Rafe Chambers is a monster, rival club's Vice President, and my brother's worst nightmare...but he's also hot as hell.
The second he laid eyes on me, I knew he was trouble.
But what I wasn't expecting was that one night at the bar to become the worst one of my life.
First, he charmed me. Then, he kidnapped me.
Hell, I thought he was going to kill me and take his revenge for my brother's sins against him and his club.
But seems like he has other plans for me. He's made one thing clear with the way he touches me. He doesn't want me dead. On top of that, I hate that my body reacts to his touch way more than I'd like.
My captor saved me that night from the prison I was in, but he didn't realize that doing so was a fatal mistake.
That's because in my brother's club, betrayal means death. And in my psycho brother's mind, I've done just that, and that too with his worst enemy.
To make things worse, Rafe claimed me and says I belong to him now.

A good MC book. The first in a new series. This is Rafe and Kira's story. Rafe is the VP of the Devil's Flame and Kira is the sister of the president of the Diamond Kings MC. Rafe hates her brother so much for killing his sister. She hates her brother for another reason (not telling you... find out yourself...lol). Rafe plans to kidnap her and make her brother come to him to save her. They meet in a bar and no kidnapping needed. He doesn't trust her but yet can't keep his hands off her. She feels the same way. Can two unlikely please find peace of mind with each other? I mean they both come from two different MC's. Who all ends up dead when everything explodes?
After rolling my eyes for like the 800th time I figured I probably should stop wasting my time. I really don’t know why everyone keeps saying this was “well written “ did we read the same book? 🧐🧐 There was no character depth or anything. The female lead was so freaking annoying. She started off cool and seemingly badass and then she became this sex crazed monster. Like can’t get enough, let’s fight so we can f**k, I can’t stop jumping on top of you type of crazy. So after they hook up a few times over a one to two day period there’s just “oh my a sense of just something more” the male lead was all like “oh it’s so much more than sex she keeps my nightmares away I miss sleeping next to her (after spending one night maybe two tops sleeping together??)...” blah blah blah really🙄?? So let me get this straight, after a 48 hour period where you shagged you feel this extreme emotional bond that transcends sex? I literally can’t with this crap 🤣🤣🤣. Then he goes off on a ride and she’s all anxious and worried because she cares so much for him when again, she’s only known him two days?? This was all so unbelievable junk.
Rafe (Devil’s Flames MC Book 1) by Romi Hart might just be some of her best writing yet, in this humble reader’s opinion anyway. This first book in the Devil’s Flames MC series is a really great start and introduction to a group of MC bad boys determined to remain bachelors until fate throws their match into their path. Rafe, the first book and character is a bad boy on the surface but full of heart beneath all the blustering. Kira is the perfect match for Rafe and first heroine for this series, a tough woman with plenty of heart herself. I really enjoyed the plot of this first book, introducing this MC’s lifestyle and mission as well as many characters I hope to learn more about in other books. There’s some action and suspense as well as the steamy chemistry one would expect from an MC bad boy and raw sexy appeal. Overall, a very well written MC romance that promises more to come and provides the reader with an HEA for these characters who truly deserve all good things. I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
I was lucky enough to get to Beta read this book and I absolutely loved it and fell in love with these characters!
I am a huge MC romance fan and this book has everything I love I'm one, it's instalovey, involves revenge, has a great balance between the romance plot and the MC business.
This story was so well written and flows so well I read this all in one sitting and got no sleep because I couldn't put it down.
Rafe is go out typical sexy macho biker who is out for revenge and kira is a strong independent woman who I love, I'm so glad this book is done as a. Duel POv.
The side characters in this book are excellent and.as soon as I was done i wanted their stories.
This is by far my favourite book by romi Hart and I can't wait for the rest of these.
This was an enjoyable read. Rafe is hell bent on getting revenge. He meets up with a woman named Kira. The good news is that he hates his enemy too. The problem is that their shared enemy is her brother. Together they not only fall in love but they get their revenge.
Rafe and his MC had chosen the wrong caravan to follow so the illegal guns the Diamond Kings were smuggling in had gotten away from them. Rafe didn’t want the guns. He wanted to draw Jake Hawthorne, pres of the Diamond Kings, out of his hiding place that he had “crawled into” when he shot Rachel, Rafe’s sister, so many years ago.
