This was such a great language textbook. Many of the issues with Beginning Biblical Hebrew were mended in this Intermediate one. The comics are placed throughout the book along with the chapters they match with, and it is fun that they are working through a continuous story. (They are also funny and actually helped me to better understand the biblical narrative!) The chapters give helpful explanations and activities and contain really helpful review sections. Overall a great textbook. I would love to go back through it sometime at a slower pace, when I'm not rushed to finish class assignments.

Great text. Teaching through inductive and deductive learning is Cook and Holmstedt’s MO and they do a great job. Fun concept as well.
