I normally stay away from the young adults genre but this one is pretty special...it's amazing that the young adults were more mature and more responsible than they parents....falling in love....torn apart by selfless reasons....and then finding out devastating life changing family secrets....they still managed to excel and conquer the world despite life's obstacles..sweet dreams...real life
What other reviewers have said about this book is how I feel about this book. This does fall into the YA genre, but the main characters Zander and Bria were mature beyond their years, were sweet, kind, and talented. There are moments that will make you laugh, make you dip into rudimentary science and math, lol, and make you shake your head at the supposed grown folks and their immature shenanigans. This has a bittersweet end, but it's a worthwhile read.
Bria and Xander are amazing people. Given their level of maturity it's surprising that they are only 18. Kimmy and Bria were so brave and the bond between Xander and Kimmy was extraordinary. Everybody dreams of having such amazing siblings. Xander's dad was on the path of redemption in the end but the other 3 were hopeless, boderline despicable.
Did not finish!! Don’t know why I keep giving this author a chance. She keeps doing this weird ass “lovers or siblings” shit. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but 🤮
