Conquer. Control. Command. They have. They are. They will. They are the Wall Street Royals, men at the top of their game who are about to be mastered by the one thing they never counted love. Don’t miss the second book in the seductively sexy new series by New York Times bestselling author Tara Sue Me. Big Swinging Term used for the baddest badass on Wall Street. That guy. The one other men want to be and that women just want. Maggie Warren has always been unfocused. She hops from job to job, and relationship to relationship. Most of the time, she’s not even looking where she’s going. Which is exactly what happens when she runs into Isaac Gregory, trips over her feet, and dumps a year’s worth of compost all over his hand-stitched suit and one-of-a-kind leather shoes. Isaac’s never met anyone like Maggie. She’s nothing like the women he works with, or the submissives he typically dates. Sure, she’s got a knockout body and a wit to match, but she’s a free spirit and hopelessly scattered. He should not be attracted to her. But he is. After hearing she’s between jobs, he offers her his recently vacated Personal Assistant position. She readily agrees, but isn’t sure why he’d hire her. He’s her exact structured, organized, and controlled. Boy, does he like control. And it intrigues her, especially when she discovers his private life. Isaac’s not surprised when Maggie grows more and more interested in both of the worlds she sees him the public boardroom badass and the private well-respected Dominant. He tells her if she’s interested, he has a plan. A plan so hedonistic it could only be proposed by the man nicknamed the Big Swinging D. But even Wall Street isn’t prepared for the fallout when the king of control falls for the queen of chaos.

NEW YORK TIMES/USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR

Even though she graduated with a degree in science, Tara knew she’d never be happy doing anything other than writing. Specifically, writing love stories.

She started with a racy BDSM story and found she was not quite prepared for the unforeseen impact it would have. Nonetheless, she continued and The Submissive Series novels would go on to be both New York Times and USA Today Bestsellers. One of those, THE MASTER, was a 2017 RITA finalist for Best Erotic Romance.

Now she is focusing on new contemporary romances that allow her the freedom to write and publish on her own schedule.

Perfect intro to BDSM story!

I really enjoyed this book. I have read quite a few books in the past where the heroine first goes to a BDSM club or is interested in the lifestyle and she ends up in a situation that I feel uncomfortable with from the start (especially thinking from the POV of the heroine) but also just me as a reader.

However, this story has Maggie meeting Isaac and working as his assistant prior to finding out he is a Dom, she is already attracted to him when he begins to show her “The Club” and the BDSM lifestyle.

It is written in a very sexy way as they communicate about it and get to know each other over a few weeks or months and I really liked the flow of the romance, the steamy sex scenes, and the overall story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This doesn't deserve a detailed review. It's slow, boring, and NOT a BDSM fic.

Isaac needs a PA. He literally runs into Maggie. He's attracted to her and hires her to be his PA. She's interested in BDSM but her now deceased husband made her feel like it was something to be ashamed of. Isaac wants to test things out with her. They have seriously boring sex at the 76% mark. HEA.

Like I said - slow - boring - and just meh. Pass on this one.

ARC received for review

The love story was great. The kink not so much. I expected more from Ms. Me.

I still want to know what's going on with Ty and Lillian. I hope their story is the next book.

I haven’t read Tara Sue Me in a while. I don’t know why. I have always enjoyed her stories and was thrilled that I was able to get to read BSD. The name alone intrigued me and had me excited to read the story. I was not in the least bit disappointed.

BSD was funny, erotic and interesting. Isaac was intriguing. A demanding boss by day … a dominant by night. But, that’s something that his new PA does not need to know. No matter how much he wants her to know and to show her exactly what he can do with his big swinging d. He knows she’s not in the lifestyle and he never mixes business with pleasure. Maggie is totally fascinated by Isaac. She has no idea why he would offer her a job right after he met her. But, she’s not going to let that stop her. But her boss is really, really bossy. And, it makes her hot. She has no idea what kind of meetings he has at night but has an idea. When she sweet-talks his partner into taking her to The Club, she’s even more intrigued and has a whole new outlook and respect for her boss. Until he catches here there … now, all bets are off.

I loved how this story just flowed off the pages. You couldn’t wait to turn the page to see what kind of a mess Maggie made or how Isaac was going to react. She was the perfect PA. Especially when she was under the desk. When the perfect solution to their problem of working together came along, Maggie couldn’t accept the position quick enough. Why? Now they could truly be together. Tara Sue Me knows how to write erotica and bring you right into that world. But, she also knows how to spin the story around it. It’s not all sex … there is always an interesting story around it. You understood why Isaac was intrigued with Maggie and why Maggie felt insecure in the bedroom. Then you totally felt them falling in love and understood the dilemma they were facing with their relationship.

