We were destined to be childhood sweethearts, but that was stolen from us.
Ava
Our parents were friends. But when my mother and father were killed in a fire, Caleb’s mother took him out of Cuba to keep him safe: fatefully handing him over to a family with a billion-dollar fortune.
Now he’s back to find the parents he never knew and collect the billions he’s due. That is, until he meets me. He thinks he needs to protect me, but I don’t need him or his money. I’ve built a successful life from the ground up. He’s hot as sin and our chemistry is powerful, but so are my enemies.
Caleb
When my Dad dies, I discover I was adopted. In order to get my part of his estate, I must go back to the country I came from and make it better somehow. In Cuba, I find my bio-Dad and then I meet the one - Ava.
Years ago, my father became her guardian angel when her parents were killed. She’s a ball-buster. Built like a brick house - all curves and bags of confidence. She’s done well, despite the communists. She doesn’t need my money, but she needs my protection. The forces trying to keep us apart are putting her in danger and I’ll be damned if they touch her. She is meant to be mine and I’m taking her.
Hi, I'm Molly! I love to write contemporary billionaire romance with a noble twist.
After years developing business strategy, branding, and reputation management for some of the world’s largest companies, I am pursuing my dream of being a romance writer. Every book is a standalone story with a HEA ending”
“I love the psychological motivation behind the characters and exploring the emotional, intimate sides of relationships."
ARC was given by Author through Booksprout. I am giving my review voluntarily.
I gave this book 4 stars.
" Hot as Sin " by Molly Sloan is the 1st book in her new series. It was really an unexpected story, I found it very relatable to real lifes hardships going on now, and in our past history- Immigration! My family also immigrated to this great country. This was a very emotional romance. It's about 3 brothers that are adopted and with their inheritance money they must proof they are mature enough to handle all that money. Each of the brothers must go to their original country of birth and do some research to come up with a business plan that will benefit it's habitantes!!! Ava is a business owner of a night club, and Caleb is the first brother stepping up to the plate. Their story was heartbreaking, what they and the families had to endure was tuff. Love is timeless and beautiful. There's also a side order of mystery throw into this story. Steam wise I would call it lukewarm, not enough steam for me that's why I gave it a 4 🌟. In the end there's a HEA with no cliffhangers. I can't wait for book 2 coming out soon.
A beautiful page turning story. This is Caleb's story. Three brothers Caleb, Alex and Eden find out that they were adopted and before they can get their inheritance they need to prove they are mature and responsible and are tasked to go their the country they were born and come up with a plan to help those in need. On Caleb's journey he finds out he is from Cuba and connects with his father and tries to find his mom. Caleb learns all about the situation that was happening when he was born that started the events of him leaving Cuba with his mom. While there he is introduced to Ava who lost her parents in a fire when she was young and Caleb's dad was taking care of while she was raised by her aunt. This was such a lovely emotional story. Loved the storyline and the characters. Can't wait to read the other brothers journey.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Can you even imagine finding out you are not who you think you are? The Elliott brothers not only have to grieve the death of their father, but through his death find out they were adopted.
Their dad and mother started a tiny in-home business when the boys were small, and built it into an international company. The three brothers lacked for nothing. At their father’s death, they were left a fortune…. but there was a catch. To claim their inheritance they had to create a plan, one that showed they were responsible adults and that plan would need to help the country of their birth.
This is Caleb’s story. It’s a love story of a different kind. Caleb's love story is one of family, one of finding his true self, and yes, one of romance.
Caleb’s birth mother escaped impoverished, war torn Cuba with only a couple of suitcases and her son, ‘Ramon’…. who we know as Caleb. She made many sacrifices for her son but the hardest one was giving him up for adoption. It was the only way to care, protect and provide for him.
Caleb will travel the streets of Havana and see first hand the struggles his native countrymen endure. He locates his birth father and learns his birth mother still is in America. He finds a way to bring them together again. But nothing is ever as easy as it seems. There are barriers to cross, jealous men to face down and The Plan to help them all.
I think you’ll enjoy walking alongside Caleb on his journey to become a man while learning life is full of ups and downs.
👁 OBSERVATIONS …I kept wondering why Caleb didn’t move in with his birth father while in Cuba. His ‘papa’ had gained wealth himself, according to Cuban standards. No better way to get to know each other than live in the same house.
…Looking forward to seeing just where the other two Elliott brothers are from and what their plans involve. Caleb’s story was heartwarming with good feels. That in itself is A Plan worth following in the other two books that will have to be written…after all there are three brothers.
Molly's latest book is amazing!!!! Caleb and his two brother Alex and Eden, find out after the death of their father Gordon, that all three of them were adopted. In order to claim their portion of the family trust, upon their 25th birthday, they must visit the country of their birth and come up with a plan to give back. Caleb is up first and he finds his family is from Cuba. His mother Gabriella and he were able to escape to America but his father Ramon remained behind. He finds Ramon and is able to find out more about what happened that led him to the US. He meets Ava, a woman his father helped support after her parents were killed in a house fire. She runs her own club and has secretly given loans to other women who want to start a business. The longer Caleb is there the more he finds himself falling in love with Ava and growing his relationship with Ramon. While there, he is contacted by the adoption agency with the option of his birth mother receiving his contact information. Meanwhile, someone is sneaking around Ava's club and causing mischief and they know about the secret loans. Things are going well as Caleb and Ava are in love, he is able to reunite his parents and Ava is starting a scholarship fund for girls. Carnaval approaches and things go crazy when a fire is set at Ava's friend Salima's business and while the fire department is there, one is started at her club. When the night is over and the smoke clears, everyone is safe, Caleb and Ava have a new plan for their life together and Caleb has made his plan to help out in Havana with his part of the trust.

