Romance, because who doesn’t love a good romance, and the lack of reality in the story lines - because, well, normal is highly overrated. I’m 55, I have two kids, one 32 and one 12 (yes, God does have a sense of humor), one grandchild, one husband, and a menagerie of animals. Literally, too damn many things that eat wandering around our property. I love to cook, and I am a voracious reader, though since I started writing I don’t get as much time to read as I once did. I am a homebody and prefer my writing/reading time to a crowd. I have had stories and fictional characters wandering around in my head for as long as I can remember. I started letting them out into the real world and surprisingly, people have loved them. I am a Self-Published Author, and I like it that way because I can decide what and when to write. I am by no means a formal, polished, properly structured individual and neither are my stories. But people seem to love the easy emotion and passion that naturally flow from them. A bit of a warning though, there are some “triggers” in them that certain people should avoid. I’m a firm believer that you cannot have light without the dark. You cannot fully embrace the joy and elation that my people eventually find if you do not bear witness to their darkest hours as well. So please be sure to read the warnings supplied with each of the synopses about my books before you buy them. I've got three series published at this time, Avaleigh's Boys - PNR, Whispers From the Bayou - Fantasy PNR, Haven - a SciFi, and three more in process. I’m a bit sarcastic, scathing actually, and a smartass to boot, so if I offend you, it is most likely not intentional. But be prepared because it probably won’t be the last time. I’m always glad to hear from readers; those who have followed me from the beginning, and those who have just found my people. Once again it is time to visit where paranormal creatures of all kinds make their home in The whispers of the bayou! Where love,family,friendship and love abound. The characters all have stories to tell and each one is intriguing and all their own. In this world their are gargoyles,witches,vampires,ancients,dragons,and so many others who's stories are begging to be told. As one by one find their mates. In this new book Enthrall the leader of these supernaturals has found his one,but first he must let felicity fall in love with the man before she finds out he's a vampire,he is afraid she will think of him as a monster and leave and he cannot let that happen.He has waited a lifetime for his one. I loved This book so much! Enthrall's back story answered so many questions about who he was and what he became.I've loved him from the beginning and I'm so happy he got his happily ever after,it was well deserved!! It was also a look at some of my other favorites from this fabulous series,from my main love carnage who so happy with his mate carolena and his very specially gifted daughter Lily who has a important role to play in this story as well as Carrik the Dragon who's spirt is waiting to be released from the Dragon tree. Then theirs my other fave gargoyle the beautiful destroy,yes that's how he wants to be thought of as and his mate the witch rowan. Also lore, this ancient god, loves nothing better than to f##k with everyone's heads!!! But when you mess with those he care's about he'll suck your soul right out of you and leave nothing but a husk of your body behind and enjoy doing it!!! And then theirs a few more characters who are coming to the front that are just as intriguing as well from murder a beautiful black gargoyle who has a story to tell as well. And the beautiful Aubreigne who is part demon/part siren who with her voice alone can draw any unmated man to her,but who is now nursing the human once windigo Ata’halne, Can't wait to see where their story goes!! And then theirs enthrall's house keeper/healer mamaie,love this old lady!!! She keeps everyone in line!!! If you haven't read much paranormal romance give Sandra R neeley's The Whispers of the bayou series a look,I can almost guarantee that you will fall in love with the inhabitants their!!! The heroine: Felicity - she is a lawyer in the early 1900’s in Philadelphia. She came from a wealthy family which is why she was able to get her law degree in a time when most women couldn’t. However, being a woman she was stuck working at a law firm and was treated as a glorified assistant despite the fact that she was smarter and knew the law better than anyone else at the firm.
The Hero: Enthrall - a vampire and the leader of the Whispers, a community of supernatural beings hidden deep in the Louisiana bayou that is hidden with magical glamour and is a sanctuary for all kinds of supernatural creatures. He was once an attorney and recently came to Philadelphia with Carolena from Carnage after her father died, to deal with her estate. That is when he met Felicity whom he knew at once was his fated mate that he had been waiting centuries to find.
The Story: Felicity is tasked with helping set up a home for women and children in need in the mansion where Carolena had grown up. She is happy to be working with Enthrall whom she was attracted to at first glance. Little does she know that the persistent cough she has been plagued with for a while is consumption.
I have been loving this series and Enthrall was such a great guy in both the previous two books that I couldn’t wait for his story. Like the Heroes in the first two books, Enthrall had been lonely for a very long time and had nearly given up hope of ever finding a mate. Only to find her and she is dying.
Enthrall was turned vampire against his will and doesn’t want to do that to Felicity since it had made him hate his maker, so he needs time to get to know Felicity, make her fall in love with him and then tell her what he is so she can decide on her own if she wants to be turned.
I like this series because they focus as much on the side storylines as on the romance and there is always so much happening in this world. There is some stuff about the dragon tree and Lily, who is the daughter of Carolena and Carnage but also has some sort of past life and a connection to both Lore and the Dragon. We also find out much more about Enthrall and how he became a vampire.