Zeke finds out on a run that Jake has a sister he is overprotective of. She doesn’t much care about him and looks for ways to piss him off. She at the Wicked thorn almost every night. If the Devil’s could get her, either voluntarily or by force, then they could offer her for something from Jake.

This is a great read by Romi Hart,,,, I actually got an ARC of 3 of her MC reads,,,,, this one is about Rafe ,,,,
Rafe is the VP of the Devil's Flame MC ,,,, he is underneath the president, Corey,,,, at one time, Rafe was in another group called The Diamond King's until he was kicked out by Prez Jake Hawthorne ,,,, The Devil's Flame MC picked him up, gave him a chance and haven't once looked back,,,, now Rafe is out to get Jake because he feels like Jake killed Rafe's sister, Rachael ,,,, his devious plan calls for an eye for an eye ,,,, Rafe finds out where and when Jake's sister, Kira will be and him and a couple other boys ride to the club she will be in and kidnap her,,,, but what starts as a revenge kidnapping, quickly grows into something else as Kira Hawthorne thinks Rafe is cute and someone she wants to get to know better and it more surprises Rafe when Kira wants as much done to her brother Jake then Rafe had planned to do,,,, now what was he going to do,,,,???!,,,
This is the 1st book of the Devil's Flame MC series,,,,, with books 2 & 3 being Zeke and Eli,,,, I got this book in a boxed set from the author ,,, I totally enjoyed all 3 books and am ready for more,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,,!!!
I got this ARC voluntarily to do an honest review,,,..
Rafe is the VP of the Devil's Flame Motorcycle Club, Kira is the sister of the President of the rival MC, Diamond Kings. What starts as Rafe using her as a means to an end quickly develops into much more. While Rafe wants to enact revenge on the President of the DK MC, Kira also has her own score to settle with her brother, "...the two of them had similar tragedy and mutual trauma". Shared end goals allows the two to go from using each other, to helping each other, to loving each other.
This is the first book from Romi Hart that I have read. I found the writing style good. The story was engaging, not too graphic (for sex or violence), and an easy enjoyable read. I would like to have seen a little more in terms of world building. For example, what do the DFMC members do as a whole? The story centers around them only being focused on this revenge scheme. More details will possibly come out in Devil's Flame MC Book 2.
Speaking of Book 2, I would have preferred an epilogue to Book 1 instead of the multi-chapter preview to Book 2 that was given at the end of the book. That is just personal preference of course. Overall I enjoyed the book and will definitely add Book 2 to my list of books to read.

Hotter Than That Devil's Flame Rafe. Holy mother of hot wheels, this guy's really got it goin' on. He's like a supercharged hunk of bronze, drawing Kira in like neither one of them has any resistance to his super power. This is some smoldering stuff, here--with some seriously bad timing. But love just won't be denied. Rafe and Kira might as well save their energy for more uhhhh.... exciting things than fighting off the rising passion they both feel.
This is pure MC romance in its highest form. There's sizzling passion, high energy emotions, danger, loyalty,, betrayal, violence, wit, intrigue, and occasional stupidity (yep, someone in the MC is always an idiot). The word of the day for this story is Revenge, as both Rafe and Kira seek to hand out justice "Club Style" on Kira's older brother, Jake while fighting the prejudices and misconceptions of some of Rafe's club brothers concerning Kira's true allegiance. Only time will tell where her heart really lies.
It was not my cup of tea. It was too quick and quite unbelievable. I decided to read it because I do like the MC world and on amazon it had a ton of 5 star reviews. But I tried but it didn't do it for me.
It’s not well written but I did enjoy it, a tiny bit.
So many spelling mistakes, and plot errors that it ruined it. I haven’t highlighted any as I was reading it in bed when I couldn’t sleep. I was trying to ignore all the mistakes so it didn’t wake me up (even more than I was.) correcting them.
Kira meets Rafe when they kidnap her to get information on her brother. Her brother is the president of a rival Mc, and does some horrific things, like human trafficking, drugs etc. Her brother is also the one that tortured and raped Rafes sister. It never really explains why her brother is so bad, as they were really close as kids, and he looked out for Kira as her elder brother.
