Three words that describe me perfectly. I’m ruthless for my brothers, my club, my family. My injuries brought me to the hospital. Who knew I would meet a nurse who could take my pain away in an instant. Spending time in the hospital has never been more enticing.
The problem is she hates bikers. But I can’t get her out of my head. And I’m not the one to give up. I’ll make sure she gives up before I do. Leigh is the woman I want.
But trouble never leaves the town. It’s dangerous for Leigh to stay with me. And I must keep her safe from our enemies. Those bastards don’t know who they’re messing with. I’ll do whatever it takes.
I’ll save and protect Leigh, forever.
I will put everything on the line to make her mine and protect her!

This was another good read in the series. Zeke is hospitalized and while there he falls for the nurse. Leigh is just getting out of a bad relationship. However, after spending time with Zeke she has fallen for him and he has fallen for her. Of course there is some drama and something bad happens to her. Thankfully in the end she comes to her senses and they get their HEA.
Second book of the series. It's a good book but I finally figured out what was missing. Background... The H and the h's background is only hinted at. We know Zeke has been in trouble in the past and even went to jail but he has bad self esteem problems and doesn't think he is good enough for Leigh. Leigh has hinted at issues in her past that drove her to be better... Better than what? Just wish it would have told what happened to them in the past to be who they are now. Now that I've said what I didn't like let me say some of what's going on and you can decide.... If you read book one than you know it left off with Zeke in the hospital and that is what this one started. Zeke wakes up and first thing he see is Leigh and to him she is beautiful but he can tell she hates him on sight and he plays off it but calling her Nurse Curvey. Yeah to someone who hates MC's that pissed her off.... Wish I knew why she hates MC's... She is his nurse the whole time he is there and he keeps on annoying her. Leigh is recently out of a relationship that was with a jerk with a stick up his butt and who cheated on her with one of her best friends. She decided to use Zeke to get back at her ex and to get herself back in the game of dating. Turns out she falls for him and he her. With any MC whether they are legit or one percenter's there is always going to be danger. Can a once MC hater and a MC brother make a go of it or will she run away? Guess you will have to find out.
Zeke (Devil's Flame MC Book 2) - a review by Rosemary Kenny
Do you remember the film Sliding Doors, where one reality or another occurs by the merest chance - how the delay of only a few moments can set off a chain reaction, that will change someone's life for good or ill - but never leaves those involved unaffected? .Such a premise is brought to life in Romi Hart's Zeke, Book 2 in the Devil's Flame MC series.
The eponymous MC triggers a potentially deadly outcome at the start of the novel, leading on to an unexpected encounter between the 1st and 2nd MCs. Emotions run high on one character's part, that are not initially reciprocated by the other, due to a previous relationship on the second's part going bad, which has a negative knock-on effect, on the one that may not now take place as a result.
I really liked the chance way these events appeared to potentially have a positive future outcome, despite initially not doing so. In turn, how the couple interacted initially, (dictated by the timing and location of this first contact) could sway the mood, atmosphere and resulting good or bad outcome. Regardless of hopes and dreams that might or might not be realised if just one factor was 'out of place', or someone else 'interfered' - to me gave a delicious sense of anticipation, as to how the story would unfold and if certain characters could get their HEA - or would get their 'comeuppance' as deserved. A satisfying sequel to Book 1 in the Devil's Flame MC series, by Romi Hart will reveal all you want to know and more! Read both books [in sequence], to get the best idea of where the characters have come from and why they act as they do and prolong your reading pleasure too!
