I found keto during my personal struggles with health and weight loss. It transformed my life ending my 8-year struggle with amenorrhea (missing period), hypothyroidism, adrenal dysfunction and ultra-low hormones. I immediately set out on a path to help others find the same success. My first online nutrition program The Keto Beginning launched in October 2014, Fat Fueled in November 2015 and Happy Keto Body in April 2018, in addition to my 3 paperback books.

As always, Leanne has knocked it out of the park. This book (and all of her other books) are the ULTIMATE keto resources, especially for women. Leanne starts this book out with a beginners guide to keto, listing myths and truths, and the science of why you should eat keto. She then has amazing food lists and food pyramids, teaches you how to make meals out of basic ingredients in your fridge, and then dives deep into loving yourself, healing your hormones with keto, and dealing with other roadblocks (pcos, adrenal fatigue, menopause, amenorrhea, etc.). I can't believe all the information that's packed into this book, and I'm highly recommending it to anyone that is eating a low carb diet, or anyone that's needs healing.

I love everything Leanne Vogel does! Her book The Keto Diet is my number one recommendation for those interested in the keto diet and lifestyle because it isn't keto junk food based nor is it high in dairy (it is dairy free in fact). This book has no recipes and is mainly a women's health guide. Useful for me when working with women with hormone imbalances. I will be lending out this book to patients too. I would say this is next-level keto and if you are a keto newbie, skip this book and go for The Keto Diet instead.

This book is thorough! There is a lot of information here, even for a veteran of the keto/low-carb lifestyle. This is a great place to start, or continue, or improve your low carb way of eating to meet the particular health concerns of women. It is not a cookbook, although there are a handful of recipes in it. This is a book that will help you to better understand how your own body works, and how a low carb diet can fit into your healing journey. I appreciate Leanne's non-rigid, down-to-earth, candid and flexible approach.

This book is amazing. Its clever, easy to understand and interesting. Leanne talks in a way we can all understand. This book is helpful if you've been on keto for a while or just starting out. It also has a lot of really great information that people who might not be full keto can totally take advantage of. If you are on the fence about this book, hop down off that fence and buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Leanne provides the most comprehensive, approachable, adaptable stance on the Ketogenic diet. Beautifully artworked, this book follows in the footsteps of "The Keto Diet" and "The Keto Diet Cookbook" in presenting practical recipes and profound "what ifs" that may be stumbling blocks in one's Keto journey. Overall, it's a great book.

Uno de los mejores y más completos libros sobre la dieta Keto que he leído. El enfoque que tiene hacia el cuerpo femenino y sus necesidades, hace de este libro un valioso manual para cada mujer. Esta dieta ha sido de las mejores que he probado y que continuo practicando. Después de usar la píldora anticonceptiva más tarde descubrí que también tenía síntomas de SOP y resistencia a la insulina, por mucho tiempo tuve muchos problemas para bajar de peso y regular mi ciclo hormonal nuevamente. Esta dieta me ha ayudado a perder los primeros 7 kg de 17 kg, ayudó a disminuir la inflamación y la retención de líquidos, disminuye los antojos y el hambre, ha mejorado mi PMS y mi ciclo, mi mente es más clara y alerta, mejora el humor y cada día descubro más mejoras en mi cuerpo. Definitivamente creo que la alimentación tiene mucho que ver en la salud del cuerpo y mente y la dieta Keto ha sido la mejor de todas. Muy recomendable.

This a must own for Women companion Keto book along with her first one. Three big things that stand out to me in these books the simplicity to follow the Keto program, customized to YOUR needs, and real recipes you would want to make and eat! ( so four major things) as I’ve discovered that many books either offer good recipes but painful to make, easy to make but don’t taste good or too expensive.

Hoping she puts publishes another recipe book in the future!

As someone who has done keto in the past and needed a refresher to get restarted, this was perfect. She does a wonderful job of promoting self love and body positive. I really enjoyed how she thoroughly went through the importance of not looking at keto as restrictive and using your body as a guide to do what’s best for you.

A lot of good information. Very detailed in several respects except it lacked in recipes and menus. I was hoping there'd be more suggestions on exactly what to eat and when. Even sample daily menus would have given me a hint as to how to proceed. Guess I'll need to supplement this book with a few others to fully take advantage of a keto experience.

This was a fantastic book and would recommend it to any woman who follows a keto diet or is interested in health for women. I have learnt so much and it has given me freedom instead of guilt about the way I choose to eat. Lots of interesting information!

Very interesting book, not the typical "diet" book. It has some personal stories and ways to alter keto for your unique body. Most of the stuff in the back did not apply to me but if you have specific issues with hormones, thyroid etc... she covers them at length.

I preordered this book and read it in a matter of 5 days. I am glad I bought it though because as someone who is in Keto for the long haul, this is a very invaluable resource to keep on hand. This book has EVERYTHING a woman thinking about, doing, or maintaining a keto lifestyle could ever want. It covers any and every type of keto benefit, how to troubleshoot problems you might run into, and it is packed with information, resources, and recipes. I also love that it has real pictures, charts, diagrams and it explains everything you need to know about anything you read in here. Leanne Vogel does a great job of not only backing up her facts with research and proof, but also putting the scientific aspects into terms even a simpleton can understand. She also covers modificaitons that can be made to the lifestyle as well as how to incorporate carb ups if you want. There is nothing keto that is not in this book. Stays on my bookshelf where I can come back to it to relook at anything I might need.

While I'll admit to already owning her other titles, this book is different, in a great way. It's geared toward keto for a woman because our journey is different from a man's. Vogel validates our stress and hormone fluctuations that determine how our body reacts on a daily basis. The language makes it easy to assimilate into your Keto knowledge, or if you're new to this way of life, a wonderful beginning. The pages are easy to read, the interior is beautifully designed, and the graphics are easy to follow. This book is an everyday reference for your questions about this lifestyle that will change your life from the inside out. Buy a copy, today, and by all means another one for your friends and family.

Loved, loved, loved this book. I highly recommend this book for ALL women who want to learn more about their body. This is not just a book for women eating Keto. This book is a wonderful resource for any women who wants to live a healthy life. There is so much in here... 400 pages of information on hormones, thyroid, food, stress, mind set, emotions, etc. There are lots of charts, tables, and graphs.
I have read a lot of books on health... this is hands down the best one I have ever read. Do yourself a favor ladies, pick up this book!!

Helpful information about the interplay of hormones. Eating program isn't really as complicated as this implies, however. Customize it and enjoy!
