The Vampire Uprising saved the world but ravaged humanity. Families were separated, covens created, and the back-world forgotten forever. Except by women like me.
Born with a dhampir mutation, I’m neither human nor vampire. I’m the ultimate predator. If only I didn’t need a coven to survive.
After entering the Blood Life Territory in search of my next blood source, I now find myself enrolled in the Academy of Vampire Heirs, a training program for region leaders. That’s right. I’ve been forced into a place where vampires consider me just a donor...until my nature shows what I truly am when I kill one of the school’s most elite.
His four, wicked hot brothers want restitution for killing their leader and jeopardizing their status. They want to claim me as their coven’s personal blood source. But no one can claim me. What they don’t know is I’m about to claim them.
This is a new adult reverse harem academy book for 17+ due to mature language and steam over the series. Don’t miss this sizzling, fun series with smexy vampires, classes on how to be a good little blood donor, and a feisty twenty-year-old woman who likes to break all the rules.
SERIES ORDER DHAMPIRS 101- BOOK ONE BLOOD SOURCES 102- BOOK TWO
Ginna Moran is the author of an array of both paranormal and contemporary young adult novels including the Demon Within, Falling into Fame, and Spark of Life series.
She started writing poetry as a teenager in a spiral notebook that she still has tucked away on her desk today. Her love of writing grew after she graduated high school and she completed her first unpublished manuscript at age eighteen.
When she realized her love of writing was her life’s passion, she studied literature at Mira Costa College in Northern San Diego. Besides writing young adult novels, she was senior editor, content manager, and image coordinator for Crescent House Publishing Inc. for four years.
Aside from Ginna’s professional life, she enjoys binge watching television shows, playing pretend with her daughter, and cuddling with her dogs. Some of her favorite things include chocolate, anything that glitters, cheesy jokes, and organizing her bookshelf.
Ginna is currently hard at work on her next novel.
I feel like my rating system is getting fucked up. Three stars feel more of a whatever kind of read than an enjoyable one.
Dhampirs 101 was... hot and cold and very confusing. The story and the characters sent mixed signals all way long and I am still perplexed with whatever happened even after the end.
Fiona was... Seriously, I don't know. She was sometimes weak and sometimes strong, she was a brat and a whiny horny fuck but kind of smart and sassy, she was a complete lunatic. She went through too many emotions in a single sentence to really keep up with her.
I liked the last few chapters but I don't think I will read the next book.
I gave this such a low rating because it read like a scene-for-scene remake of a book that Moran released 2 weeks ago ("Rebel Vampire" or something like that). The only big differences here were that the MC had a best friend who stayed with her instead of brothers who were separated from her, and the setting here is in an academy instead of the harem's estate. It was like the author said "Hey, academy books are big right now. Why don't I adapt a book that I already wrote into that setting?" Which is basically the biggest creative turn-off ever for me.
Dnf 74% because I seriously feel like I just read this book a few weeks ago and I've been mad since the first chapter, so why bother finishing. I think I'll be dropping the other series too, even though I gave the book from a few weeks ago 4 stars.
I love academy reads and this is a fantastic academy read! Well written this vampire read sucked me in ( pun intended!!) with its fab intense storyline and great characters and it’s twists and turns and I cannot wait to read book 2!
Wow! I absolutely loved the premise of this book and I have to say the execution is epic. The world building is incredible, the characters are compelling, and I’m not gonna lie, I devoured this book and am craving more. Solid 4.8/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is intense and suspenseful. I really do like Fiona and all her stuff is actually pretty amazing. She is so full of herself however she portrays this innocence act that gets all of these guys to help her. I wonder what will happen next with the Kings.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I can't wait to see what will happen next for them and who the guy really is and Fiona.
Pleasantly surprised by this book. The storyline was interesting and there were a few twists and turns that I enjoyed. I was really surprised the one guy died so quickly in the beginning. I had thought he’d have a change in heart or what not, I was kinda sad he didn’t and then she killed him, I also was a little bummed that there wasn’t as much steam. Looking forward to the book.
I’ve been a fan of Ms. Moran’s since I first read Blood Match. This book takes place in a different territory than the other 2 series she has set in this crazy world, and I like how instead of the Blood Match Program, donors go to this academy to get into vampire households. I enjoyed that unlike the other two series, the guys aren’t already in charge, yet they still follow the coven positions we’re familiar with in this world. The different covens always fascinated me. I can’t wait to see where this series heads. The end was awesome. Quite the surprise that I didn’t expect. I do hope that there will be some cross over. I’d love to see Orlando visit the academy or something. I can’t wait to see where this world goes.
She isn't bullied. This isn't enemies to lovers. And the story gets your adrenaline going. You'd barely even know they were in an academy, as it is more if a backdrop than a plot point. She fights when needed, but only has one real point of pridefully stupid. Which she never gets a chance to act on. Highly recommend. Can't wait for book 2.
In this book we meet Fionna, a young dhamphir who runs away with her best friend to escape the life that's been laid out for her. Things don't go as planned and they end up at the Academy of Vampire Heirs. It's an interesting story and the ending will leave you wondering what just happened. I look forward to seeing what happens next
Dhampirs 101 is book 1 of the Academy of Vampire Heirs series. The idea behind the storyline is interesting, but I wasn't too excited about Fiona, who seemed to waffle back and forth between strong and weak. The worldbuilding could use a bit more work to help the reader maneuver through the details.
More please! I really loved reading about Fiona. She knew she didn't want that life planned out for her, so she took charge of it herself. I loved her character and how she was strong but also loved being protected by the King Coven.
I fell in love! I had read another series of hers so i decided to try this one. It was amazing. The characters are well thought out and they draw you in. With having some of the same things i was worried they would be the same but they are so different
This is a really different way of looking at the vampire nation and how it works. With an awesome change from your standard vampire books with the added bonus of being an RH what's not to love about this series. Book 2 here I come.
I had no idea how sexy a story could be without actual sex. The storyline is great and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait until I can read the next book!
There isn't a moment where you wonder if you are going to put this book down. I read through non stop. It is fast paced, incredibly sexy, and pulls you in.
I love the world created her and to watch her ability to adjust and adapt, to see the way the bonds develop between the different characters. This series has me hooked.
This book was very frivolous and lots of her wanting the men for their blood. I read it not for the plot but to entertain myself. I got the next one in line but not that I am staying super focused on it at all.
Holy roller coaster of emotions Batman. This book was wild. I haven’t read a book like this before. This book had more action then some series I’ve read. The ending is mind blowing

Omg ginna did it too me again with this one! This was such an awesome start to another series in this world ginna has created! Having a dhampir coming from a different upbringing and seeing more of how the blood rebels feel about them is so fascinating! I love this whole world and can't get enough of Fiona and the kings! I can't wait to see where this series goes from here!