Her brother keeps Kira virtually a prisoner and her life is hell, but that still doesn’t explain why she’s happy that they kidnapped her!!!! Some strange men kidnap her and she’s happy?? Ok…. Rafe holds a lot of anger inside after what happened to his sister and wants revenge. He’s prepared to do anything to get the information, apart from hurting an innocent.
Parts of the book are quite good, if you ignore all the spelling mistakes and plot holes. Word of warning ⚠️ Torture scenes are horrific!!! Probably not the book to read when you’re suffering insomnia like I was. 😂
Where do I even begin? Okay this book was by far the cringiest book I’ve ever read. It made me uncomfortable! For example the fmc said that she trusted the mc after knowing him two seconds and was shocked to be kidnapped by him cause she trusted him? And then 2 seconds later into the kidnapping she said she trusted him again wtf!! Then it gets better! You ready?! They say I love you in like a few days of knowing each other huh?! I won’t lie there are some triggers in this book. But there’s one thing I will say about books in regards to triggers is that I don’t feel like it’s necessary to go into detail of *spoiler* torture/ attempt rape it ruins a book but that’s my opinion. From that it kind of felt like to different authors one minute we’ve got this over the top cringe and then BANG you’re getting tortured. It was not expected at all I do think the author needs an editor cause even me who doesn’t care that much about spelling or whatever he kept on getting the genders wrong so I was getting confused as to whose pov I was reading and maybe to also try and make the book flow. It took me a looooong time to read this and IT DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN EPILOGUE! They’re my faves 😩😩Overall, it’s a no from me!
The Devil's Flame MC is not like your MC's. They are legit and stay away from any illegal activities. So lets meet Rafe. He has a lot of issues with an rival MC. Well the pres to that mc. Now he has been trying to draw this pres out for some time to no avail. Now he is given the opportunity and he goes with it, but there are stipulations. So what is the opportunity that he was given. Kira Hawthorne is, she is the sister to the pres of the rival mc. So he puts his plan in motion only he did not expect the hate she has for her brother and why she choose him to try to goad her brother. As these two are trying to use each other, they did not expect to catch feelings. Are those feelings enough for the Devils Flame to protect her through the war. You will definitely needs to read it to find out.
I've read loads of MC biker books. Truth be told, this was so much . Rafe and Kira have such chemistry that you are rooting for them all the way. When Rafe baby sister and boyfriend were murdered by Jake, the president, the Kings MC club, Rafe, swore that he would avenge them. His whole being ran on the burning rage to hunt down Jake Hawthorne ,the elusive ,invisible leader, and make him suffer to his demise slowly. Information came through to The Flames ,and Jake had a little sister called Kira. Kira Hawthorne was always surrounded by some guards. but that wasn't going to stop Rafe. The plan was to kidnap her to use as a pawn to bring her snake of a brother out of hiding. What Rafe didn't plan for was the woman herself. Well written,fast-paced without losing the heat or the colourful characters.
Rafe is looking for revenge for his sister and he thinks Jake is responsible. So he plans to do something to Jake's sister in retaliation. Rafe and a few of guys from the club go to where Kira is to kidnapped her. However she is nothing like Rafe thought she would be. Sparks fly between them and he reconsiders his plans for Kira. Will Rafe see that Kira is better for him than used as a pawn? Will Kira forgive him his devious motivations towards her?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
Not well thought out. Story has a good basis but really makes the characters out to be pretty dumb. For instance the main Character Rafe has been hunting the same man for 6 years and only finds out now that this man has a sister that can be used against him. They live in the same area and go to the same bars but in 6 years was never aware of this sister?? Fast forward to the sister and Rafe falling in love after Rafe kidnapped her and in trying to verify her back history it only takes a half an hour for the club to verify events that are 10 years old??? This is only 1 example. Author needs to put more thought into her story. Not believable unless you assume the main characters are idiots. Either way doesn’t make you want to read the rest of the series.