I truly enjoy getting to know the characters, understanding them and Tara Sue Me did a wonderful job of doing that.

Big Swinging D by Tara Sue Me is book Two in the Wall Street Royals Series. This is the story of Isaac Gregory and Maggie Warren. I haven't yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
Isaac is a leader on Wall Street, determined, focused, organized and a Dom in his private. Maggie is not focused, looses jobs, klutzy and is just the total opposite of Isaac. When Maggie tumbles into his life he is immediately attracted to her even though she isn't his usually type. When he learns she is between jobs, Isaac ends up offering a job that came open as his Personal Assistant. Of course this leads them to have more access to each other and start to learn more about the other person.
Loved their Story.

I voluntarily requested an advance reader copy of Big Swinging D by Tara Sue Me, because her books have often been recommended to me, so this is the first time I've read her, and, as seems to be my habit, it's the second book in a series, and I've not read the first one, but this novel is billed as a standalone, and I guess it works as such, but I fail to see what all the rave reviews are about, because this short novel could, at best, have been referred to as BDSM-light, and for that reason along with others I'll mention, this was, in my opinion, a 1-star read.

The female lead in this novel is Maggie, a widow, whose late husband found her interest in adding a little kink to their marital relationship unacceptable, and so their sex was as vanilla as vanilla could be. After his death, Maggie finds herself in desperate need of a full-time job, and after actually running into Isaac, a Wall Street millionaire, and accidentally pouring a big bucket of compost all over him and his expensive suit, she invites him back to her apartment to shower and change his now odiferous clothing for clothing that once belonged to her late husband. Next thing you know, Maggie is working as Issac's personal assistant, notwithstanding her lack of office skills, her haphazard way of doing things and her messy desk. Despite Isaac's policy to not become involved with his employees, he's attracted to Maggie, who figures out rather quickly that Isaac is a Dom, and has the nerve to ask him about it. She is soon transferred to another job, freeing her up for a relationship with Isaac, and her BDSM dreams are about to come true.

The relationship between these two characters is pretty much nonexistent, and there is little to no depth or backstory for either of them, the most we learn is that Maggie's late husband was a bit of a prude, and we learn nothing about how Isaac got his nickname, while the novel's title does give us a clue about his attributes. We don't know how or why he became a Dom, or anything else about his history, his emotions, or his past He's a rather staid, cool and commanding Dom verbally, and Maggie is pretty much his exact opposite, and why he is suddenly attracted to her just one more unanswered question about this pair.

By the time these two characters finally get together sexually, I found Maggie's introduction to BDSM rather bland and in no way sexy--one slight bj, a spanking, getting bent over a chair, and told to be quiet was a major fail, in my opinion, and Maggie's acceptance of becoming Isaac's submissive which almost immediately becomes mutual insta-love was so low-key and considering their lack of communication, was virtually unbelievable. I also found the fact that Isaac didn't do threesomes was rather odd for a Dom who belongs to a BDSM club, where sharing a submissive is a rather common occurrence. Unfortunately, this is about a deeply as the author delved into the psyches of her characters actions and emotions. This novel read like a summary of a BSDM novel by someone who knew little about the BDSM lifestyle, and was clearly designed for readers who know little or nothing about the lifestyle either. Unfortunately, I know more about the lifestyle than the author appeared to know, and, as I felt about the 50 Shades series, people who really know nothing about the BDSM lifestyle, shouldn't be writing about it.

All in all, while this novel was blessedly a quick, short read, that's about the only good thing I can say about it. If you are interested in reading more about BDSM, there are far better novels about the subject out there, by authors like Shayla Black, Lora Leigh and Nikki Sex, and I'd recommend reading those to get a better idea about the BDSM lifestyle than what this novel has to offer in the way of an explanation, common practices, and an emotional connection to its characters.

Maggie and Isaac- mooooore

This was well-written but it was on the short side. I read it in a few hours but found myself wanted a lot more. I loved how talkative Maggie was until she realized how dominant Isaac could be. It was a great intro to The Club but I wanted more. Even the last few chapters felt a little rushed.

