I have been waiting for Mr July since Mr January. I couldn’t wait for Mr July because July is my birthday month and it is now my favourite of the series. I read this book in a few hours because I couldn’t put it down. The story between the Champ and Pinky just made my heart explode. The love that they have for each other, even though it was forbidden, was just too great for words. The fact that the author had to throw in a special treat just made it all that more addictive. I loved all the characters in this book and hope there is a spin off with Justin and Juliet..... fingers crossed Nicole.
Hudson “the horror” is an undefeated MMA champ with nothing but winning and fighting on his mind until a certain pink haired beauty catches his eye. Ramsey would rather stay far away from the fighting world even though her life pretty much revolves around it. The connection between these two is instant and strong and the way their relationship falls into place is nothing less than perfect.

Mr July was another amazing read by Nicole Goodin! Absolutely loved Hudson The Champ and Ramsey Pinky they are perfection! If you haven't read this series you must so worth the read! Can't wait for Mr August!

Nicole has done it again! Every time I read one of the Calendar Boys books I think there is no way she can top what she has already done, but this one definitely became one of my favorites! I love Hudson and Ramsey and thought their chemistry was amazing. This book definitely had me hooked from the start and dying to know how things were going to work out with the two of them. With them having such an intense attraction to each other, but with Ramsey's brother telling Hudson she was off limits I knew they were in for a bumpy road.

This was an okay read with several tropes/plot points going on. There's sports romance, brother's best friend, slight age gap, forbidden romance, misunderstanding/miscommunication, and a spoiler one
The one sex scene is fade to black, so it's not very steamy. I did like that the characters got to know each other as friends before hooking up, that's a nice change. Something that made me mad was that Ramsey's brother Justin was insistent that Hudson not get with his sister, yet Justin was hooking up with Ramsey's best friend! How is one okay but not the other? What a stupid double standard and no one ever calls him on it! Ugh.
It had a kind of cute ending, but it was a bit too cliché for me.

🔥🔥🔥Mr Sexy MMA, I mean, Mr July 🔥🔥🔥
How is it that Nicole Goodin can once again create a book that is going to have readers clamouring for her heroes. This month’s Mister is a sexy MMA Pro fighter, and his story fits firmly in the brother’s best friend trope. It is Hudson ‘The Horror’ Scott who has captured my fancy, but not for myself. Ramsey Ashton is my choice of partner for him. Ms. Goodin chose well.
She is a physiotherapist and hasn’t long been home, and with her father and brother in the world of MMA, she is their first choice for Hudson to be seeing to recover from a title winning fight. From the moment that their eyes meet, their story captured my interest.
Just when I thought Nicole Goodin’s writing was at her best, she has again come up with another book with even more intensity and chemistry between the characters. I loved Ramsey’s description of Hudson, and it was hard to keep cool when reading about his physical attributes and thinking how lucky she was to get her tongue onto that gorgeous specimen of a man.
So when their relationship went through some pretty intense moments, it was all I could do to not skim ahead to see that it was all sorted out!

Mr July was always going to appeal to me being my Birthday month but I didn’t expect a total knockout with this one. Hudson is a MMA fighter who is never distracted, he only has eyes on his opponent, that is until the pink haired girl catches his eye. Ramsey is instantly attracted to Hudson however the fact that he is her brother’s best friend means that they are off limits to each other. The chemistry between these two is like a choke hold they can’t get out of. As much as Hudson “The Horror” was born to fight, the love that is brewing for Ramsey might be one that he will not be able to challenge. As secrets, misunderstandings and hearts are all tangled up, fighting for their future might be the ultimate win. A steamy best friend’s sister romance that will not have you tapping out before the end.

I swear this series just gets better with each book.
Hudson is a MMA fighter who ends up falling for his best friends sister. He’s also the champ and his nickname Horror fits him perfect.
Ramsey, is a physical therapist who happened to work on Hudson’s injuries after his last fight. She’s down to earth but is also afraid of blood.
What more can you ask for form a sexy fighter and a forbidding romance? These two have an instant chemistry and they have a hard time just trying to be friends. The side characters are also great. Justin and Juliet, they definitely need their own story that’s for sure.
Mr.July is another favorite of mine. Well done Nicole!

