Buckle up ladies and gents.
We are thrown back into Dell’s world after that nail-biting cliffhanger from Book 1. It’s not a pretty situation, but it’s so captivating to see how Dell handles it. Without her Gods, back in the hell that has been her life, we really get to see just how sick and twisted her world really is. It’s not pretty. But Dell isn’t one of my favorite FMC’s ever because of her perfect outlook on her perfect, prettily packaged life. No, I love her because she deals with that crappy hand she’s been dealt and doesn’t gripe about it. And my, what a crappy hand it is.
This book is raw, it is dark, it is a wild freaking ride. I can’t say it enough how highly I recommend this series. Book 1 was amazing, book 2 is even better! I need book 3. Like, right now!! Go, dive into this book and feel all the feels with me!!!

OH Ladies and Lucky Gents, this book will blow your mind and the end will shatter you but all in a good way. This book is darker than book one and you may need to take some deep breaths on this wild ride Dell takes you on. Dell is back in the hands of Kroe the man who broke her and many times she wants to kill him however he has been the only male figure in her life, which fucks with her mind. Her four gods have to stay at a distance from here and can not interfere with all that Dell has to endure at the hands and cocks of many men. She has to learn and accept being an outcast among her own while trying to figure out a way back to her gorgeous gods but is it too late and what secrets has Dell been hiding. Will Dell take those secrets to the grave and will that be sooner or later than she expected.

Book 2 of this series by S.A Parker this book is hitting me on so many different feels ... so in the details it says a lot of triggers and usually I’m not 100% into books with “triggers” not because It bother me it’s more about how the girls act with these “triggers” whatever they might be ... but dell is legit in h*ll and she still doesn’t seem weak she has moments of despair but she still rises up and does what needs to be done, but her men/gods are amazing I’m obsessed with them and after that amazing ending (I am dying for book 3 already) I can not wait to know more about them and see there relationship transpire... I need to know what happens next !!

If you don't mind dark books with vagina/ inner monologues and you love RH, then this series is for you. Seriously, I love it so much it's a new favorite. I can't wait for the next one! It's coming out at the end of August and I'm so excited to read it!!

Aaaaahhh, Dell! I’ve missed her so much! When this book hit my kindle..I instantly devoured it!
I was sad when I finished it, because seriously when you have a story this good? You never want it to end! But this is written so beautifully that when it does end, you’re still left feeling satisfied.
It’s this bittersweet feeling. I mean..don’t get me wrong..I was thissss close to flipping tables over when I read the very last page because I mean..COME ONNNN how could any sane person not feel that way?
Buuuut..at the same time I was thinking “daaaaaang that was the PERFECT way to end this book!”
I’ve said it before and here I am saying it again - it takes TALENT to write a story that seriously has such a beautiful flow of showing vs telling and the PERFECT amount of mystery and information sprinkled in!
Throughout this story, under all the comedic conversation and sarcastic remarks, Dell is this insanely strong and protective female. She KNOWS so much, forgets NOTHING and in my opinion loves deeper than any one female character I’ve read before.

Holy freaking hell did not see that coming... talk about bloody surprising... always knew dell was special shes strong and heals quicker than a normal person.. dell is thrown back into life with kroe the sun gods want to save her but cant because of the wards that will kill them instantly, so dell makes a plan to save some of her girls while trying to survive the torture her body recieves daily.

This author!? This book!?!? Absolutely. Positively. MARVELOUS!!! In this book you get to see more of Dells past but there are twists and turns that keep you on your toes and ready for more. Waiting for book three is going to be torture!

The second chapter finds Dell in the sadistic brutal hands of Kroe. She tortures herself emotionally on realising what's happened to the girls whilst shes been away. Selflessly she follows a dark path to try and save them.
Through the dark bleak shadows, her sun gods are there. Never giving up on her. Even though she has herself.

The ending in this blew my mind. The levels of story line are amazing. This is such a well written book, and I just loved it. The characters are interesting and deep, and I love the way that they interact with each other. The main characters inner monologue is hilarious and adds an appropriate level of humor to some seriously shit situations. Great job on this book, and I never saw some of those twists coming!!!

