Keller Boniface...

Always by the book, Keller's mission is to locate an elderly psychic in Louisiana and be quick about it. A teammate is dying; there's no time to waste. But the land of voodoo, gris gris, and etouffe is the last place Keller wants to be. He left a nightmare here once, and hasn't been back since. Yet he's nothing if not efficient. He can locate that psychic and be gone in a day, maybe less. Until he runs into the psychic's great granddaughter... Until his own psychic gift tells him precisely who and what Savannah Church is...

Savannah Church...

Impulsive. Intuitive. Savannah's a free spirit who collects strays, rescues fighting dogs, and manages the local no-kill animal shelter. Her life is perfect until the morning Gran Mere dies. Savannah knew this day was coming, but she hadn't expected her great grandmother would leave with a whispered warning to, 'Look for the wild rose that grows deep in the bayou. Watch for the warlock. You alone hold the key...'

Growing up in the countryside of Wisconsin, I always wanted to be a writer. I've dabbled in poetry, short stories, and more daydreaming than most. Way back when, I remember long Sunday afternoon drives with my parents where they'd
tell us eight kids to, 'Look out the window and see something!'

I've been looking out the window ever since . . .

In the great Northwest pines, I saw a woman who had nowhere to run find refuge in the arms of a tender warrior seeking his own road to healing.
In the hills of Wyoming, I saw a broken man who thought he'd lost everything
rediscover the man he was in the eyes of a pretty girl.
And in the Dairy State, (yes Wisconsin), I saw two people fall in love
and overcome horrific obstacles on their way to happily-ever-after.

Life is short. Pick up a good book. Read. Write. Enjoy.
Look out the window and see something!

Paranormal mixed with a bit of military suspense, that's the Deuces Wild Team. Starting off immediately with Keller headed to the bayou to meet with a very old woman/witch. It seems a teammate is severely ill and only she can help. Who he meets is her great granddaughter, Savannah. She's awesome, caring for unwanted or abused dogs and cats, even some birds. Doesn't hurt that she's incredibly talented with her psychic abilities. It seems that she has made a few enemies, but Keller and team are willing to risk everything for their newest rookie. Lots of action, plenty of romance and many cameos by our favorite snipers from Winters' other series. I always enjoy the unique storytelling and interesting characters, could be great movie. I received an early copy and wrote this review voluntarily.

This fourth installment in the Deuces Wild series is an action packed and exciting romantic suspense. Special Agent Keller Boniface grabs your heart right from the beginning and doesn’t let go; as does Savannah Church. This book is filled with edge of your seat scenes and heart stopping scenarios that will keep you riveted from start to finish. I just couldn’t read this book fast enough! Another winner in this fabulous series and one you won’t want to miss.

Five stars are nowhere near enough for this one.

Keller is the newbie and sure doesn't feel like part of the team. He's given an assignment that could change the team forever. Life-saving mission. One of the team is dying and there is only one person who can help. She's in Louisiana--the last place he wants to go back to. No matter how much he rushed he was too late. She was gone. Died moments before he arrived. Her young great-granddaughter was there and he wanted to comfort her. She was beautiful, carefree, and fighting her pain.

Savanna had only her grand-mere and her animals from the no-kill shelter she ran. Now she was alone with the psychic skills inbred and honed with her grand-mere's tutelage. Could she help his co-worker? As an empath, he could help share her pain.

A strange pairing they are more than attracted. He can't let his personal feelings interfere. This is his job. She can't let these feelings in with her loss so recent. When an attack brings back her grans final warning they are paired together to save her and find out who is trying to hurt her and why.

The trip and situation bring back the pain of loss for Keller. His youth, his father, his wife all dead all the reason he doesn't want to be here. Still, he can't and won't leave Savanna to fight this battle alone.

Can Keller learn to let go of the past and find a future with his team and Savanna? Will he finally be part of the team and not just the newest guy? Of course for that to happen they will have to live and beat the evil forces after them.