Loved Enthrall and Felicity! And Lore! And little Lily with Carrick!
I'm really enjoying the world Sandra R. Neeley has build here. Whispers and it's inhabitants are quickly becoming some of my fave. If you love everything paranormal do give this series a try. It has adorable Gargoyles, mysterious Ancients, sexy vampires,sleeping dragons as well as wraiths, witches, sirens, wendigos and more. We have another lovely pairing with this one and quite a few set ups for the next books. And I cannot wait to read them all!

The series is a definitive pallet cleanser that are so wholesome, spicy in parts, romatinc and definitely have a found family element. Each book follows a character finding love but after their book are done we get to read about them in the other books as well as getting to know the other characters in the community. At tines it feels to sweet and perfect but it can be because I read dark and angsty romances to. Have the next one in my bookshelf snd definitely excited to read the next in the future.

This was surprisingly a good book. It’s candy for the brain and certain things you’ll have to suspend reality :) however, overall, it was a quick read, with witty, quirky, heartwarming paranormal characters and now I want to read the entires series 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

Wow I knew Enthrall story had to be awesome just simply awesome because it just couldn't be any other way. Each story captivate you from beginning to end no letting go, that's how awesome this series is so listen all paranormal lovers like me do not pass this series up nope Do Not Pass these amazing very well written characters that come to life before your eyes and hook you right into their world. So again another great read in the lives of "Whispers From the Bayou"!!!!!

Enthrall is a vampire and the leader of Whispers. Enthrall always looks out for, takes care of everyone. Enthrall never really noticed how lonely he was until Carnage decided he was keeping Carolena....
Felicity is smart, driven, wants to help people. Felicity is a lawyer and overseer for Carolena's affairs outside of Whispers. Lici welcomes the help of Enthrall, not just because he is SO handsome, but because she is always so tired.
I have read all 3 of the books in this series and I think this is the best one yet. Ms. Neeley has seriously out done herself with this one. I would give Enthrall more than 5 stars if I could.
The back story for Enthrall was not what I expected, his character always seemed confident and sure, then to see to learn this part put a squeeze to my heart. The scene with Lily is gut wrenching, that child is beyond special. To see a child as young as Lily give her life just to make her Unca Trawl happy is enough to make anyone shed tears. Lici's actions have reality to them, yes we all want love, but who wouldn't be scared! This story has given me such a range of emotions and have made me fall even more in love with these fantastical characters. I would recommend for every adult out there to come to Whispers and get to know these amazing beings, you won't regret it.

So happy for Enthrall’s story
This is book three and I am reading this series. This is the story of the leader or mayor of the town of Whispers, Enthrall. He is an amazing leader and one who you want in your corner. He has a dry since of humor which adds to the story and his character. He has seen two of his closest friends find their mate and their happiness. Enthrall had been complaining in book two about it being quiet, but things are hopping in Whispers now with all the new mates and new residents. Okay, well I am not a big fan of the female lead character, Felicity. She is a sweetheart, well educated, a lawyer so not a bad person in the story. But the constant behavior of throwing herself into danger without thinking of her own well-being. It’s painful to read and gets old fast. Her lack of communication to Enthrall bothered me too. I mean come on Felicity is an attorney by trade. You can’t start the conversation? By the time the reader gets to the epilogue, all has been made whole, but Felicity lost me as a fan. Enthrall and the rest of the Whispers’ family make this book. Rowan’s grandmother is the best and is so wise. Read On!

