A must read for would be parents and parents to young ones.

Wish we had this book when we were expecting our baby. It would have helped us immensely.
No doubt that it is helping us now as well and specially in bursting some traditional myths.
The chapters are well divided and cover most of the necessary points.
Real bonus is tip box which summarizes the chapter and it is most helpful.

Here are some of the gems from the book...

There is a lot more than meets the eye when an IQ score is derived. To be highly successful, one needs a combination of many factors such as ambition, persistence, perseverance, opportunity, clarity in thought, grit, hard work and dedication and experience (and sometimes luck!). So, bear in mind that intelligence does matter but not as much as one might think.

What happens after you are born is more important than what you inherit, so you really need to work on it.

A final little note to parents out there: intelligence alone is not everything; without ethics and empathy, intelligent people can be the biggest failures in life. So, please teach your children with love, make time for them, and be a happy parent. Good luck for your parenting journey!