There are twists, turns, mazes, psychic battles and breakthroughs and and and so much going on. It's so all-consuming that it's hard to put down until the end and then only because it is the end. Will they both live to even try to find a life together?

Readers prepare for a story feast with this one. Not a surprise from the author who never disappoints.

Ace: The Deuces Wild Series Book 4
Irish Winters
The Deuces Wild series is about people and the cards they represent. But further it’s about special people with special skills. About how these special skills help catch the most villainous and evil bad guys out there. But its also about people…
FBI Special Agent Keller Boniface is one of those special people. Like most of them you either accepted it or fought like a demon to hide it. Keller fought hard. It just did not fit him. It made him feel vulnerable. And Army Rangers don’t like feeling vulnerable.
Savanah Church is Mariposa Church’s Great Granddaughter. She inherited her “gifts” and was taught how to use them from birth. They never should have met, but fate threw that card in the mix. Then strange things stared happening. Who is the “Warlock” Gran Mere referred to? Keller and Savanah are extremely drawn to one another but fight it. Keller can’t help but feel overly protective of Savanah. Savanah keeps thinking “why do I feel safe with him, I don’t even know the man”! The attraction keeps growing, but so do the obstacles that keep getting thrown in their path. Why does the Keller’s past keep creeping in? For answers to this and many more questions that pop up, pick up a copy for yourself! Check in with more of the Deuces Wild Special Ops Team. See how they all come together to save a mate and take down the scourge! I really like this book!
I was given an ARC to read but the Review is all mine and freely given.

Once in Irish Winters new book “Ace,” the fourth book in the Deuces Wild series, I was hooked and could not put it down until I was finished. What I liked the best was the imagery, the descriptions. The way Irish Winter describes FBI Special Agent Keller Boniface Psychic abilities, with how he’s feeling around Savannah Church. Keller is sent to find Savannah’s great grandmother Mariposa Church to help Isaiah. Isaiah is dieing so Keller is sent to find her to learn her secret. Both Keller and Savannah are empaths. The things these two know about each other when the touch is amazing especially with the imagery and descriptions. Savannah’s great grandmother before she passed gave her a warning about a warlock and honestly I wanted to know who she was talking about. Was it Keller, who was it. Not only who is the warlock but does Isaiah get saved or is it to late. To find this out I believe as a reader you should find out. I highly recommend this book.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.

A Must Read!

The 4th book in the Deuces Wild series, Ace is an action packed read that keeps you begging for more. I could not put it down!

Special Agent Keller Boniface has never felt he belonged to this unique FBI team. Truth is, he didn’t feel he belonged much of anywhere. When he’s told to grab his go-bag and rush to meet with a level 10 psychic, he is less than thrilled.

Savannah Church is in mourning and is furious when someone pounds on the door, interrupting her moment of quiet pain. She flings several mental pushes to “go away” but this guy just won’t leave. In a fit a fury, she wrenches the door open and there stands one of the most lethal, beautiful creatures she has ever seen.

From the moment Keller and Savannah’s paths cross, sparks fly. While they work together on a life or death quest, it becomes very clear that something or someone is determined to stop them.

This age-old battle between light and darkness will keep you on the edge of your seat!

As always I LOVE Irish's work and this book is no different. I love how this team has the ability to hear what is going on in side some ones head and therefore I feel like we get a better and deeper connection to the characters. However the reason I only gave this one 4 instead of my normal 5 is because I felt Agent Keller was a little whiny and I would have liked to get the back story of what happened a little sooner and maybe a little more of it, it felt like it was just glanced at then moved on.
As for Savannah, I loved her character a lot but I felt she did not show much emotion with all that happened to her.
As for the story as a whole I loved it, I felt like I was in bayou and felt the love these two have for each other. I felt the panic of being chased down or running from the gators even if Savannah didn't show it I still felt it. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone and everyone.