What a joy this book was to read!
Hudson "The Horror" Scott is the MMA Champ. While in the ring he spots a girl with pink hair. Ramsay Ashton, a physical therapist - who can't stand the sight of blood - so this is a match made in heaven!
Pinky as Hudson calls her, is also his best friend's sister - so she's off limits. But as they're thrown together post-fight, a beautiful attraction begins and develops into something a little bit "more".
Beautifully written with all the feels. This series is fabulous reading!

This was an enjoyable read. This one was a best friends sister romance. Hudson is a MMA fighter and so is Ramsey's brother. Which of course is how they met. It was instant love between them. However, they had to keep it quiet because her brother would lose it. Which is exactly what happened when he found out. Thankfully after he blew some steam things were okay with everyone and they got their HEA.

Ramsey is a physiotherapist with a brother and father heavily involved in the MMA world. She is sweet with a bit of sass. She also faints at the sight of blood. Hudson is the top welter weight MMA fighter. His stage name is Horror. the name fools everyone except Ramsey. He is tough in the ring but sweet with her. He is also her brother's best friends. it's a line they are not eager to cross. a quick misunderstanding causes some strife. However, love and life have the final say. The story is cute, sweet and sexy. You will love Hudson.

Thoughts: I have to say, this is the most excited I’ve been about a book in a good long while. I had never heard of the author, never read a book by her or any of the previous books in this series, nothing. I was a late sign-up for the blog tour, having just spontaneously decided to look through the events available. Mr. July sounded right up my alley – MMA, best friends little sister, forbidden love – some of my favorite book troupes wrapped up in one. And I wound up falling in love with this book.
There are a lot of good authors that have good writing skills and write great books – but few and far between are the ones that pull you into the story in such a way that you feel the emotions of the characters. And that’s my kryptonite right there. I love feeling the emotions of the characters. I love getting so caught up in what they are feeling that I feel like part of the story. I love a book that can wring emotions out of me, be it tears or even laughter. And I hit the jackpot with this book. I am so glad I requested to read ALL the previous books in this series – because I think I’ve found a new author to add to my list! In fact, I can guarantee it since I’ve already devoured two more books in this series and I’m looking to binge read the rest!
Be still my beating heart – Hudson and Ramsey are one steaming hot couple and I love, love, LOVE it!
BTW, from reading a few books already, even though these are part of a series, they are each easily read as a stand-alone.

Hudson’s sole focus is his fighting and his training, leaving little time for other pleasures, including a woman, but when the pink haired stunner in the front row of his fight catches his eye, Hudson just can’t shake her image from his mind.
Ramsey Ashton drags herself to the MMA fights in order to support her family. Her family who live and breathe MMA and her brother Justin who trains fighters like the devastatingly hot Hudson Scott.
The only drawback for Ramsey is her aversion to blood and let’s face it, there’s always blood at an MMA fight.
When Hudson realises who the pink haired stunner from the fight is, namely his trainer and best mate Justin’s little sister, he’s got a serious situation to try and overcome. How can he date his best mates sister when he’s sworn to protect her like his own sister.

Lawd, Nicole S. Goodin was a new to me author until I started reading the Calendar Boys series, and I'm totally in LOVE! Hudson is a champion MMA fighter, and Mr. July, who is never distracted until he spies a pink haired woman at one of his fights. By the time the fight is over, he loses her in the crowd, and is a bit disappointed, but luckily or unluckily for him, she comes back to where he's in an ice bath, as his best mate introduces him to his sister, the object of his new attraction. Ramsey, at first thinks Hudson is super hot, until she notices all the blood, and down she goes, as she simply can't do blood in any fashion, so how these two were going to make it work had me very entertained. Their chemistry was definitely off the charts, as Ramsey took over his care, and they spent time together as "friends" until that chemistry wouldn't be denied anymore, and it exploded spectacularly into them lighting the sheets on fire. However, in a HUGE twist, drama & angst followed behind, so you know, I was like WTH just happened?! Plus, they were keeping their sexy night under wraps from her brother, and you already know that secrets don't make friends. And that's all that I'm going to leave you with, as now it's on you to find out how it all pans out by one clicking! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