his is the 2nd in the MC series from Romi Hart,,,,, introducing,,,,,,, Zeke, the Communications Specialist of the Devil's Flame MC ,,,
So, we pick up Zeke, injured in the hospital after being in an altercation in Rafe's book,,,, that would be the 1st in the series, in case someone has a problem knowing which book this one follows ,,,, anyway ,,, so, Zeke is a hospital patient being cared for from Nurse Leigh whom he does not know when he regained consciousness,,, but Leigh has a preconceived version of all bikers, and, I'm afraid it does not happen to match Zeke's opinion of bikers, his family, his brother's,,, his compatriots,,, but while Zeke is trying to get closer to Leigh, her ex starts trouble with her,,, but the big thing is that Leigh gets kidnapped by Gomez the Pres of the Raven's ,,,, well,,, you all know what happens now,,,, right,,,??? ,,, you don't,,,,???,,,, well, now's a great time to grab this book and find out,,,, I can't tell you EVERYTHING now, can I,,,,, ???,,,,
I loved this 2nd book in this Series of the Devil's Flame MC that Romi Hart has going ,,,,, now, you could maybe read this as a standalone ,,, but you would be a tad lost on what actually happened in the first book called Rafe,,,, a good starter book for this series,,,,
1. Rafe and Kira ,,, 2. Zeke and Leigh,, 3. Eli and ,,,,,,,
Yeap,,,, still leaving you standing ,,,,, grab these reads by Romi Hart on your favorite platform,,,, you will not be disappointed,,,, I know I'm totally not,,,,,, I would so totally recommend this series to anyone,,,,,
I got this ARC voluntarily to leave an honest review,
Zeke (Devil’s Flames MC Book 2) by Romi Hart is more great stuff from this author. After reading Rafe, book 1 of this series along with Zeke’s story I’m firmly convinced Romi Hart has produced her best stuff yet! It promises more fantastic MC romance to come. This book continues the plot from book 1 that kept me engaged and intrigued in how it would impact Zeke and his lady love, Leigh. As far as character development, these two are complete opposites on the surface, but deep down, there are many similarities that just make sense as the story and plot progresses. This one is full of emotional connections as well as denials that just can hold out against the chemistry that leads to undeniable feelings of love and need. Overall, another wonderfully well written book I enjoyed a great deal and had a hard time putting down. The ending, including the HEA guarantees more of the Devil’s Flames MC bad boys falling to come. I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
This book fell short for me, which is a bummer. I really enjoyed Rafe's book.
I couldn't connect with the characters. They were one dimensional. No depth. There was too much inner dialogue and very little dialogue between Zeke and Leigh. And not a lot of page time other than sex. Their 'love' for each other wasn't believable for me. I couldn't quite figure out what Zeke saw in Leigh that was so amazing other than great sex. Don't get me wrong; Zeke's character was endearing. But Leigh? I think she was just too damn judgmental and hateful at the beginning of the book that I never warmed to her. She just didn't seem like a nice person. She frustrated me a lot with her pushing Zeke away and running out on him. I liked her best friend Rory, and I hope she gets with a biker. She would at least appreciate him more than Leigh.
Not sure if I'll give book 3, Eli a chance after being disappointed with Zeke.
Well Zeke you may have a challenge on your hands with Leigh. Zeke meets Leigh at the hospital due to his injuries. Leigh is one tough chick. Not like fighting tough but society tough. She judges people by looks. This is a challenge to Zeke. Well Leigh can't figure out why she seems to be drawn to him. She is rude to him and does not care what he says. She thinks that he is the badboy playboy. So she finally decides to give into his charms and admits that he is not what she thought and that she judged him wrong. She gets to know him and he seems to struck by cupid because he cannot get her out of his head. Only she is having some issues with not being able to know what is club business stays with the club. That she will never know what is really going on unless she needs to know. She has a hard time dealing with not knowing and not being able to control her future. So what will happen? Will they get a happily ever after? You will need to read this book to find out.
I enjoy when a series continues the story on from the last read. Zeke is certainly a smart, determined man who will not give up on his pursuit of Leigh the nurse from the hospital who "hates" bikers. She is extremely sharp with Zeke when he makes his usual remarks such as calling her "Nurse Curvy". She shows her dissatisfaction that she even has to care for him. It seems amazing that they would ever get close enough to fall in love. Her live could become in danger by seeing Zeke so he knows he needs to extra aware of her so he can protect her. It is fun to watch how these beautiful, strong women take the biker heart to make him ready for family before they realize it has happened. Just like real life. What a love story. Please enjoy reading.
