf, and romantic moments in this story.
I went back to one of my favorite spots, Aspen Cove. Have you been there? Well, then you want to go back! This new book is an amazing story about life in the small mountain town and, in fact, in our daily lives today. Those whose lives are wild about cell phones, blogs, social media and everything electronic, will be fascinated about Goldie. Her life was all things Hollywood; until, disaster struck that changed everything. Along came Tilden and he too was a mystery to Aspen Cove. This story will make you smile, grip your chest with heartache and see reality about what is important. See, that is three things and this book will tell you all about the number three being important. Thanks so much for the early ARC as I loved every minute of the read. I highly recommend it!
I enjoyed reading it this book. I liked that it included someone who is a social media influencer. These days it can be hard to understand another’s need to be on their phone and posting everything all the time but we’re taught to try to understand where she might be coming from and to love her for it. I enjoyed the characters and the fact that they weren’t compatible but through discovering themselves they were able to know and love one another!

I love this series. Small town romance. Goldie needs a groom and Tilden is the first man she sees. He thinks she’s crazy but agrees to a photo. Months later she shows up back in Aspen Cove homeless and with no money. He agrees to let her stay with him. She’s quirky and fun. He’s looking for answers about his ancestors. Of course they fall in love.
I love visiting Aspen Cove, it's like visiting with family. Tilden and Goldie were such great characters to get to know, they were real - flaws and all. This story flowed well, was charming, full of life, honest, truthful, is it a secret, a withheld truth or a lie questions and had such wonderful connections between the main and supporting characters. I am really looking forward to reading the next in this series.

Goldie had been living a phony life, a video blogger, earning money by advertising products on her vlog. When she meets Tilden she has no idea it was going to be the best thing to ever happen to her. Aspen Cove is full of people from other places, but once they move to Aspen Cove their life just gets better and they happily call it home. This series is so entertaining you can't wait for the next book.
I just love to read about these lovely people living in Aspen Cove. I love the storyline and the characters. Will definitely read the next book in this series.

Goldie Sutherland is quickly realizing how fast one's popularity can disappear in Hollywood. Her mother was an actress and quickly pushed Goldie into the limelight to try and make some cash off her as well. Now Goldie will do whatever it takes to make ends meet and keep her name in the press, including getting married.
Tilden Cool moved to Aspen Grove after discovering some secrets in his great-great grandmother's diary. Now he needs to know if there is a murderer in his family's history. When he is offered money to pose for some pictures he gladly accepts it.
Unfortunately now Goldie has hit rock bottom and she has nowhere to go so she decides to return to Aspen Grove to ask the man who helped her out once before for another small favor.
Can Goldie and Tilden overcome their own pasts and lies to figure out their own futures?
This was such a great book filled with a few twists and turns to keep you wondering what was going to happen next!
I loved the character of Goldie and how flawed she was in her way of living. She truly hit rock bottom and it was almost refreshing as it makes Hollywood Stars more real and you could see a few of this generation of young Hollywood Stars having to resort to this. Yet she still managed to try and keep her head up as much as she could so no one could see her breakdown.
Tilden was much more mysterious as he was researching his family's history but really didn't want anyone to know what he was doing. When Goldie needed help he aided her and really went above and beyond for almost a complete stranger. I absolutely loved his cabin and how shocked Goldie was and I laughed so hard!!
There was so much chemistry between Goldie and Tilden right from the beginning and being in a small cabin was bound to lead to something happening between them. I liked how Tilden really helped Goldie get back on her feet and suggested how she could help herself.
I was proud of Goldie for calling Tilden out at one point for the similarites in their lives. I also really enjoyed the heartfelt conversation that Goldie had with her "followers" about getting real and how much honesty she had.
I loved what Tilden did for Goldie one night and how it truly proved how much he cared for Goldie.
The end was great with what Tilden learned and I loved how everything ended!
