I am telling you that I started reading yesterday afternoon and I did not want to put it down, but I knew I needed to get up early to go to work the next day and would be cranky if I didn't go to bed. lol Sooo just know you should start earlier in the day cuz ladies, you will not want to put it down once you start reading!!!

Smut University Volume 1 - Wow this is a fantastic novella from Kahlen. But be warned it leaves you wanting more, so much more.

This book will rock your erotic world. Imagine a teacher that was so hot that you wanted him fully. Jaxon Michaels is every aspiring writers dream. He is the author of many books. And so sexy.
Addison Tomms and her friend took his class. Addisons point of taking the class to get a authors opinion of her book she had started writing before the class ever started. But she has been ho humming about someone to read it. Instead she used part of it for an first assignment. Needless to say Jax was ....well overwhelmed from reading it. I can’t write anymore without spoilers. But this book was so descriptive and grabs you to not let go until you finish.
I’m giving this 5 stars. The characters were so rounded. They make you sink into the pages. The story line was perfect! Kahlen you grabbed me from the beginning.
Excellent work! I can’t wait for more of Jax and Addy!

Alright, I am going to say it.. The name of the book is what pulled me in. "Smut" Who doesn't like smut? Smut is what makes romance erotica what it is... So the name is what pulled me in first, then the blurb, then reading this? Wow... certainly was not what I was expecting. Sure it held SO MUCH heat, but the storyline was so much more.
It's about a college student that is taking a writing course called "The Art of Sex", it is being taught by a bestseller and a professor from heaven... Every woman in that class was smitten with him. Not only an amazing teacher, but he was heavenly to look at... they were captivated by every word that came out of that gorgeous mouth of his.
In Volume one we meet Addison, a student in his class. She is beautiful, talented, outgoing, smart and manages to impress the hot as hell professor on the first day of class, so much so that he wants to work one on one with her. While every other student is there for obvious reason... You know hot as hell professor that knows how to use his words to make women swoon, and squirm. Addy is serious about the course and wants to learn from him...
Jackson Michael is a New York Bestselling author that is now teaching a class at an Ivy League university... He's alpha as hell and can make any woman swoon and squirm. He is literally every romance book lovers dream man,... Well, he is mine... after Jax read some of his students work, it got him intrigued not only turned on by her but by the way she writes and those he is serious about teaching her, he wants more... These two had chemistry... It was made apparent the moment Jax laid eyes on her. The tension between the two was crackling and could be cut with a knife... It was pulsating and intense, It was kindle meltingly hot and I couldn't get enough. The desire and pull these two had was addictive, all-consuming and had me wanting more, then add in the forbidden feel to it, and it's pure perfection!
This isn't what I expected, but that isn't a bad thing. Sure it was beyond hot, but there was more to the plot than I expected,... I love where the author is taking us, and I am so smitten with these two and that freaking ending... I need more. Bring on Volume two!

Take me back to school! Smut University Volume 1 by Kahlen Aymes is a fast pace novella that leaves off on a tantalizing cliff hanger that will leave you gasping! Hot and dirty, Smut University is the perfect setting for the hot older professor and the younger college student that he wants to mentor. The story was actually very technical in how to write a sex scene with it being based around a college class called The Art of Sex Writing, but not in a boring way, it is one of those stories that you just must read to understand what I’m trying to say. A+ or 5-stars for Smut University.
Addison Tommes wants to be a writer so taking the class The Art of Sex in Writing seemed like a great elective to take since romance was the genre she was interested in. It also didn’t hurt that the professor was a top bestselling novelist and was off the top gorgeous. After the first assignment is given and Addison is asked to meet Dr. Michaels in his office she is terrified about her work since she didn’t have a grade. Jaxson Michaels knows talent when he reads it and Addison has it in spades, and no matter how wrong it might be he can’t get the beautiful student out of his head. Jaxson wants to help Addison with her novel and get her started on her career but how can the two work together writing intense love scenes without getting physical with each other?