I waited so patiently for this story, not like it was terrible, we did get other stories in between books but you know, waiting is hard!! Lol
Enthrall has been a favorite since Carnage released. This man, this amazing man, who thinks he is a monster and doesn't deserve love.......deserves it more than anyone! He's built an amazing place for all paranormal creatures to feel safe and have a community and family again. When I thought he'd have his Mate I was elated, but then Destroy ended and the waiting began. Felicity, Lici he calls her, is more then a match for him!
Will these two be able to build a life or will fear, prejudice and others keep them apart?
I so enjoyed going back to Whispers and visiting everyone, the catching up was a joy. This place feels like an extended family, I'd live there in a heartbeat if I could. Absolutely love that they feel so real, one of my all time favorite series.

For me, this is an emotion-filled story as Enthrall and Felicity work through their issues. Thankfully, they have well-loved friends to provide much needed assistance. I’m enjoying the ever-changing scene as we catch up with what’s happening with familiar Whispers faces - and some new! I love seeing Enthrall and Felicity fall more deeply in love as they take chances, trust in each other. We also witness a romance brewing for two more of Whisper’s residents. This book is rich with developing stories! Not to be missed!

This world that Sandra R. Neeley has created is just simply out of this world. And while I love my boys, the dragons, vampires are a huge weakness for me, so naturally this story intrigued me. This is one of the best vampire stories I have ever read. Enthrall and Felicity are going to have to fight for their love, if only Enthrall will reveal himself to her. Time is limited! Awesome story and the world building in this series is just fantastic!!! I'm all excited about the next book now!!!!

I like these stories. The characters are likeable even though they are not considered "normal" . The bad people get their just desserts and the good people get their HEA.

Love at first sight
Actually I think it was just a knowing that they were meant to be together. They worked very hard to discover and develop their feelings. It was a tense moment toward the end, but we got our happily ever after. Well done.

This series has been one of the most engrossing that I think I've ever had the pleasure and good fortune to stumble across. I have read each book so far in the past three days at a pace of one book per day with how obsessed I've become. I recommend them HIGHLY, for several reasons. 1. The author is a master at not just writing, but pacing. The stories never leave me feeling bored or confused, yet she manages to tell the stories of so many individuals at once. 2. The characters are so well developed; they're complex, intriguing, and leave me wanting to know more about them and their lives. I've been excited for Lore's story since I first heard about him, and every book that goes by I end up loving Lily's character more and more. 3. Side characters are given spotlight. The side characters (which imo include Destroy, Murder, Ata'halne, Aubreigne, and probably more I've forgotten) are interesting and unique enough to have full books made about them, and yet again the pacing comes into play where it feels like we get to hear their stories while also leading up to the next book with a main character's story. 4. The plot has the same basis for most books: find and claim your mate, males! That said, the author manages to make each book an entirely fresh take and perspective on the community of Whispers and its' inhabitants. Toward book 3, we start to see more sex scenes, and hey, you won't hear me complain about it! But the point of me saying that is that up until that point, I barely noticed that there weren't a lot of scenes like that in the books; I was so entertained that the sexual tension was secondary to the large plotline of finding that one true love and keeping her safe and close. That, ladies and gentlemen, is rare for me. The sexual tension and the sex scenes are usually important to me in a book; the intimacy between characters has to be real and has to be engrossing for me to be satisfied. While the scenes involved in the books so far are both of those, I was surprised when I finally realized I didn't even care that it wasn't revolving around the physical aspects of the relationships. Honestly, I can't recommend these books enough, and Enthrall was just as good as I'd hoped it would be. Sandra is a master at her craft, and I hope she continues to make books for a long time because I know I'll be checking more out after I'm done with this series! 5/5 bite marks!

I have read all of Sandra Neeley’s books. Whispers From the Bayou is by far my favorite series, and I waited patiently for Enthrall. All I can say is WOW!! I would love to visit the Bayou, just to get a glimpse of him. Sandra is so realistic when writing her about her characters!
Enthrall has waited so long for his mate, he never thought he would find her and now that he did he may loose her again. This made me so sad, angry, it was so unfair! Will Entrall save Felicity? Felicity has no idea Enthrall is a vampire. Will Enthrall turn her to save her? This has nail biting suspense, intensity, romance and you get to meet Carnage,Destroy and other characters from the bayou.

Love Whispers.
I think I'm slightly obsessed with Whispers and the creatures that reside there.
I have loved Enthrall since meeting him in book 1. The charismatic vampire intrigued me straight away. He's charming, protective and strong. But there's always been an underlying loneliness surrounding him.