First of all: that ending! I stayed up until 2AM binge-reading this, and now I wish that I'd drawn it out a little longer—the next book can't come quickly enough!
Beyond that, I really do love almost everything about this series thus far. It's refreshing to find a heroine (especially in this genre) that doesn't immediately bend to the will of the heroes, and since that opposition tends to be one of my favorite parts of reverse harem novels, I was definitely loving this one.
And I can't forget the guys, who are sweet (in their own ways) and who I like a lot better than most of the heroes in reverse harem novels. They're just the right amount of protective without being annoyingly overbearing, and through their interactions with Dell it's obvious that they care.
All in all, I'm definitely digging this series. I'll be keeping my eye out for the next book, for sure!

Another knock out book by S.A parker. If your looking for a book that's funny, hot & steamy, dark, and twisty. This is the book you should be reading
We get to see Dell after the end of book 1 and she has to deal with repercussions of coming back to her old life after being gone. Needless to say it is not a smooth re-entry. Dell has to deal with alot and it's not all physical. But she has her sun gods there, but are they enough for her to hold on to and will they still be there after all her secrets are layed out.
This book is fantastic and so well written.This book does have some trigger warnings but if that's not a problem for you, you will be highly rewarded. Everyone is so distinct in personality, you will love the characters in this book even the ones you hate.
And this book has some shockers for you so be prepared...and the ending...whew! I hope your ready.

So with the ending of the last book I expected this book to have a darker feel. And like I expected, it did. You get a glimpse into the life that Dell was forced to endure growing up. Before starting I was wondering if Parker was going to go too over the top with the content of story and the abuse that Dell was forced to endure. I mean we had heard of the life that Dell had lived - but not seen the brutality of it as much in the first book. I think Parker gave just enough vivid details to keep the reader entertained without going overboard as I have seen some stories do in the past.
Overall I am super happy to have the Sun Gods back in the picture. I wish there would have been more of them however I know story wise they weren't meant to be. The ending of this book had me yelling at phone and I am needing to know what happens next ASAP!!!!

There are some big triggers in this book but Sarah has once again written this so well it walks that fine edge of dark twisted and funny..
This book Ruined me!! Not in a gentle delicate way but a raw rip your soul out and be left with nothing but to laugh about it ...and it's far from over.. Really!! Its just beginning and with that said I feel as though all the parts of my heart have been ripped out and put back together so it beats a different rhythm..yep arrhythmia... This series is going to give me a heart attack and I can’t wait!! I’ll welcome it with open arms... So Bring it on Sarah hit me!!

Yes, yes, yes! I loved it! Dell is fearless and this book was epic. Ugh, I'm excited and dismayed on the last page because the next book hasn't released yet and hello cliffhanger but it did end on a high surprise note so I'm really just giddy to get the next one in my greedy clutches... eep, August isn't that far away at least lol definitely recommend this series.

OMFG! I didn’t see that coming...
I love Dell and her vag monologues. She has survived so many horrible things and I’m not surprised by her choices through out this book. Her gods are super protective and slightly assholes but you can tell how much they care for her. But that ending though can’t say I saw that coming and now I need to know more. There is so much more to Dell then what anyone knows and now I am curious to see how her gods handle it.

Holy bloody smokes!
This is NOT an easy book to love, but it’s an impossible book to hate. Book 1 had me on the fence, while this one threw me firmly into fan mode.... reluctantly? It’s brutal, harsh and unforgiving - and so dang compelling you just HAVE to keep reading. It deserves every trigger warning it gets, plus some, but for those with the stomach, the story behind the violence and cruelty is riveting, or maybe it’s the horror that makes it riveting? Either way, it got me. I hesitated on book 1, but I’m won over.
Pros:
- Dell. She still talks to herself (and her body parts do too!) too much, but she’s growing on me. A lot.
- The Sun Gods. They don’t feature as much in this installment, and the intimate nature of their relationships is still a slow burn, but what we do see (about 45% on) makes me fall a little bit in love with all of them.
- Stockholm. It’s a real thing... and the after effects are debilitating.
- foreshadowing from book 1 plays out here.
Cons:
- It’s a HARD, really hard book. The men in this world are trained to be unkind, and Dell is the brunt of that torture at a brothel.
- I almost felt bad for her nether parts in this installment. Last book, her lady bits had a virtual mind of their own... this book? They suffer some serious sleep apnea, attitude wise. Oh, there’s some lippy (see what I did there?) snark, but nothing like the previous novel.

