Keto is real, this book is not
While there MIGHT be some useful information in this book, they've DEFINITELY, gotten so much wrong I wouldn't trust it.

I have successfully used the keto diet before, and was looking for some additional books, mostly for more recipes.

This book though, is worthless. Someone pasted together a bunch of information, some correct, some completely wrong: the author claimed you should AVOID MILK AS a HIGH CARB FOOD!! They even digress into blood cholesterol levels, which aren't necessary important to the keto diet, and they got HDL & LDL confused (not knowing which one was the 'bad' cholesterol)!

Also, much information is missing, or not usable. For examples: shopping lists that were missing entirely, to a "weekly" shopping list that simply added up the basic ingredients of one meal plan, with NO relation to how groceries are bought!! Example: 1/2 bag shredded cabbage (a 1/2 cabbage you can get, but that isn't what is written)

Finally, the recipes section is an absolute joke. Recipes listed are incomplete in many cases and useless, in that they are first set in different quantities for each recipe, serving anywhere from 2 to 8 persons. Standard for a diet would be to give recipes that serve 2 portions (eat one, save one), and you can multiply if needed.

Good ideas but poor instructions and proofreading.

I have the electronic version. There are several good ideas in this book; however, the instructions are often incomplete. Some recipes refer to ingredients within the instructions that are not listed. Much better proofreading & testing would have greatly improved this book.

Not a good collection of recipes

The intro to the Lego diet was informative but the recipes are poorly written. Ingredients in the instructions are not listed for ingredients. Some ingredients are not keto (lemon pound cake?). Some of the recipes look quite good, though, and easy to make,

Poor organization and Incomplete recipes

The book is terrible for beginners. The recipes are not organized at all. The table of contents has no divisions. The recipes do not include all the ingredients in the ingredient list, which makes planning a problem. I would not recommend this book

I loved all the info that books provided. It was easy to read and the recipes look simple enough that I could even make them. No fancy ingredients that I cant afford. I'm looking forward to trying these out.

There are a lot of typos and confusing information in this book. A lot of recipes included are higher in protein than in fats which does not agree with the Keto mantra of 75% fat versus 20% protein.

Good basic ketogenic intro.

Could not find the amounts for the ingredients listed for the Buns in the grilled ham and cheese. The ingredients were listed, but not the amounts.

Comprehensive and look good recipes

Looks like doable recipes
Good information
Wish they’d suggest where to get some items like ‘swerve’—I’ve never heard of it:

EGG'S, it's what's for breakfast!

I found some of the recipes contradicting. Also I wished the recipes were made for just one person. A concern that I have is it really good for you to eat that many eggs? Just one month is about 60 eggs, as most breakfast menus call for two eggs of some sort.