"Hot as Sin" is a page-turning contemporary romance from author Molly Sloan. After his father's death, Caleb Elliot is shocked to learn that he and his two brothers, Alex and Eden, had been adopted as infants by Susan and Gordon Elliot. Growing up in a world of privilege did not prepare the boys to learn that each of them had been born to a different set of parents in a different country. Now, in order to help the brothers mature beyond their slacker irresponsibility, their father has stipulated that each one of them must "earn" their inheritance by returning to their birth countries and finding a worthy cause to support. First up is older brother Caleb, who learns that his given name was Ramon, and he was born in Cuba. He journeys to Cuba and finds his birth father--and he also meets a beautiful young woman named Ava, an unexpected and undeniably compelling force-of-nature. The chemistry between them is combustible--a mixture of Fate and irresistible attraction. In order to find a happy and rewarding future together, Caleb and Ava must resolve issues from the past and defeat the elements of present-day danger that lurk all around them--is their love strong enough to find the way? I look forward to learning how Fate will treat the younger Elliot brothers, Alex and Eden, in future stories from the talented Molly Sloan.
Hot as Sin by Molly Sloan is hopefully the first in a series. We are introduced to three brothers shortly after their father's death. They have just been blindsided with the knowledge they were adopted . When each turns 25 they are given information about their both parents and birth country. Since they all lead privileged lives and haven't made the best decisions they must prove their worth to be their inheritance.
First up is Caleb. Less than a year after his adopted father's death heathen 25 and gets his box. Enclosed is a letter from his birth mother and information about his birth father and hometown in Cuba. Unable to easily locate his mother he travels to Cuba and meets his dad Ramon who is a retired fire fighter. He also is introduced to Ava who is not only a respected business owner but also a champion for Cuban women.
This book was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. I had tears in my eyes right from the first chapter. Seeing the interactions between Caleb, Ramon and Gabriella also tugs at the heartstrings. The only thing I wish we got more of would be seeing the connection Caleb has with his adopted brothers. It's mentioned they have a close bond but I didn't feel a part of that.
The romance between Caleb and Ava is a slow burn. The book is around 60% over before they get physical. It was great to see they actually built up a relationship before jumping into bed.
I received an advanced copy of this book through BookSprout and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
This is a story-line that is totally new I haven't read anything like it before When Caleb, Alex and Eden's father dies they learn a family secret They have grown up in the lap of luxury after their parents small business became huge but what they find is that they are each adopted Their father has made it a term of his will that for man to inherit his billion dollar trust they must return to the country they where born in and give something back
The first story is about Caleb He discovers he was born in Cuba and that his mother escaped the country with nothing except her son Ramon and that she gave him up for adoption to give him a better life. He discovers that is father still lives in Cuba and is a retired firefighter so that is where he heads he discovers his father old firefighting house is short on equipment so this gives him his chance to do something good. He also meets Ava the woman his father raised after her parents where killed in a fire The attraction between them is instant and she is also doing her best to help people well women in Cuba Could they be a perfect match do they have a future together You will have to read to see Now looking forward to Alex and Eden's stories
Hot as Sin was a sweet read with a side of heat. It's the short(ish) story of Caleb, who finds out he was adopted, so he has a task by his adoptive father, which is to look up his birth parents, and see how he can help out in his original country of Cuba. The other side to this coin is Ava, who has Caleb's bio dad as her second father, since she lost her family when she was younger. And it's because of this tie, that Caleb meets her when he goes to the club she owns with his bio dad. They are instantly attracted to each other, and that takes us on a sweet journey with some serious chemistry. And if that weren't already great, a twist or two comes out of nowhere leading up to a fiery ending. So do yourselves a favor, and one click this story which makes for a sexy afternoon delight, as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I'm gobsmacked by this incredibly talented author who consistently delivers the most compelling stories... Molly, this was amazing, can't tell you how much I loved this beautifully crafted story that dragged me in from the get go. Just can't wait for the stories from the rest of the hero's family & possibly for some of the other characters, excluding the creepy guy, ugh! Flawlessly written the story almost seeps into your veins it was that intense but with an underlying sense of family, connection & deep caring beyond my personal experience, I craved it. Can't recommend this highly enough.
The first book in the series. If this is how it starts off we are in for a treat with this series.
This book starts off with an unusual beginning. The reading of a Will so as to speak. In this reading his 3 sons find out that they are adopted. To receive their share of their inheritance they have to go to the country of their birth and do something there deserving of the said inheritance.
As you can imagine, the news is greeted with surprise and hurt. As the oldest embarks in his personal journey of discovery, he learns the lesson his father was trying to teach him. And in the process he also finds love and his birth parents.
An absolute must read.
I received this as an arc and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