I was able to take a little vacay back to Aspen Cove to visit with some of my near and dear friends from past stories and get to see Tilden almost because the groom to some strange lady that rushed into the diner in a wedding dress. Tilden dont say to much. He is one of those folks that just likes to watch whats going on around him. That is until that same lady in the wedding dress comes back and some how worms her way into Tildens life. And maaaaaaan do things get really interesting.
One Hundred Secrets #10 – I love returning to Aspen Cove with Ms. Collins. She always has a well-written addition to this series bringing the reader back to meet the new and visit with the old. Interesting storylines and interesting, believable characters make a delightful night of reading. I have not read all of the series but I did not miss out from not having done so with any of the books I read. I did not care for the cattle comment, which I have always found ridiculous and politically motivated/influenced; with all the billions of men on the globe… (it is common knowledge that women do not fart), how do a few million cattle upset the applecart? I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 4*
Aspen Cove Series: One Hundred Excuses - This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it immensely. Well written with good storylines and characters that are likable and decent people. I didn't realize this is part of series because other people and previous history were mentioned in passing as if introduced in another book. BUT this did not diminish my enjoyment of this delightful, heartwarming story. I had fun with Mrs. Beasley (from Family Affair), I remember when she hit the store shelves in the late 60s. Now I want to read the rest of the stories. I did skip the sex scenes, for me the sexual tension is interesting and written sex is boring. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 5*
One Hundred Lifetimes #7 - Even though this is part of a series and I've only read one other book, this didn't take away from Lifetimes being a good story. There was a little too much bantering about sex, but I understood the reason and skipped those pages and the sex scenes; I was bored by them. The storylines are interesting. The characters were likable and decent people, and it was fun to see the characters from Excuses show up along with the other regulars. The journey that Poppy and Mark take is comical, intense, sad and worth reading. Life is too short to dally and wonder, go make it happen. I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 4*
One Hundred Goodbyes #9 – Another good book from the Aspen Series, my second, and it’s not sequential, but I still enjoyed reading Goodbyes. The well-written and interesting storylines combined with loveable and decent people make this a good read. The past books are just mentioned in passing, not spending a lot of time rehashing a previous book, which makes it nice to go back and read them without a lot of spoilers. We all know how the books end, it’s the journeys that make the books interesting. I contacted the author to review her books. 5* Aspen Cove Series end.
The dynamics of the three Mafia families are actually funny with the blending of the Irish, the Italian and the Russian mobs. There are no clear boundaries and this is the third set of mob kids given a chance at a love that's existed for years. An interesting romance with a substantial mystery and intelligent characters. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 5*
Betting On Him #1 - What a trip! I had so much fun reading this story filled with great characters and good storylines. The chemistry between he and she was great; there was explicit sex but I skipped that boring trash. Both had personalities that were bold and honest; plus some of the support characters were great in their roles, too. The story is fast paced, intriguing and had suspense, plenty of everything to the reader immersed in the pages. The violence isn't graphic. The romance and finding solutions is the focus. It's been decades since I've enjoyed a Mafia story along these lines, but I can recommend this entertaining yarn. 5*
Betting On Her #2 - Lucky for me I could chain read both books. BOHim left me riding a high, so it was only natural to continue the ride with BOHer. This book is just as entertaining as the first and there's actually a third book in the series, three Wilde brothers, but of course. There are the same great characters with a few new ones added to the mix. Good chemistry again, with explicit sex, which I skipped since I find written sex boring. This story is also fast paced, intriguing and humorous. The storylines are well thought out and there's a twist and kink here and there that will surprise some of the other characters, but makes the reader belly laugh. Again, hard to put down and don't expect an explicit violence, just romance and problem solving. 5*
Betting on Us #3 - Every book of this series has been interesting and intriguing. Don't expect a lot of Mafia activity graphic described, like with Puzo, but the human side and emotions. A romance between two people who grew up together but weren't allowed to take their childhood friendship further since they were from two different Mafia families. There's good suspense with a veterinarian being setup for drug crimes and the other being her lawyer. The intrigue, the emotions and sexual tensions are strong, but don't expect that stupid formula of constantly thinking of sex, either other's body parts and how everyone is hot and beautiful and acting stupid instead of professional.
