I feel like I repeat myself all the time when writing reviews for this series but I can't help it these books are the best and this series is fantastic.
Sandalphon is the most mediocre archangel there is. He is not the handsomest, smartest, or strongest. He has the fewest fans but he is also a spirit guide. He has watched over a young girl and when she dies he pulls in a favor and asks Amber head of the spirit school to let him go undercover as her teacher.
I love Sandalphon who doesn't think much of himself and is already half in love with his charge before the story begins. He is sweet, funny, sexy without the pompous attitude and is simply a really nice guy. Mikayla is sweet, fun, loves teasing and is compassionate.
I love the story line and the fact that Mikayla becomes friends with the girls from the first two books and we get a glimpse of how they all are doing.
A really wonderful book in an amazing series. I can't wait to read more and I hope this is one of those series that never ends.

awesome!
Okay, I feel like I'm on repeat, as I keep saying I love the characters in this series. The sentiment totally rings true for me with Sandalphon - that he is so humble and low-key for an Archangel was really lovable. His sweet personality and gentle humor were also super endearing. And Mikey's vibrance and brightness, along with her humility made her an easy to love character, as well.
All-in-all, I'm thoroughly impressed with the characters, world-building and storylines of each book I read in this series and I'm greatly looking forward to the next one!

Charming as always
This book is my least favorite so far because I tend to loose patience reading pages of insecurity. That said I really enjoy the series. I will be purchasing the next book too. This is a love!y story ... Just a bit ?omg on the neurosis.

To be quite honest, I was a little hesitant to read this one. Sandalphone is described in the earlier books as being pitiful and uninteresting, so I assumed I'd be reading a sob story. But boy, was I wrong!
Aron Lewes can't write a bad book... I repeat, they literally cannot write a bad book. It astounds me how well-developed the stories are. They evoke empathy, joy, and bring about tears.
This book is worth reading. Alyx, who is still my favorite character, makes an appearance. Even Jophiel appears to be pleasant.

This 5th book in the Spirit School series is about archangel Sandalphon, who feels so inferior to his colleagues, the rest of the archangels, who are always beset by fans, whilst he is totally ignored by their side. However though he thinks he is not as handsome, strong or a good warrior love is blind as is proven when his human, who he has been guiding for many years dies. He has been caring for her for a long time and his feelings have grown towards her, so much so that he is ready to break some rules. He goes undercover, and takes on the role of an instructor to Mikayla, getting angel Amber to lie for him. Mikayla thinks he is the best instructor ever even though most of the time she hardly listens to what he says. I found her to be quite irritating at times, and quite empty headed, but at least she cares for others, so does really well in passing all her five tests. As I said love is obviously very blind, and these two seem to have a bond literally made in heaven for them. I must admit that I did not enjoy this book as much as the previous ones but I think it is more because of the main characters than the story. The help they give as guides is excellent as usual, and I particularly enjoyed the one about finding a cat for a woman in need, as I love cats.

Aron just manages to make the perfect books in few pages! Love Sander and Mikey so much and how the story is told! Always great books and I just hope he continues to do amazing stories for us

I liked it!
One of the best in the series . Simplistic but left smiling and satisfied! The characters were more believable - I like it when the underdog wins:)

Bit slow than others but still part of a great series. Keep it coming. Authors got a great genre going