••••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars--BIG SWINGING D is the second instalment in Tara Sue Me’s contemporary, adult WALL STREET ROYAL erotic,BDSM, romance series focusing on business partners Ty Bancroft, Isaac Gregory and Lance Braxton. This is Wall Street investor and Dominant Isaac Gregory, and widow/submissive Maggie Warren’s story line. BIG SWINGING D can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Isaac was introduced in book one FOK

Told from dual third person perspectives (Isaac and Maggie) BIG SWINGING D follows the building personal, professional and D/s relationship between Wall Street investor and Dominant Isaac Gregory, and widow/submissive Maggie Warren. Isaac Gregory is desperate to find a replacement for his former PA but everyone has failed to meet expectations. An accidental meeting with Maggie Warren finds Isaac offering Maggie the position as his new PA as he considers offering her the position as his new submissive. What ensues is the quick building D/s relationship and romance between Maggie and Isaac, and the potential fall-out as Maggie’s past seeks revenge for a crime she did not commit.

The relationship between Maggie and Isaac is quick to develop but Isaac doesn’t do relationships outside of ‘The Club’ but Maggie stirs something deep within our story line hero, something he is willing to test if only Maggie were not his new PA. The $ex sense are intimate, erotic and intense.

The ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters include Maggie’s former in-laws Tobias and Edith Warren. We are reintroduced to Isaac’s business partner Ty Bancroft, and Lance’s grandmother Barbara Murphy.

BIG SWINGING D is a story of insta-lust/love; a D/s relationship that quickly grows into something more; a tale of betrayal, secrets, and vengeance. The fast paced premise is entertaining; the romance is lively and spirited; the characters are energetic and charismatic

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for a honest review.

This book is what I would call a BDSM light book and a pretty quick read. It actually had a cute couple but it lacked the intensity I prefer from a BDSM book. I enjoyed reading about Maggie and Issac' first meeting and the subsequent encounters. The BDSM scenes were very “vanilla” though and I felt that these two character's where a bit one dimensional. Overall enjoyed the story line and the character's I just wanted more.

I enjoyed Maggie & Isaac’s story. I always enjoy stories where you never would have put the two main characters together because they are so different. I literally laughed out loud when they met and then enjoyed their banter the rest of the way through the book.

Oh how I love the men of Wall Street. Isaac and Maggie find themselves in quite the predicament. Between the compost, her working for him, and then the exploration that commences. Tara Sue Me knows how to write erotic scenes and romance. Now I just need to get inside Lillian and Tys' heads to figure out what went wrong with them. An advanced reader copy was provided in exchange for honest review.

This author never ceases to amaze me. She’s got ability to weave words together and create a compelling, hot as hell and addictive plot and Big Swinging D was just that and more.

She managed to write a hot as hell, witty and fun plot for Maggie and Isaac.
I absolutely adored them. Their chemistry, their banter, the push and pull and the fact that these two humans couldn’t be anymore different from each other but I found the way the two bounced off of each others’ personality was perfect.

Maggie was a bit of a hot mess. She went from job to job, not able to stay focused on just one for any decent length of time, and the same can be said for her love life. She was every where and no where, she was literally a hot mess with a free spirit.

Isaac was the complete opposite of Maggie. He was level headed, he was focused, he was driven, and he was successful and after Maggie literally ran into him and fell to his feet. Isaac offered her a job and she took it.
Maggie was not the sort of woman he would typically be attracted to. In fact, she was the complete opposite and she was definitely not the type of submissive he would even go anywhere near, but here he was strangely attracted to the hot mess that was Maggie..... and this was the start of a strange, fun, and perfect romance.. with a few twists and turns thrown in.

I absolutely loved this. I loved the opposite attract, and I love that the book was fun, yet still held that intense spark that I have ALWAYS loved about this authors books... and of course, the kink.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I love my kink reads and that, when it comes this sub-genre/trope, Tara Sue Me is a #1 favourite of mine.

She cannot write a bad book, in my opinion and the Wall Street Royals series so far is nothing less than perfect.

Having read FOK before this book, I knew going into this one that it would also be novella-like in length and to not expect too much. I think this book did a much better job bringing us in by including more details though, so that was a welcome change.

We met Isaac in FOK, although I really didn't remember much about him other than he was partners with Ty and Lance. He's pretty stern and no-nonsense, so when he finds himself with a personal assistant, he's on the search for a new one. That's when he (literally) runs into Maggie, who just so happens to be carrying a bucket of compost. I guess you could say they had a meet 'stinky' cute beginning.

Maggie is the widow of an oil heir and her in-laws hate her. She's never liked the rich snooty types of people since all she knew were the mean kinds. She was a bit of a free spirit and certainly had a lot of personality and added some humor to the story. On the first day she meets Isaac, he offers her a job as his assistant, even though it's pretty obvious they both want a more physical relationship.