Addison Tomms is majoring in Creative Writing at Columbia but wonders if she will be able to get anything done in class. All she can hear is… Professor this… Professor that… He is apparently so hot and woman flock to his class just to get a taste of him... I mean his “class”. They find it difficult to contain themselves around him… They were all to right…
Jaxon starts off…. Welcome to the Art of Sex…. In writing…. He wonders if there are actually anyone intelligent enough to make it through this semester… One student catches his eye but he has to focus on what lies ahead. Get everyone to interact! He issues out their first assignment and that is to write a basic SMUT scene of 500 words… in addition to create a sample scene of dirty sex… a total of 2500 words no less… Can Addy rise to the occasion... HELL YES!!! And then some… ;)
The scene is seductive… the scene is was not what he expected from a student on her first assignment… this is going to be interesting... He wants her… NO… he needs her… will she be his student in and out of class?
Excellent character and word build up. I love that there is a duel P.O.V. We get to experience the lust and the tension from both characters. The story is sassy and hot. A must read. I cannot wait for Part two… What will “HIS” lessons reveal?

I will preface this by saying Kahlen is one of my go to romance authors – her Remembrance Tribology hands down in my top five all time MUST READS (RYAN MATTHEWS IS MINE BTW)
So when I see this little gem, and one of my favorite topes (Student/Teacher) I am diving in head first. This is serial novella told in parts, Part One introduces us to Addison aspiring novelist and student at Columbia University. She is enrolled (and quite excited) in the wildly popular “Art of Sex – in Writing” class lead by none other than the SEXY Dr. Jaxson Michaels uber successful romance novelist (did I mention HOT AF) His books are extremely popular and are infamous for being O inducing and panty melting. The first interaction between Addy and Jax takes them both by surprise – their reaction is primal, their chemistry undeniable. Jax is beguiled by this intelligent talented young woman & has an overwhelming need to possess her. He wars with what he knows he can do for her on a professional level – he ca launch her career as a novelist. But this is in stark contrast to what he wants as a MAN. Addy is equally drawn to this gorgeous man, she admires him on a professional level and sees him as the perfect mentor. We meet Addy and Jax, as they begin a new term (Semester) at College in this first installment of mini series, meaning there will be a cliff hanger.
Addy is taking a creative writing course, as her interests very much lie withing the Book world, she's started penning her own novel and hoped that she would get creative criticism from an accomplished writer, who is also the Professor taking the lectures and class.
Addy had a nonchalant attitude until the Professor walked in..... She was desperate not to get caught up in the Sexy hot tutor, but chemistry just doesn't hold back. Their chemistry was off the charts, not only was Jax impressed with Addy's great intellectual mind, he was impressed with her body too.
They started off on the wrong foot, in my opinion, but Addy got straight to the heart of Jax with her assignment, she had him in the palm of her hands, or was it his?????
I think these two are going to be sizzling hot, but also very fun as we delve further into their 'affair', the ending was great, albeit a cliff hanger, but you can certainly see what might be coming in future installments, or then again you could get thrown a huge curve ball from Kahlen Aymes.

The premise for this story is unique and very entertaining: a course on how to write about sex! Can a budding romance writer take a chance on getting involved with her hotter than hot professor? A professor who is a famous romance writer, someone who could help her launch her own writing career, but getting involved could be messy. Addy is a good student, who follows the rules and lives a quiet life, could she risk stepping out of her comfort zone and living on the wild side for a change?
I loved the back and forth between Addy and Jaxon, their chemistry is white hot, and pulls you right in. The taboo-ness of their relationship only adds to the excitement and anticipation, the whole will they or won’t they build up is titillating. The text messages between two people who can write amazingly detailed love scenes are everything you would hope for, and such a pleasure to read! Every woman has had the “Hot for Teacher “ fantasy and this Novella delivers on that fantasy in spades. I only wish it were longer, it felt it was ending just as it was getting really good! Knowing that it will be a series helps to alleviate some of the disappointment from it ending too soon and will definitely make the reader tune in for more!

