Involuntary Pomp :: Love of The Big Man

When it comes to physical pain I am a wimp. I hope you will therefore forgive me a few poems of outrage, at the mosquito, in the middle of this collection, which otherwise is much of vacations and transportation.We were lucky enough to visit the Algarve, and the vast Alqueva Dam. It would not be possible to go to these places without the hope of a poem to return with.Reworking these poems, thirty months after the event, has allowed me to revisit many places and relive many memories.I hope I have given you enough words to begin to imagine these times and places, although I hope, rather more, that I have left space enough for you to wander about in your own mind, as you read.