Eventually, they take that next step in their relationship and of course, it's a D/s relationship, just like the rest of the Wall Street Royals men have with their women. It was hot, but this book just scratched the surface into a D/s relationship. It didn't leave me completely wanting more like Book 1 though, so for that, I'm appreciative of having more graphic and longer scenes included.

If I had a complaint, it's that the last 20-30% of the book was incredibly rushed. So much stuff is crammed into very few chapters, which was the opposite of the first half of the book. The whole in-law part at the end seemed out of place and like it was an afterthought. But other than that, I really enjoyed this one and can't wait for Ty's book next.

***I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley, After Six Publishing, and Tara Sue Me.***

I requested Big Swinging D, by Tara Sue Me, on a whim. I’ve never read anything by the author. After a chance meeting, Isaac offers Maggie a job as his assistant. The work well together, chemistry notwithstanding. The attraction becomes too much to ignore once she figures out his secret. He has a whole world he wants to introduce her to; she only has to trust him.

The relationship between Isaac and Maggie is unconventional from the very beginning. She’s quirky. He’s reserved and a bit stern. I guess I had trouble accepting and understanding why he’d invite a chaotic person into his business life. On the personal side of things, I could see he was drawn to her and she to him. I struggled to get into the story because we were only given the bare minimums of things: a peek into Maggie’s marriage, or Isaac’s Dom life or work life. It felt like most of the story barely scratched the surface, and I would have preferred a little bit more detail.

An unlikely match turns up the heat in Tara Sue Me's next book in the Wall Street Royals series! We met the delectable Isaac in the previous book starring Lance and Celeste. He's a successful businessman by day and a self-assured dominant by night. The story was sexy and fun and we got to reconnect with the past characters as well. I'm looking forward to getting Ty and Lillian's story soon!

Maggie Warren is something of a free spirit. She flits between job not able to decide on exactly what it is that satisfies her in life, but she happily juggles it all with a smile on her face. It's that exact attitude that keeps her from totally freaking out when she accidentally dumps an entire compost container on a gorgeous stranger on the street.

Isaac Gregory shouldn't even take a second look at Maggie considering how scattered she seems to be, but he finds himself offering her his newly vacated personal assistant position and facing a non-stop attraction to her. She's not the type he normally goes for, and when she finds out the lifestyle he leads, he's sure she'll run for the hills ... but when Maggie surprises him and is actually intrigued instead, things just might get dicey here because he doesn't mess with employees!

I don't recall ever reading anything by this author and I'm really not even sure how I got this book. I'd say I received an email about it, but I purchased it on Amazon yesterday. I started it about 1030 last night and finished it at 930 this morning. I took a 3-hour nap in between that time, so I finished this book in around 8 hours. The ONLY reason I finished it overnight was because my sons cat decided she was going to go into labor last night and bless us with 5 baby kittens!

While the outcome and ending of the book was definitely predictable in a way, I enjoyed the story leading up to the ending! The only book I can recall reading that deals with any kind of BDSM is The 50 Shades series and I feel this was definitely TAME compared to those books.

Big Swinging D is book 2 in the Wall Street Royals series and I haven't read the first book, yet I didn't feel like I was missing any pertinent information by reading book 2 before book 1! Maggie is a character! She's spunky, sassy and funny.

This was a enjoyable quick read. I really like books with humour added in the story. I did not read book one FOK and was able to follow Big Swinging D. This was the story of flustered widow Maggie Warren and Dom Isaac Gregory. Isaac is not a fan of chaos and likes order, control and things at arms reach. Maggie literally rams into Isaac's life and becomes his PA.
Maggie is happy to just live her life w/out the frowning eyes of her mother in law who chooses to be a bitch towards her. B/c Isaac likes to have control and order, he helps Maggie begin a new life, the chaos begins to settle and she is becoming a whole person. This was a cute story and I will be reading more from this series.

One walk and one barrel full of compost changes Isaac’s life. It brings Maggie and the chaos that surrounds her into his life. The two are total opposites but as they say the attraction between the two is off the charts. Will Maggie and Isaac find more than just attraction or is this just a way to scratch an itch for them?

Isaac and Maggie’s adventure is an interesting story. Maggie is a great woman and has dealt with a lot in her life but does not let it stifle her in any way but one. When she finds out about Isaac’s lifestyle, she grabs her chance and runs with it. I loved seeing how strong and carefree she becomes as she begins to find her true self. Isaac is a strong and good man that needs a bit of chaos in his life and Maggie is just the woman to bring it. The two make a nice couple and watching them find their way made for a sweet read. This book moves along at a good pace with humor and romance mixed together nicely.

