However, there are several incidents / anecdotes in their life which have made them what they are. This is a companion volume to my earlier book on such incidents on "Great men of India". The interesting such incidents of 22 of such great men who has made the world fir for living are narrated here. These 22 are from diverse fields which include scientists like Albert Einstein, Thomas Alva Edison, Nikolai Tesla, Madame Curie and statesmen like Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Winston Churchill, Nepoleon Bonaparte and ancient philosophers and artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Michel Angelo , Confucius, Aristotle and Socrates. More than the authenticity of these incidents collected from internet and Wikipedia, the humour in these were the considerations in the selection.
