The premise of this story was interesting, if unrealistic (but its a romance novels so that comes with the territory). Where the plot falls short is the actual follow through. I didn't really feel for any of these characters, they were so concerned with making sure the 'bad guy' didn't get the house, they never actually communicated.

An exciting tale of love , betrayal and greed .
Deborah Jannvier and her mother have been forced to live with her unfeeling uncle since her father died . On arrival she meets a dying man who tells her that she is to inherit his estate as long as she is willing to marry Matthew . His will is changed to that effect . Deborah knows that if she agrees she can save her mother and her elderly maid from the clutches of her uncle , but this is an huge step to take . Is it one she can take ?

Mistress of Marymoor

One of the best books I have read for a while. It was recommended by my wife. Very well written with engaging characters. The plotline was excellent. I have always enjoyed historical books and this was better than most. Would recommend this author to anyone who enjoys a thrilling and satisfactory finish.

A fast moving tale of romance

Nothing drags in this story. Yes, it's been told before in many versions,but it's still exciting to read again. What's not to love - a handsome man, a pretty girl, danger, an evil villain, love, and a cast of supporting characters. Enjoy!