I’m a sucker for both billionaire romances (I adore my sweetie but think it’s unfair he’s not a billionaire - which he says he thinks is a fair complaint) and I also love a good “Hometown Romance”. No surprise that when put into the hands of a talented writer, I’m going to love what’s produced. The writer here, Molly Sloan, clearly has the talent as the book, Hot as Sin (Billionaire Elements Book 1), is just super. Ava and Caleb are strong, complex and interesting characters and their story is no cookie-cutter. It is, however, thoroughly enjoyable with a great plot and cast of characters. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. If it’s anything as good as this one the I’m definitely looking forward to the next Billionaire Elements book.
Hart warming story of reunion, fresh starts in old hometown, one nice view of Cuba. I liked the strong heroine Ava, she build her life like an orphan with the help of Caleb's father, but she built it nice, successful an helpful for others. She wanted to give to others, she wanted to help them to succeed. Caleb learns that he is adopted, and he has to visit his hometown, maybe find his biological father who is strong and caring, but he find it all. Father who is a role model of humanity, long lost mother who sacrificed the love of the husband, left from Cuba only to provide better opportunity for her son ... Their reunion was emotional. Molly Sloan brought all characters on one place very vividly, gave them so much love .... My five stars for love, for humanity and warm kindness going through the whole book.
When Caleb's father dies, he and his two brothers find out that they were adopted and on their 25th birthday, they are tasked to go to their birth country and set up some humanitarian project before they can come into their inheritence. Caleb discovers he is from Cuba and heads out to find his birth parents and discover his heritage.
While in Cuba, Caleb, whose birth name is Ramon, meets Ava, who was practically raised by his father after her parents were killed. Knowing they would have grown up together if he had stayed with his bio-parents, Ava and Caleb have an Insta-connection and I loved these two together. But as Caleb finds out about the circumstances of his adoption and his parent's separation, there is danger lurking. Ava is in danger and while I figured out who it was pretty early on, I was still worried waiting for him/her to make a move. The suspense was killing me!
This was a very quick and enjoyable read. I read it in a couple of hours and I will be checking more of Ms Sloan's work out. It looks like there will be a book about each of the brothers finding out their history and I will be looking forward to reading them!
A enjoyable romantic romance story and the first of the three brothers- Caleb, Alex and Eden who were adopted by Susan and Gordon Elliot. To inherent their one billion dollar Trust Fund they have to prove to the board they have a reliable plan to use their funds. Caleb the oldest is first in this well written story. Caleb finds out in his papers that his birth parents are from Cuba and when he searches finds his father is a fireman so he goes to Cuba to meet him. When he meets Ramon, Ramon is happy to see his son and shows him around his job. Caleb realizes their equipment is out dated and he wants to help with his fund money. Ramon takes Caleb to a club where he meets Ava who runs it. There's a attraction between them but do they pursue it, knowing Caleb is only visiting? This is clean romance that titillate the senses as our couple grow closer together, there is drama as there is betrayal that endangers Ava and the characters were well rounded in this well written story. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.
This book was a wonderful heartwarming love story. It would be very hard to find out in your twenties that you were adopted. What a great way to start a story. It would have been quite an adventure to go to a foreign country to meet your real family. Caleb seemed to fit right in with the people he met and then to find your love there also. Caleb and Ava had great chemistry. All the characters were very loveable. There were a lot of happy endings in this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book by Molly Sloan. This story was about three brothers that did not know they were adopted until their father death. This story was about Caleb finding out about his parents and where he came from. Finding true love and giving back and getting his portion of his trust fund. I like that about the book on giving back to help your fellow man. Ava had her own club and she gives to the woman to help them get started in owning their own businesses. Caleb did return to his country and find his father. His father tell him all about his life and how they ended up in the US. His father raise Ava when her parents were killed in a fire. This story had some drama, sadness and joys. Its a good story.