I'm still reading this but I'm not sure I will be finishing it. I enjoyed the first book, Rafe, although the storyline wasn't fleshed out enough so I wasn't very invested in the characters. However Zeke's character was fun so I wanted to read more. After reading a few chapters I am left a little confused. In Rafe there was another character called Blaze who was injured at the same time as Zeke and was in a more critical condition. He was mentioned many times in the first book but doesn't seem to exist anymore. I've even done a search for the name on my kindle and he isn't mentioned once. He definitely didn't die in the first book.
Can anyone who has read the book let me know if he's a character in this series or if the author just wrote him out?
I was so excited when the arc for this book but not inbox and I realised it was zekes story which I was begging for after book one!. I didn't know how romi was going to compare to rafe's book but she outdone herself this book was amazing.
Not only is it an MC.book with a.cocky bad boy biker like zeke but it's also a hate to love romance! It was such a fun read and the back and forth between zeke and Leigh was done so well.
This book was so well written and the characters have such good character progression along their journey.
This book has one of my.favourite side characters in leighs friend Rory .. She is kickass and I hope she is.getting her own biker man in the future!
Leigh, a nurse, is assigned to the room with Zeke, communications officer of the Devil’s Flame MC, when he is hospitalized after a fight. As the story progresses opinions change, danger comes calling, and determining what they can live with could solve the biggest problem they face. Romi Hart’s Devil’s Flame MC series is shaping into a great MC romance read. The characters are realistically flawed, suitably challenged, and delightfully sinful to read. I wonder what she has in store next.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
From prejudices to love Good continuation with Zeke who had been wounded in the first volume of "Rafe" and during his hospitalization, he met the nurse Leigh. She has prejudices about bikers and Zeke behaves like a jerk in reaction to her behavior. This is part is about Zeke's recovery and his relationship with Leigh who hates him. The intrigues between gangs continue and between a Zeke who wants to stay himself while seeking to please a young woman who does not want to be in contact with a biker, love / hate relations spice and punctuate all the story. It's a very good romance I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
MIND BLOWING THRILL!!! OMG! A whirlwind with a myriad of spiraling emotions burst forward. All the drama, action, uncertainty and suspense brings all the pieces together for one wild ride. An incredibly intense storyline and gripping plot kicks the baby up a few levels. A coiling eddy of unpredictable activities and unanticipated array of events that keep you flipping page after page. The characters are realistic with personalities and depth that draw you in. The scenes are so graphically descriptive and detailed it bursts with every color on the spectrum. Amazing job Romi, thanks for sharing.
Ok, I started reading Rafe, the first of Romi Hart’s Devil’s Flame MC books, and before I even thought about it I’d ended up reading the second and third books, Zeke and Eli, as well. If you are in the mood for sexy motor cycle club alphas you can’t really go wrong with these books, whether it’s Kira and Rafe’s story or that of either Leigh and Zeke or Rory and Eli. Each is different but all are equally fun. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go with praises. These books deserve it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the books are very easy to recommend.
Zeke meets Leigh when he is taken to the hospital after he's in a fight. Leigh doesn't like bikers she thinks that they are all bad people not anything like Zeke's club. Zeke wants to get to know Leigh better but she keeps him at arms length. However when her ex shows up causing problems Zeke isn't about to let that happen. Can Zeke show Leigh that he is different from other men she's known? Will she give him a chance?
This is a great story once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
Second book in this wonderful series in fact we met Zeke in the first book Rafe where he was injured
Zeke is in hospital recovering from the beating and stabbing that we learnt of in Rafe and he is opinionated and lets every one know he doesn't want to be Including to his nurse Leigh she has no time for MC members and lets him know As they spend time together they both have to rethink their preconceived notions and when danger comes after Leigh in the shape of Gomez, the president of the Ravens it will be up to Zeke to rescue her Can they have a HEA together You will have to read to see
This book picks up from the first book with Zeke in the hospital, razing his nurse Leigh. She’s got preconceived notions of him and his MC lifestyle. Yet her bf Rory convinces her to take a risk, and Zeke is that risk. When danger lurks Leigh struggles with the thoughts of the future, she runs and when she realizes she’s made a catastrophic decision she must put it all on the line for him. You have to read to find out if these two work it out. Read through Kindle Unlimited
We left book 1 (which I think you need before this one) with Zeke in the hospital. His nurse has definite opinions about bikers and they aren’t good. Zeke, however, has seen what he wants/needs and he won’t take no for an answer. I wasn’t sure I was going to like Zeke from book 1 (Rafe) but this book gives us a way better look at him. I liked him a lot and although I can understand Leigh’s reluctance in the beginning, I thought it went on a bit long. There was DANGER! Still a good story—off to grab Book 3.