Will the secrets between them keep these opposite personalities apart?
One Hundred Secrets is the tenth book in the Aspen Cove series. It can be read as a stand alone, but is richer if read in series order. On a last ditch effort to save her fans, and the money in her account, she takes a random picture with Tilden, faking a wedding. But as her world comes crashing around her, she can’t help but think of Tilden and his kindness. As she imposes herself on his life, learning a lot hard lessons along the ways, will the secrets between them keep these opposite personalities apart?
Oh my goodness! I adore the Aspen Cove series, this town is one that I’d love to live in, but for some reason, this book has sat on my TBR pile for far too long. Maybe social media Princess take or opposites attract or I don’t know, but I kept pushing it off. I can only say now that I loved this book! There was a lot of really great emotions and honesty, I became quickly caught up in the adventures that Goldie needed to face in order to survive, and I honestly did not want to put this book down. Goldie and Tilden were phenomenal together, definitely two sides of the same coin, and I loved how much they both grew into better people by being around each other. Goldie is a bit of a mess, but she tries so hard in this book to be better, to be honest, and to learn about who she’s supposed to be, not based on other people’s opinions. Tilden has plenty of his own secrets, and I liked that we got to see a whole different side of him in this book. I liked his growly side, but his playful side was a bit of a surprise (fun one), and his romantic side just about made me swoon! This book had a bit of everything, mystery, secrets, learning the price of pride, finding rock bottom and lifting yourself up, and above all, a romance to lighten your heart!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a wonderful story. Goldie Sutherland has spent her life in the public eye. She is the daughter of an actress and was thrust into the spotlight herself by her mother. She is now a "social influencer". Her ratings are dropping drastically. Her bank account is dwindling to next to nothing. She is forced to sell her possessions to get money for rent. Her publicist arranges a marriage of convenience to boost ratings. Unfortunately the groom backs out at the last minute. Goldie offers Tilden Cool five hundred dollars to marry her. Tilden is an extremely private person for a reason. He moved to Aspen Cove two years ago to discover the truth about his ancestors. He takes two hundred but for a picture only. The rest is romance history in Aspen Cove!
These two people are so vastly different and their journey of discovering themselves and each other is a delightful tale. How they come together is a charming read that I as a Baby Boomer who really doesn't follow social media couldn't put down. Getting into the characters' mind to see their thoughts really helped me to connect with them. Being from a different generation, I feel would have been difficult without the dual POV format that this book is written in.
There was one extremely small scene that may offend some readers but I really feel that the writer glossed over the "bedroom" scene in such a matter that it really left it to the reader imagination.
I can not believe this is book 10 of this series, as each book has entertained me and having me waiting for the next one. This book is about two very extremely different people that find their way together. It is amazing to see how Aspen Cove is growing into a wonderful town to live in.
Tilden Cool has been in Aspen cove for about two years and would have never guessed that he would still be here, as he is a city boy. A city boy that is very happy to be living in the country with no running water in his log cabin. He may have been in town for two years but the locals do not know much about this lumberjack looking man that keeps to himself.
Goldie Sutherland is on her way to Aspen Cove to get married when everything she planned when crashing down around her. This country town is very different from the Hollywood limelight she grew up in and the social media career she made for herself. But lately the glitter is not shinning so bright, she is almost broke and about to be evicted. Social media is turning it’s back on her, she is no longer the IT Girl.
At rock bottom, she finds herself back in Aspen Cove and to the stranger that was kind to her in the past.
Tilden does not know why he said yes to the damsel in distress. He was here to find out is families past not to find a woman.
Will opposites attack or will the lies keep them apart?
You can read this book as a stand-alone or as part of the series in any order. A small-town romance that I highly recommend.
A history nerd and a social media influencer does a romance blossom!