This is the first in a serial novella by, new to me author, Kahlen Aymes.
Jax Michaels is a best selling novelist teaching a college level creative writing class; a class that focuses on helping writers develop sex scenes in novels, making it, and him, highly sought after. He's never gotten involved with a student before but he's never encountered one as hot and intelligent, as Addison. After just one writing assignment, he realizes there is more to this girl than he anticipated.
This super short novella brings us the classic "hot for teacher" angle with a creative writing angle. Teacher/novelist Jax falls for Addison while reading her writing assignment and then seems desperate to both help her get published and get into her pants. She, like everyone else in the class, thinks he's insanely hot but she, at least, also values his mind. Chemistry is there from day one and now she must decide what she wants to do about it.
I personally do not care for serials as I feel they lack the character development it takes for readers to become invested in their HEA (that's a tall order in just 80 pages) but if you're looking for a super short, hot read, Smut University delivers on those angles.

Jax is very clear in his feelings, is alpha, but Addy struggles with her feelings. Where will the story lead us?
This is a short novella, which is very steamy. There will be 4 volumes to the story. I look forward to Volume 2, which releases in a few weeks.

I'm used to Kahlen's absolutely amazing writing. Im used to a long novel that owns my heart and soul. She still has my favorite book of all time. I am however, not used to a quick HOT AS HECK read. She did it like a boss. I love how she branched out there and tried something different, and absolutely slayed it.
This book had me looking over my shoulder making sure no one behind me saw the naughtiness I was reading. I really don't care,but I don't think my son would want to see that. Lol. I'm not going to detail anything because it would give away the story. Only thing I will say is put the hottest Male romance author who is also a professor of writing sex in stories and an aspiring romance student that is super talented.... enough to bring the mighty professor to his knees! I can't wait for more. What an amazing new series Kahlen has started.

OH MY EVER LOVIN SWEATIN IN SEXY HELL KAHLEN AYMES! This is the start of a novella serial about Addison Tomms, an aspiring writer, who finally decides to take Jaxon Michaels' class. She was leery at first, because all the girls were talking about how sexy he was, so she was standing on principle by not being sucked in, but once she was in attendance, she actually saw what they were talking about completely. They had chemistry, and her writing really moved, uh things, for Jaxon, so he wants to work with her one on one. And with that insane chemistry & title of the story, you already know you'll need a fan & a cool drink. It ends on a cliffy, so yeah, BRING ON VOLUME 2 ALREADY! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Where have I been, how is this the first time I’m reading this author. She writes with such passion! This book is a delicious play on for play. I felt like I was slowly romanced in the most beautifully seductive way. Excellent writing. Wow.
This book is so original don’t let the the title fool you. I thought I was going to read a quick erotic novella, but this is so much more. It’s so smooth and I was caught up immediately.
Addison is taking a college writing course, she is an aspiring romance author. This class is being taught by a hot male best selling author Jaxson Micheals. Let’s just say he thinks her writing is erotic and he wants to do more then read her assignments. That’s all I’m going to tell you. I can’t wait for the next installment.

This is part one in Kahlen Aymes' first serial novel. I am a huge fan of Ms. Aymes work and this does not disappoint. It has wonderful characters and a great story line. It is full of classic Aymes sexual tension and will definitely get you hot.
Personally, I am not a big fan of novella serials. I don't like getting seriously into a story and then get left hanging waiting for more. Normally, I prefer to wait for the story to be complete or at a good stopping point such as volume 1,2, or 3 of several other serials by other authors.
Ms. Aymes left you hanging in such a way you must read part 2. I hope she writes this next section quickly so we can continue the story. I want to see how this plays out.

About to date myself bigtime here . . . who remembers the old Carly Simon song “Anticipation”? Part of the Ms. Simon’s lyrics describe Smut University perfectly:

When I was thinkin' about how right tonight might be

Is keepin' me waitin'”
That’s me right now. Waitin’ for the next installment. Because holy moly, the anticipation, the expectation of just what will happen between Addison and Jax will keep me longing for a while. I love that their story is building from a class titled “The Art of Sex in Writing.” That there’s mutual interest, mutual longing, mutual desire. But there’s also mutual respect simmering too.

Can we just say how Hot 🔥 Jaxon is!!! Holy BeJeezus!! Kahlen wows me again with her incredibly talented words. This book went beyond my expectations and so much more. If you like Taboo with a Hot Teacher and Student combo, then this is right up your alley. This is the kind of book that will make you sit down to read and have intentions of putting it down but then those intentions fly out the window when you start reading and simply can't STOP!!