Kira, sister of the Diamond Kings MC Prez, takes Rafe, VP of Devil’s Flame MC, up on his offer to leave to upset her brother, not knowing that Rafe has his own agenda. As the story progresses secrets come out, pasts are shared, and trust is tested when tables are turned. This first book in Romi Hart’s Devil’s Flame MC series sets a high bar for the series to meet. The rough and tumble characters, the raw and dirty world, and the great story line have left me wanting to read more.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
A DELIGHTFUL ADVENTURE!!! A barrage of unforseen circumstances and vexing surprises push those conflicting emotions to life smoothly. This is one intriguing spin that leaves you breathless, craving more. Combating all the trials and tribulations along with a horde of twists and turns bring this baby together impeccably. Struggling through contention and hostilities, striving for peace and safety that seem untouchable. The characters are authentic and tangible with on point personalities that makes it easy to relate. The scenes are descriptive and graphic that flood each scenario with a colorful backdrop as they play out seamlessly. Fantastic job Romi, thanks for sharing.
Our characters. Rafe, member of the Devil’s Flame MC Kira, sister to the VP of an enemy MC.
The blurb sets the story up so there’s no need for me to add to it but what Rafe doesn’t count on is falling in love with Kira. Because however much he denied it to himself and everyone else Kira had gotten to him. She’d managed to somehow dig herself a place into his world in just a single night and it had Rafe reeling.
But as it turns out Kira’s seeking her own revenge against her brother. Do Rafe and Kira get their revenge and happily ever after? Of course they do.
Okay, I think that this book has a good skeleton, albeit predictable in some ways. However, Rafe and Kira fall into lust and then suddenly into love. Also, none of the characters are fleshed out enough for me to care about anyone. The book happens in maybe a weeks time. I didn’t find it to be believable that Kira hates her brother. She spent 10 years living a pseudo-prison life and pissed off her brother when she wanted to just because she was doing so out of spite? Also, since when can she use a gun so easily?
Again, the book had a good base but I wish the book had more character development.

I love to read different MC series and this was a good one for Romi Hart. I liked the conflict there was between the two main characters. Both were struggling with their past and seeking vengeance. I love how they finally had to discuss their pasts to find their future together. This also helped them find the vengeance the needed to move forward. The only thing I wasn’t excited about was how long it took to get to their pasts. It was danced around a lot at the beginning, but once it came out the storyline moved really quick. It was a great read.
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I really enjoyed most of the characters. All except Kira's brother. This book was well-written. This book was about revenge, compassion, and helping out your fellow man. I really enjoyed when Kira and Rafe got together but he was so determined that he wasn't going to fall in love with her. She was also determined that she wasn't going to fall in love with him as well. I really enjoyed this book. I recommend this book to all romance and MC lovers.
I read this the other day and really enjoyed it. A fun change of pace from all the sci-fi I've been reading lately. This was definitely dark, but not overly so. It felt appropriate for the MC genre. The romance itself was actually very light and quite wholesome, which it definitely needed to help with balance. I liked how much the MC felt like a family and not just a group of quirky and twisty characters all thrown together for plot. The dynamic was really nice to read. Overall fun, and romantic read but if hard topics like sexual assault, abuse etc are too much then I'd probably avoid.
Finally picked up the book and finished it after the last book that had me wondering if I should halt all reading for a while. The book was fun. I loved that the character dynamic was not forced but then felt a bit of a dragging to try and finish this one. Hooked from the pool scene but lost me somewhere along the lines of when she magically started to miss Rafe before they developed any form of a relationship. Fun read though.
This book had a food length to it but something about it was not holding my attention. The love story was to easy and quick. A lot of focus on the two main characters and not enough on the MC's or the antagonist. Would have like more depth, with what was going on with the antoginist to bring the story around. Also the sex scenes need a little more detail for, me as well as more passion. All in all a good book just needed more...
This book was a bit different then the usual biker books. Yes there are strong alphas , chauvinist pigs and hard core bikers but these bikers knew how to be gentlemen too. Rafe and Kira’s story is one of revenge. Rafe wanting Kira’s brother dead for murdering his sister and Kira wanting her brother dead for murdering her fiancé. Two peas in a pod and they work together to bring him down. Did I mention he’s a rival biker club president. It’s a good ride