When Leigh gets Zeke as her patient she has no time for a biker. She doesn't like they are criminals and terrify people. What she doesn't realize is that Zeke's MC is not like that. When they begin to talk and actually learn about each other a friendship develops. It can never be that simple though. As they get close his enemies get closer. Will they be able to work through the intense emotions and situations together or will it pull them a part?
I chose this rating because this was pretty good book. I enjoyed all of the characters. Zeke and Leigh, how they met was very unusual. She met him in the hospital she was his nurse. Anyway one thing led to another and then they got together. This book was well-written and yet there are a lot of crooks and turns and ups and down in this book. This is the book of compassion, judgment, recognizing your flaws, and is also about loving the one you with. Great read, I recommend this book to all romance and MC lovers.
Ezekial "Zeke" Austin meets Leigh Marks while he is a patient in the hospital where she is a nurse. His calling her "Nurse Curvy" didn't get him any brownie points.
After he is dismissed she arranges to see her friend, who is doing his PT, when he is there. Basically, she challenges him to ask her out. He does, they end up sleeping together at his apartment and then nothing from her.
He actually pursues her, much to his surprise since he has never had to chase a woman in his life, but he knows she is special.
Zeke picks up from the first book. He is in the hospital after taking a brutal beating. when he comes to Leigh is there to check on him. He can't help but tease her, but she is offended because of her perception of bikers. Leigh has her own drama with her ex and trying to get over him. When her friend suggests a roll with Zeke, she is beside herself but when her ex starts coming back around will she take that idea under consideration? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Awesome motorcycle club romantic suspense. Zeke is the communication specialist for the Devil Flames MC. Suddenly Zeke ends up in the hospital and meets Leigh. Leigh’s been assigned as the nurse to take care of Zeke who hits on her constantly. Leigh dislikes bikers without having to know Zeke. There is violence, intrigue, suspense, and romance. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Hart.
This is the second book in the series, it does start in the first book and I do recommend reading, however it can be read as a stand-alone. Zeke is injured and he meets Leigh, his nurse. She has no love loss for bikers but what will happen when sparks fly and Leigh ends up in danger. Fast-paced MC read, with lots of twists and turns. Strong characters with lots of depth. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!
An incredibly entertaining and well written standalone in the Devil's Flame MC series. The characters are realistically flawed, suitably challenged and have sizziling hot chemistry that grows to explosive with each encounter. The storyline is incredibly intense with unpredictable surprises, ups and downs, kindnapping, drama, action, uncertainty, passion and love. I voluntarily reviewed this amazing hot romance.
This will take you on a ride with danger, suspense, drama, sizzling chemistry and so much more. Zeke is injured and ends up in the hospital. Nurse Leigh is assigned to take care of Zeke. She does not give Zeke a chance at first because she dislikes bikers. This was well written and kept me turning the pages to find out what would happen next. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I loved the second book in this series. Eli and Leigh both had to find ways to trust their feelings and have faith in them. Eli was so willing to go out of his comfort zone to find a way to be with Leigh. Leigh was a bit frustrating at times because she kept running from a man that adores her and wanted to be with her. Both of them finally get on the same page and find a bond that is unbreakable. I loved the ending and how they introduce the characters for book 3.
Zeke is book two in the series Devil’s Flame MC by author Romi Hart. Let me tell you this one is intense!! It will keep you on your toes and fire up your senses. In this story the characters must learn some very important lesson about themselves- hopefully it’s enough - that they get their HEA. Enjoy!!