I received this arc for an honest review.
Maggie is offered a job as a personal assistant after running into and dropping compost onto the man that ends up hiring her. Isaac though her boss is intrigued by her. Her looks, personality, and someone that stirs his insides. He also would like to be inside of her as well. This all changes for them when he sees her at the club that he is a member of. She wanting to see what BDSM clubs are like goes as a guest and is really not surprised when Isaac finds her there.
Their time goes from the club to the bedroom to the office where it really is hot. Don’t think that Maggie does not know what she is doing to him and how she affects him in the office, bedroom, or where ever, she doesn’t mind either. This is a fun erotic and just a very good read with really good characters. I received this book from Netgalley.com. I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at

Love is easy and comfortable.

This is the story of Isaac & Maggie. Isaac works on Wall Street. Maggie is wealthy, due to an inheritance from her husband’s death. They meet when they literally bump into each other; her carrying compost, and him walking to try and clear his head. Due to circumstances Isaac offers her the job of being his personal assistant. She finds out on the sly that Isaac is a Dom. Maggie has always wanted to explore being a submissive. There’s just one problem. No fraternizing at work. They are definitely attracted to each other, so there is a lot of steam between them. She gets another job offer, so she quits, leaving her wide open for a relationship with Isaac. Many things happen in between and after all this. Such a surprise near the end, too. Tara Sue Me has that knack of writing well written stories that you can’t put down. Looking forward to the last book in this series.

This was my first book by Tara Sue Me, and while it was entertaining, I didn't find it engaging. The characters were likable, but I found interactions between Maggie and Isaac stilted and unnatural sounding. I couldn't put myself in their shoes and imagine it happening I didn't find any chemistry between the two of them. The BDSM scenes and dialogue felt manufactured and mechanical.

I also got no insight on why they call Isaac Big Swinging D. This is supposed to be a standalone so I expected some sort of flashback on why they all call him that and why he hates it. Even the ending was sudden and abrupt.

This was a fine book, just not memorable to me. I couldn't connect with any of The characters or story. I really wish I liked this book more. I will however, try another one of her books at a later date.

Swinging D Forever😂😍

I've been eyeing this book for a minute then I just got it to read. OMG it was a amazing story! I have not read a book from Tara before so this is my first time. Her writing is done beautifully and flows throughout the book. I made seen like two mistakes throughout the book but it didn't take for the story. I absolutely love Maggie. She's sweet, quiet, a little clumsy, and sunshine. She's a beautiful widow that lights up the room when she enter and put everyone at ease. She's one of my favorite herione. Isaac is totally alpha male, smart, sexy, and single. Isaac works on Wall Street and goes by the nickname "Swinging D" at work. He's a Dom but he's not into pain only pleasure. I love the chemistry and their relationship. Amazing work Tara She Me! 😘
I'm ready for Ty and Lillian's story!!!

Big Swinging D Book 2 in the Wall Street Royals Series Tara Sue Me
4 Stars

“She wasn’t sure how it was possible for the excitement in her belly to both calm down and grow more intense at the same time.“

When two people that are opposites fit perfectly like two puzzle pieces... why does it still appear as though they will never actually fit together? One is awkward and clumsy the other is calm, confident and controlling.

“ The room was a feast of offerings for every sense she had. If she stayed in one place, she could probably gorge herself.”

You can’t know a person by their visual appearance. Their mind, desires, actions and fantasies can have a completely different vision.

“You’re not fine. But you will be.”

Catastrophe to Bliss

Incredibly, a day that starts off as a catastrophe for both Isaac Gregory and Maggie Warren turns out to be something else. But does it lead to their everything?

Isaac is a dominant. He is a charismatic Wall Street Royal. He believes in conquer, command and control. But Maggie is the opposite. She lacks focus, jumps from job to job and seemingly from one relationship to another. And wants to explore her submissive fantasies.

Do opposites attract? What happens when fate brings Isaac and Maggie together? Him taking a walk to clear his head. She carrying a huge container of smelly compost. Well, this funny episode is just the start of a wonderful story. You MUST read.

This story was a quick read, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how it is handled. In this case, I think the story suffers from a lack of expansion in the details. Brevity can be a good tool to move a story through the more mundane elements of everyday life, but with this book it felt like we were leap frogging over things that needed more exploration. I am all for the “insta-love” type stories, but this one jumped from meeting each other to being in love with each other with very little development of the relationship. It just felt like I was reading a summary of the story rather than the full story. The climax of the book was WAY too quickly resolved and then the book just ended. In the end, what started out as a promising premise ended in a disappointing read.