OMG I love this one! The sexy MMA fighter and his best friend’s sister. You just know it’s going to be steamy!
They call him the Horror because he’s a force to be reckoned with in the cage. People are scared of him, and rightfully so; he holds two title belts and is undefeated. But underneath that tough exterior, Hudson is the guy you can’t help but fall in love with.
Ramsey can’t stand the sight of blood. She can’t bear hearing the sound of flesh beating flesh to submission. So ringside of an MMA fight is the last place she should be, except when her big brother is the coach of one of the hottest fighters in the world.
There’s nothing more tempting than forbidden fruit, and Hudson knows his best friend’s sister is top of that list. But there’s something about the girl with the pink hair that drives him to distraction.
I loved this story! I especially loved the side characters – Justin (the big brother), and Juliet (the house mate). These two deserve their own story – just saying 😉

Nicole Goodin, you have got me again. I am still salivating over Mr June, and now I am drooling over Mr July.
As I read this book and was introduced to Hudson. He is hot as all get out with the body of all bodies, I felt as though I was actually in the book, touching his body from head to toe. What I like is the fact that although it wasn't full of sexual encounters every other chapter or so, it had substance. It had you happy, sad and some points even mad. That is what makes Mr Goodins books great, they not only give you the Love, Lust and warm feels, they also give you substance and a storyline you will remember.
Hudson is the man on the fighting scene, but when he meets Ramsey is he going to have to fight for more than his career? Can they get pass the one big elephant in the picture and make it in the end? Dont hesitate to find out.
Once again I am thoroughly impressed and I can only imagine what Mr August has to offer. If you want hottness every month then make sure you grab each book from Mr January to Mr July.

Left alone to recover from the fight while Justin gets his sister that Hudson reminded him was back, he didn’t expect her to be the pink haired gorgeous girl or for her to pale when seeing him, only to faint in Justin’s arms, with Justin forgetting she can’t stand the sight of blood.
Ramsey can’t believe she fainted in front of the sexy MMA fighter, but he wants her to meet Hudson, she’s sure he’s off limits being her brother’s best friend. Asking about his injuries, she mentioned that she was a physio, and her brother tells Hudson to see her in a few days.
Hudson has to remind himself she’s his friend’s sister and off limits, Justin even told him that it’s his job as well to look out for her, but seeing her walking into the party, she’s not the innocent little sister he’s heard about and she’s tempting, the thing she’s going to need protecting from is him.
They keep dancing around each other, with a chemistry that everyone can see, will they finally forget about everyone else and worry about what they want.

Hudson has to remind himself she’s his friend’s sister and off limits, Justin even told him that it’s his job as well to look out for her, but seeing her walking into the party, she’s not the innocent little sister he’s heard about and she’s tempting, the thing she’s going to need protecting from is him.
They keep dancing around each other, with a chemistry that everyone can see, will they finally forget about everyone else and worry about what they want.

Love me Mr. July - strong and tender

Well I have to say right away that Mr. July is the first book in the Calendar Boys series that I have read. I have definitely been missing out on all the other months of men if their stories are as good as Hudson's is.
The whole best friends little sister premise works well with these characters. Especially when they can't deny the attraction and fire alarm chemistry between them. But as always the best friend / older brother relationship will always get in the way, or at least it does until it just does not matter any longer what he thinks or does.
I liked the character of Ramsey as she shows her vulnerability (queasy when there is blood) and her strengths. She definitely has a backbone but can be supple enough so it does not break.
The story is sweet, sexy and filled with heart. I really enjoyed reading about Hudson and Ramsey and look forward to reading the other stories in this series.

Fighting the Horror
Nicole Goodin, you have got me again. I am still salivating over Mr June, and now I am drooling over Mr July.
As I read this book and was introduced to Hudson. He is hot as all get out with the body of all bodies, I felt as though I was actually in the book, touching his body from head to toe. What I like is the fact that although it wasn't full of sexual encounters every other chapter or so, it had substance. It had you happy, sad and some points even mad. That is what makes Mr Goodins books great, they not only give you the Love, Lust and warm feels, they also give you substance and a storyline you will remember.
Hudson is the man on the fighting scene, but when he meets Ramsey is he going to have to fight for more than his career? Can they get pass the one big elephant in the picture and make it in the end? Dont hesitate to find out.
Once again I am thoroughly impressed and I can only imagine what Mr August has to offer. If you want hottness every month then make sure you grab each book from Mr January to Mr July.

