Had no problem giving my five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating. I absolutely adored Dr. Angel and Dr. Bryce. And I was so surprised at who Dr. Bryce's relatives were, it is a small world huh? Bravo Mrs. Lavender for calling in the REAL Troops. Grayling ain't seen nothing like that. I am already looking forward to book two next month. Love your work tremendously D. Camille and will ALWAYS be right there to or order or one click.

Leave it up to creative writer, D Camille to revisit one of my favorite all Black fictional towns, Grayling, Michigan, and at the same time produce a new series that not only reacquaints us with familiar characters, but also introduces us to new ones. Grayling is “a town where excellence lives”. From the first look at a Grayling in The Sable Inn Series and The Book Club Series, readers are well aware that Grayling wears the badge of excellence well. In this new series, the town and it’s thriving businesses and institutions are being threatened by those who want the town and seek to get it by any means necessary.
In the midst of the town leaders fighting an unknown power to stop the gentrification of Grayling, the story also focuses on the growing romance between Dr. Angel Myers and Dr. Bryce Anderson. These two are destined to “catch the wave” that has brought so many couples together. They have their issues, however, and one of the plot points deal with them overcoming them. If you are familiar with the ingenious writing of D Camille, then you know that there is much more to this story. On one hand, the featured couple celebrates Black Love by finding their HEA, and on the other hand, the people who want Grayling, the Gentrifiers, are using all kinds of detrimental tactics to take over. Bryce becomes the first victim as you will discover when you read the book.
There are three unforgettable scenes in the book: One, is the day a fleet of black SUVS arrived in Grayling carrying 20 men agents and one woman agent, large and in charge, Agent Keisha Baker. You’ll get that when you read the book. The second scene reveals the family of Dr. Bryce. If you are a follower of D Camille then the name, Patrice Dansby should have you clutching your pearls. The third scene renders a chilling account of how gentrification works. It’s an eye-opener for sure.
BLACK LOVE, a Contemporary Romance, is an engaging read, and I recommend it. I look forward to reading the next book in this summer series.

Black Excellence
Angel and Bryce, proved that sometimes finding love is all about timing. It was interesting to see his ties to Patrice. Love how you brought Keisha in this story and I hope to see her and the agent growing in a relationship soon. I need to know those Gentrifiers didn't get that bookstore like they planned and I'd watch that other Dr that didn't see the beauty and necessity of promoting better health for the people in Grayling and caring only about her bottom line, she can be bought for the right price. So much I loved, but most of all I love how Black Excellence lives and is promoted in Grayling

I loved Bryce and Angel's story. I thought it was very sweet and endearing. I also was happy to see a little more of Quentin as well. I appreciated the Gentrification tie in as well. Thank you for explaining the depths those poachers go through to steal what they want. It gave me a better understanding. It has been happening in my city for years. I was happy to see crossover legacy characters from the Diamond and Negus worlds. I am anticipating the next read and new lessons learned. Thank you as always Ms. D. Camille.

Return to Grayling
This latest story centered in the fictional town of Grayling, MI once again brings your mind to the most basic things in life we all search for. Love, community and growth. Loved this latest installment with Drs. Anderson and Myers. And the unexpected connection to the Negus series made the story even better. Couldn’t put it down.

Black Excellence and Black Love are great together especially in Grayling!
I love the journey of Dr. Angel and Dr. Bryce! I love the fact that Sr. Bryce only wanted to love the person that Dr. Angel is! They compliment one another! I can’t wait for the next installment! Another five star ⭐️

Black Love, Black Excellence !
The return to Grayling was well worth the wait. Dr. Bryce and Dr. Angel! All I can say is WOW!! The small town, love and commitment, the history,and the Nelsons girls! Sweet!! And Willie, is too much, got to love him! Excellent read D. Camille I can’t wait to see what’s next!!!!

Black love is excellent indeed!
Every Grayling story sets me up for the next! I This story of Dr. Bryce and Dr. Angel is another insight into our awesome world. It again demonstrated how great things can happen when we stick together for the good of self and our community at large. This left me anxious for the next story in the Excellence series! 10/10!!!

I adore it!!!
What I like the most about this particular book over some of the other grayling books is that both people didnt let their pride get in the way of their love. There wasnt a period of time when they wasnt talking or one had to beg for forgiveness but it was genuine love and maturity between them that I felt. I love the wave and cant wait for more.

Black Love - Amazing ❤️
I absolutely loved this story! Bryce and Angel really needed each other and I’m glad that they caught the wave. I’m ready to continue to read about the next couple to catch the wave while reading awesome stories about people that look like me.

Black Excellence, Phenomenal
I immensely enjoyed reading Bryce and Angel's story. Bryce and Angel's story will have you laughing. And learning about how the gentrification and learning how the white culture tries to destroy the black community and towns especially when that town or community is successful. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I enjoyed Dr. Anderson and Dr. Meyers love story. Gangster doctor who knew Bryce had it in him until Quentin came on the scene. D. Camille stories will have you salivating for more. I can’t wait for the next installment of The Excellence Series.

Thoroughly loved reading Brice and Angel's story. This installment takes us back to Grayling and readers get to catch up with the Sable sisters, the book club and a few new characters. D. Camille does not disappoint.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the storyline and characters. Bryce and Angel are a good match. I enjoy the town of Grayling and their many characters.. Summer and Wynter are a smart pair and Willie is always entertaining. I recommend this book.

Yes Back to Grayling, this town is awesome and the characters from the two beautiful little girls to the doctors that are destined to be the next super power Black love relationship in a town where Black love lives. This story gets five stars , because you get love ,headaches, drama and a great story that rounds everything out.