This was my first Molly Sloan's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in a new trilogy, about three brothers, Caleb, Eden and Alex. Caleb and Ava's story is sweet, and heartwarming. The storyline is filled with twists and turns, mystery, danger and adventure. Caleb is handsome, protective and supportive. Ava is a strong and beautiful character. They share a strong chemistry. The secondary characters are great. I love the brotherhood in this story and the family spirit. The ending is beautiful. This is the perfect summer reading. I enjoyed reading this story and can't wait for Eden and Alex stories.
It is an amazing book! I love when authors mix current topics with love stories! Our hero and heroine works on interesting matters around entrepreneurship, justice and freedom! They are so lovely and deserves every single moment of happiness! Can’t wait for the other brother’s books!

I liked this entertaining storyline with a twist. The main character was raised in a life of wealth and privilege. After the loss of his parents, he is shocked to learn that he and his siblings were from different countries and families and were adopted. To receive their inheritance, each one of them must go to their birth country and do whatever is required of them. The first son returned to Cuba, made a discovery and found his love and full story.

Definitely hot. He may have got the bad news first but he got great news later. He had to leave to get it and once he did, he understood. He met the love of his life. Not a bad deal at all.

Honestly I thought the story would be more about Caleb and his playboy ways not the heartwarming story it is. After Caleb’s father dies a video changes the life Caleb and his brothers have always known.
An enjoyable read with drama, ups and downs, suspense, and intrigue. The storyline is well thought out, emotionally deep, and consistent; I was captivated from page one until the end. Strong characters you will love and root for; the chemistry between them is off the charts! This book is guaranteed to leave you wanting more. Definitely recommended!

A beautiful, slightly quirky story about adoption of 3 boys by well-to-do parents. The fact of the boys' adoption comes out when the patriarch dies and he leaves a video recording for them. It is a touching, sometime teary-eyed tale of finding your heritage and the good that can be done. I loved it!

This is a very well written heartwarming and heartbreaking story both. It is about adoption, drama, tragedy, emotional situations, excitement and so much more. Families and tragedy and what they have to do to get through it. What happens after they get older for life to go on. I would read the blurb. I loved this story so much and couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it. I received a review copy from booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Caleb and Ava were childhood friends until things go horribly wrong and Ava's parents are killed in a fire. Caleb discovers he and his brothers were adopted by the Elliots. Years later, Caleb is back in town and hasn't forgotten Ava. Ava doesn't need money or protection but Caleb is determined to get her back. A good second chance romance with suspense.