Wow just wow
Let's just get this out of the way, book two is way darker! Dell is back in the clutches of Kroe. The man who chose to keep her as a sex slave instead of a breeder. The second book is basically dell, trying to right a wrong that she feels responsible for. While she's doing that, she has to deal with kroe, other dumpster, fire men and her unfortunately fellow sex slaves attitudes (smh I put the book down and ranted at the wall, cause they got on my nerve lol) . And not to forget her sexy sun gods watching all of this.
There is an overarching mystery since book one that we're still not privy to but I'm pretty sure we've all figured out. At least I did, and I'm happy about that, because I really get frustrated when there's a mystery, that's not solved until 12 books later. Even though I've guessed the secret I'm still thoroughly interested in the story behind it. Also I can't gush enough over the sun gods, especially Aero! He's my favorite, I love a growler....don't judge me lol
I wish I had put 3 in my hands right now, but I don't so I'm gonna go wallow in a Mimosa and think about that damn cliffhanger.

A Feathers Worth will leave you destroyed and wanting more!
This book just beats all the tropes, genres, styles and books coming out as of late.
We delve back into the dark yet humourous world that Dell and her Sun God's live in. It's an excruciating ride that I did not want to put down, and so I didn't lol. The crud that Dell goes through in this book is insane and I am honestly in awe of her character.
Dell represents every quality we as women admire and like to think we live, at least some of the time. She is courageous, strong willed, beautiful, cunning, witty, badass and a little bit of a smart arse.
The Sun God's get more and more scrumptious as this story gets told. We become more aware of their powers, their responsibilities, their passion and the lengths they will go to for Dell. These hot gods will seriously rock your world and definitely have you needing a cold glass of water.
As I said in my previous review of book 1, some authors have the talent to write master pieces and S. A. Parker is that kind of author.

This is tough. I know my review for book one touched on the potential this series has, and that my rating was inflated because of that for that book. But after finishing this second novella I feel comfortable saying that potential is not going to be realized. I still see the seeds of a really great story idea, but the execution is not there. I really wish this was up to par with the author's other pen name because I think it would be a favorite RH series of mine if it was.

Omg best book series ever
Since I picked up the first book, I have binge read the series. I literally ran to grab my charger as my phone was dying so I didn't have to stop reading I am addicted. I'm not sure I can wait until August for the next book, this was such a good read. Koodos to the author for making this book literally the best reverse harem I have ever read. If you're thinking of getting this book literally stop thinking and grab it, I promise that you'll be just as hooked.

Dell’s back at the brothel, and with a pretty crappy plan for saving the girls. She is willing to do anything. My heart kind of hurt for they guys. Even though we don’t have POVs from them, you can feel how much they care about her. This series just sucks you in :)

The hell that she is enduring is... intense and if it wasn’t for her spirit and just the way she holds herself she would be broken, as i figure most everyone would be in this situation, but she does what needs to be done and rises above so much.

It’s hard to stop reading
A Feather’s Worth by SA Parker, Book 2 in the Spawn of Darkness series is another fine example of SA Parker’s fabulous penmanship. It’s imperative that you read the authors warnings at the start. The book is dark, it’s nauseating and heartfelt as we continue with Dells tragic journey. The story is so very different and detailed but again not for the faint hearted, but rest assured it’s an amazing read that challenges your perception of inspiration, love and hope.

This is the second addition to this series and I have to say it just adds so much depth to the series! I absolutely loved it!
There are some ‘gory’ scenes in this book that may bother some, BUT it’s sooo worth the read! I’m so hooked on this series and can’t say enough how much I enjoy every chapter! Definitely a must read!

Dell’s wandering vagina is back with a vengeance, and some teeth. She continues to grow as an incredibly amazing character with the most bad ass sense of humor considering the severity is f her situation. I can’t wait to see what happens to Fell in the next chapter of her story!