I loved Hudson and Ramsey. I completely devoured this book in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down.
Hudson always has his focus on his match and his opponent, that is until a pink haired beauty grabs his attention. He wants to know who this girl is, he wants to see her again. The girl? Well, she just happens to be his best friends little sister and completely off limits.
Hudson and Ramsey had instant chemistry, they were both completely drawn to each other from the very beginning, even though they both knew that she shouldn’t cross the line into something more. I loved the friendship that they had developed throughout the story, but when they finally gave in to each other it was HOT.
This was steamy (in multiple ways), it was sweet, there was some witty banter and overall just a fun best friends little sister sports romance.
With each month this series gets better and better and I love each book more and more. These are the perfect reads for any time of year.

The Calendar Boys are like freaking cat nip for me, I am 100% addicted. I want to thank the author and GMB for providing me a free copy so that I can see how awesome this series is. I love how there is just a tiny thing that combines all of the books together, but in a great way.
I don't know how Nicole is cranking out these books so freaking fast that are so completely different, but all are full of so much heart and chemistry. This book is right on par with that trend and I freaking loved it. Hudson and Ramsey are perfect for each other, but her brother is fiercely protective of her and he happens to be one of Hudson's best friends (even though he is a little hypocritical....).
This is not just your typical brother's best friend romance, there are a few twists and turns that you would not expect. All in all, if you are looking for a sweet but super hot read with a great story line, I totally recommend checking out this book!

Phew! Mr. July had angst to spare. I read the book in a single day and I spent the day on the edge of my seat! I don’t know how I’ll sleep tonight!
Hudson is tough, both physically and mentally, exactly what you would expect of a champion MMA fighter. He’s also a loyal friend and does charity work, both of which score big points with me. One look at Ramsey and MMA isn’t his only interest any more.
Ramsey is gentle and caring, the seeming opposite of Hudson. She’s very sensitive and faints at the sight of blood. It’s difficult to imagine her being part of a family of MMA fighters!
The plot was spellbinding and fast paced. I’m not a fan of sports romances, but this book gripped me and wouldn’t let me go! Once again, the author has knocked me out with her writing (pun intended)!

Enjoyed the story but seems a little predictable. I was hoping a MMA fighter named 'Horror' would live up to his name lol but he's a little on the soft side.
Ramsey is talked into going to watch a fight and the fighter 'Horror' sees her and is so smitten with her. He can't forget about her. He gets injured and she ends up being his physiotherapist. They get to know each other and end up having feelings for each other but there is a problem. Ramsey is off limits. I would definitely read more from this author. I love these MMA fighter romances.

Hudson is a famous MMA fighter and when he needs to been treated for some muscle strain before a big title fight its Ramsey he's brought to. Ramsey is Hudson's best friend's sister. Sparks fly between them when they first meet and continue every minute they are together. No matter how hard they try they can't fight their attraction and end up giving in. Ramsey tries to watch him fight but one spot of blood and down she goes. There are some miscommunications that causes some problems between them especially with her brother. Will they get a chance at their happy ever after?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ramsey's brother is a MMA trainer. She goes and watches one of his fighters, Hudson 'The Horror'. Hudson sees her from the cage and has no idea who she is, only that he wants to get to know her. When her brother brings her back to the locker room, he finds out she's even more beautiful up close, but also as his best friend's sister, completely off-limits. They start spending time together as she is a physio and working to make him whole again after his last fight. They both want each other but know they can't cross that line....or can they? I loved this new "Calendar Boys" story with the incredibly athletic and hot MMA Fighter. This story is well written and extremely captivating. It hooked from the beginning when he sees the beautiful girl with the pink hair. After the fight he is in ice in the locker room when Justin, his best friend, brings in his sister. Ramsey, just so happens to be the beauty with the pink hair. Unfortunately, as soon as she sees Hudson she passes out because he is bleeding. What an introduction! These two are instant attraction but fight it because she's his best friends little sister. This is a fun story with some drama, emotions, twist, turns, great banter, passion and steam. Great story and wonderful characters!! Bring on Mr. August! I am loving these "Calendar Boys"!!!!!
