Wood nymphs, hell hounds, an evil villain, oh my!! Hold onto your seat, and your hat because Ms. Atkinson takes you on a heart-pounding, riveting and terrifying ride as Skye prepares the town for the war for freedom against Hunter Wolfe. Hunter has taken over most of the world through terror and intimidation and he's hell bent on destroying Skye and New Denver. Skye carries the legendary sword Excalibur, but will it be enough to defeat Hunter's horde? Events are spiraling out of control, the forest has come alive and is attacking anyone who comes near, a hell hound is stalking Skye and the nymph Queen of the Forest is demanding a blood oath from Syke. What's a girl to do?
I've said it before, Ms. Atkinson is a master storyteller drawing the reader in and then taking them on a roller coaster of terrifying emotions. I read this story in a day--it was that good, I couldn't put it down. Just when you think you've figured out what's going on, a surprising new twist is thrown into the mix. All I can say is WOW! If you're looking for a series to knock your socks off, be sure to pick this one up! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I love this world the author has built!
Skye seems to always be at odds with life lately. The townsfolk still hold her in high esteem. They are sure she will be able to rescue them from Hunter and his crew. Word has spread about Skye and people are flocking from all over, but are they friend of foe? Did I mention there are wood nymphs? Ms. Atkinson has taken me on the most magnificent adventure with this series. I am utterly devastated to think this might be the end. There are a wealth of possibilities waiting to be explored with these characters. Please write more in the series lol

How do you kill someone that is already dead, impossible? With a Hell Bound waiting for the Excalibur holder to die. Wow! Excitement abound with normal people fighting to stay alive with whatever they could find. Skye Shadow had a big job ahead of her, keeping the town safe from Hunter and he wanted her dead. Exceptional twist and turns with this story. The end of a great series and a have to read! Loved the characters and storyline.

An intensely thrilling conclusion to this imaginative dystopian retelling of the Arthurian legend. Twist after twist, evolves in a heart stopping tale of strength and sacrifice. I really loved this story of Skye.

What a fantastic ending to a great, adventurous trilogy. Skye's story is a unique and captivating telling of strength and fortitude, intermingled with engaging and vivid details