I absolutely loved Enthtall and Felicity, their connection was all consuming, passionate and beautiful. They left me with a huge smile on my face.
There are lots of things going on in Whispers I'm dying to know more about Murder the big black Gargolye fascinates me, I really hope we get his story......Don't get me started on how much I adore Lore he's an interesting one that's for sure.
Can't wait for book 4 fingers crossed we don't have to wait to long.
I think I'm slightly obsessed with Whispers and the creatures that reside there.
I have loved Enthrall since meeting him in book 1. The charismatic vampire intrigued me straight away. He's charming, protective and strong. But there's always been an underlying loneliness surrounding him.

Enthrall finally finds his lady, Felicity. She is the lawyer for the women's shelter that Carolina and Rowen set up. Felicity is attracted to Enthrall but knows that time may be running out for her. There is quite a few hiccups in their relationship in the beginning but it works out in the end.
I really enjoyed learning more about Enthrall and his past. He is a great character and leader of Whispers. Neeley really does a great job at creating interesting and strong characters that make you want more.
I love that we are seeing major growth and development in Whispers. Everyone is learning to trust each other and overcome their fears. The community really is thriving and becoming stronger. I can’t wait to see what happens next, hopefully Lore’s story.

Another amazing read!!!!!!
I didn’t want to put it down. Enthrall is such an amazing being. He has such honor and loyalty for those he loves. I have so many feelings for these books and all the characters in them, you can’t help but love them and keep reading to know them all. I have already bought the next book and I am about to start reading it.
I usually am more of an audio book listener because I do custom art wood work. I am so into this series and only the 1st 2 books were recorded on audio, that I had dust off my kindle and get to reading.
So I have to thank SANDRA NEELY for creating such a captivating world with amazing characters that I can get lost in. Also please record more in audio.

I never know which character will win my heart when I open and start a new Sandra R. Neeley story. They all have a piece of it. I loved reading about how Enthrall became who he was, and how he became to be the way he is now. He reaches in and just takes a piece of your heart. Felicity is a kind soul that does not deserve the hand she has been dealt. The best thing to happen to either of them was to meet, and become each others salvation. I can't wait to see what happens with them as we go in the series. I do know that I am never disappointed when I open a Whispers from the Bayou story; except for when I reach The End.

Loved it!!
I really loved this book and highly recomended. I love this series. Love the characters( carnage one of my favs along with enthrall, live him. His such a great person and deserves all the happiness). This story made me laugh and cry and just really enjoyed it. Cant wait for the others to find their mates. The siren and human, lore and his mate(which i suspect is this person hes going off to see and help)(i think his book is next) i want murser to find someone and even maybe even a future one with lily and the dragon or shane and the siren girl. 5 stars recomend the whole series.

I LOVED Enthrall. He is a vampire and the leader of Whispers, a community of Supernaturals deep in the swamps and bayous of South Louisiana. He has been alone for centuries, but finds his mate. Felicity doesn't know he is a vampire. She is human and seriously ill, but she doesn't know how ill. Reading about these two intriguing characters finding their path to each other is fun and so moving. Neeley's books have all the feels. You also get to check in with Carnage and Destroy and their families. Watch Lily developing into the extraordinary supernatural she will be under Lore's tutelage. Another great book in the Whispers From the Bayou series.

I honestly can't get enough of this series! I am very impatiently waiting for the next book, which i really hope will be out soon! I love the path this series is taking with all the characters. I especially like that the smexiness of them doesn't take away from the world and characters stories. It's done so effortlessly and in a natural way. I love being able to see all the characters grow and change as thier brood becomes larger and larger! I love how in love everyone is too. That they want to take care of each other, not just thier mates, but the community they've created also. Definitely one of my favourite series I've read this year!

Another awesome story in the Whispers
Another great story from the Whispers world. Enthrall the Vampire leader or guardian of the Whispers. Enthrall has finally found his true mate after centurys. Felicity is the lawyer who helped Carolena settle her fathers estate and set up the women's shelter. Will Felicity run in fear of Enthrall or will she except him as the Vampire that he is. The good,kind loving man that she has come to love. Can Enthralled control himself and not just turn her into a vampire like him. Sickness, abusive men and even a orphan can't keep these two apart. I can't wait to start the next chapter in the Whispers world.
