Irreverent is the second book in a continuous dystopian series. Mallory has given up the lie of her life and now is living with the rebels. Everything should be better now she is free but he is questioning everything including Cristan. Secrets and danger keep her world on a tilt.

Cristan wants to save his brother but doesn't want to become part of a greater war. He's juggling too many pieces and risking his connection with Mallory. This is one ride not to be missed.

I've read a few books by this author and I'd happily read anything she writes. An enjoyable read.

This story was excellent. A fantastic sequel that continued to blow me away in its power and “relevance.” Hehe!

Truly, once again, I was deeply moved by the way Mallory views life. I can’t pinpoint one set thing or event because it simply stirred me. She inspired me to want to be thankful for color and appreciate the chance to be bold for the people I love.

And Cristian.

He surely can pull some heartstrings (and I don’t mean just to cry)! I absolutely loved his growth and his dedication, though I’m fairly sure my heart broke from learning his secrets. I just...I can’t even. I really really really hope things get better and he gets a happy ending.

This dystopian trilogy continues to be unique and a stand out edition in this genre with beautiful characters, a super intriguing plot, and inspiration to embrace our inner selves as well as others. I’m already desperately needing book three!

This is book 2 in the Irrelevant series. Mallory and Cristan did not dissappoint. Some of my questions from book 1 were answered, more indepth character histories and meeting additional characters moved this plot along and I was quite sad when I got to the last page! Now I have new questions/theories about how this story will conclude, but I do not want to ruin the suprise if you haven't read book 1.

>Book Review – Irreverent
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Relevance series and ends in a cliffhanger. Cristan and Mallory escape the pod and run further than Cristan has ever been. They find another group of irrelevants that are way more self-sufficient. Secrets regarding the government control over the pods and personal secrets regarding Cristan are revealed. A resistance is started, forcing Cristan to participate. Mallory finally shows some backbone and proves she comes through under pressure.
>The romantic tension between Cristan and Mallory is really sweet. Even though both characters are fairly innocent, they know their own minds and really fall for the other. The creativity of the outlanders and how they adapt technology to their situation is really interesting to read. The pull between Mallory and Cristan drives the story. This book is appropriate for a young adult (16+) audience. I am giving this book 4 stars.

Strong character development continues to unfold in Irreverent. In particular, the backstory about Cristan adds more in-depth layers to who he is, his passion and struggle and what motivates him. You can’t help but feel your heart break as his did while at the same time find yourself drawn in by his strength and courage. The writer does a wonderful job of filling in the suspenseful gaps from the first novel about Cristan and with Mallory too. My appreciation for Mallory and her astonishing sensitivity for beauty also grew even more.

This book was another page turner with wonderful pacing and more revealed about just how awful the New City is.

If you loved the first novel, you’ll love this one too. I can’t wait for the release of third book!

The Relevance Series is fast-paced with a nice amount of romance.
Mallory and Cristan joined the rebels but those are keeping secrets from them and the government is taking the next steps to control the Irrelevant. It is heart-breaking to read about the unfairness of it all like the genetic experiments or the manipulation through food and meds. Mallory showed her strong side and Cristan is heart. They are begin to trust each other more and develop a strong relationship. Even so, everything is happening in some days, so there is never a quiet moment. The situation between the Relevant and Irrelevant is coming to a breaking point and the end is still unclear.

Ahhh that ending! Need book three XD
I was hoping to do a proper review of this, but honestly, I'm not sure I can XD
It was really really good. I still think the first book will remain my favorite, but oh my goodness was this second one riveting too. This is not my usual genre, but I couldn't put this book down. I loved getting to be around Mallory and Cristan again. There is so much action in this one.
Yes, as far as content warning goes, there were some mature-themed moments, and swear words used, but I was able to overlook that because this story is so much more than that.
So excited to get my hands on book three.

Inclusion

That seems to be the main theme of these books. That everyone is different but everyone deserves to be treated fairly and with kindness. That seeing things differently can actually be an advantage. Its an importanr message, not just about autistic people but about accepting everyone as they are and not trying to force them to be somebody else. These are good books with real emotion and engaging characters

Excellent!

I love this story and I so appreciate you writing and passion for those who are different and who appear weaker than those around them. We can't see what's going on inside a person and have learned to not judge until I've heard their story. This story is such and exciting way to see what happens when we try to put people in a box!

I liked Book 1, this one not so much. It took me a while to work out why. The secondary characters were unlikeable and driving the story. Cristan and Mallory made no decisions for themselves. Everything they did, they were manipulated into doing. Also the book didn't even attempt an ending, stopping in the middle of a scene.

Fell really short

Nothing happened in this book. I mean I was waiting but no. I mean of course there was some stuff at the end but overall nope. Maybe I just had too high of hopes?

The story continues

These books are not stand alone books, but really just the continuation of the same book. I hate that. However, I liked the first book enough to purchase the next two installments.

This book left more questions than answers. I hope there is a definitive end to the series and it gets tied up well.

Misleading

The female character remains useless. In no way has her “disability” helped so far. Will not continue to read the series.

I dunno about this series...I finally finished book 2, which did pick up the last 25%, but I'm not running out to finish the trilogy...to much like Divergent but not as interesting.

This book was good

The entire series is so good. I loved it so much. Mallory and Cristan just got perfectly together, and I love their relationship. They respect each other and balance each other out. I read these on kindle but plan on buying all three for my personal collection.

Intense

The suspense that keeps builing intensity in this book is captivating. Mallory and Cristan are now involved in the Rebellion. However, Cristan is captured and is in the medical facility with Dr. Derek Trainor. He is waiting for the opportunity to escape. Mallory, Kit, Trey, and Jackson are trying to reach the Unit where Drew is as the G men close in. Jackson is wounded severely, leaving Mallory and Trey to reach the unit. As Trey draws the G men away, Mallory is able to reach Drew. However, Mike still thinks everything is Mallory's fault.
Meanwhile the Prime Minisiter (Cristan's father) enters the medical unit. He tells Derek to start the test. Cristan vows he will kill his father. Unbeknownst to the people in the room, Cristan has made an ally.

There are some intense parts that will get the pulse going , that’s for sure.
No spoilers from me but suffice to say you don’t want to miss these books.
You won’t be disappointed. Bring on book 3.