The Deuces Wild series is like an onion, with multiple layers that just keeps drawing you in. Keller Boniface despises his place on the team, but there's nothing he won't do to save a brothers life. This is how he crosses the path of Savannah Church, right after she loses the only person in her life that matters...the very person Keller needed to get answers from.
Dark forces are at play, but Savannah and Keller need to work together in order to help Keller reach his full potential and save a life. Ace is an exhilarating ride, with plot twists that literally leap off the page and hold you hostage until you finish. Irish Winters makes me fall in love with this series after each new book, even more than I thought possible, and strengthens my belief in the unknown.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure I would like all the paranormal stuff but in typical Irish style, she weaves a web of suspense and intrigue that is hard to walk away from.

I love how Irish writes her characters as very REAL! We all have broken pieces in ourselves that can connect with Keller. On the flip side, I love the innocence she gives Savannah.

If you’re on the fence, go ahead and read it. The characters and love story are well written and you will connect with them on that emotional level Irish always pulls out of us.

I never know what to expect but I’m never disappointed. I love the twists and turns she takes us on. Another job well done, Irish!!

I loved it. There is action, romance, intrigue and some surprising revelations. Add in a little voodoo, magic and the psychic skills of the Deuces Wild Team. What more could you want? Keller is a new member of the team and is still uncomfortable with his psychic abilities. Savannah was raised by her great-grandmother who taught her many magic and psychic skills. Keller and Savannah are the perfect complement to each other. Irish Winters also did a beautiful job of describing the swamps and bayous of Louisiana. It's easy to picture traveling by boat through the dark and mysterious swamps with moss covered trees, the sounds of alligators, frogs and birds. The final action scene is movie worthy. In fact, the entire story would make a great movie. The DEUCES WILD SERIES is a series not to be missed.

I received a complimentary copy of ACE (Deuces Wild, Book 4) in exchange for an honest review.

Great book. A little paranormal and military combined.
When Special Agent Keller Boniface goes back to Louisiana to visit a women who can help his friend that’s all he cares about. She’s 103 and psychic. He’s not sure what voodoo she’s going to do. When he goes to the house something else happens.
He meets Savannah Church. He can feel her pain. The last thing he wants.

Savannah Church has just lost her Gran Mere when Special Agent Keller Boniface comes to her door.
What he wants she doesn’t know. But her Gran Mere
warned her about something.

See what happens.

Keller is a perfect fit into the Deuces Wild series. He is alpha, protective, has his baggage and falls hard for love. Savannah is the feather to Keller’s rock. She has her own grief and she gives Keller as much as he gives. Together they are combustible and yet the best thing for each other. Their combination is a must to solve what is happening and keep safe.

Irish Winters once again amazes with a story of deep intrigue and twists to follow. This is not an overnight reading book but it is definitely a five star one-click buy!

Keller is an empath. He is sent to Louisiana to find a woman who could save Isaiah. He found a whole lot more.
Savannah is the great granddaughter to the woman Keller came looking for. She runs Sanctuary, a place for animals. Not only has she just lost her great grandmother, now she is in danger. Keller is her savior.
Will they find out who is after and why? Can Savannah be the light that Keller has been hiding from.

Loved this book! Very different from her usual style of writing but still fantastic! Keller....a man who loathes himself so much that he denies himself companionship and love.
Savannah....the innocent yet wise beyond her years woman who changes all of that with her mind and passion.
This is a story with mellow moments that are then replaced by suspense with many twists and turns, keeping you guessing, and reading, until you find the answers!
Another must read by Ms Winters!

This book grabbed me from the start
To see what the Deuces Wild team were up to, to see where the story would take them and especially Keller, had me up all night reading.
This book continues the story of the team, and show's us where Keller's future lies, and with who it lies
Another great story by Irish Winters, one that you should definitely get

Ms. Winters never fails to amaze me with her characters. Ace is the fourth book in this series and Special Agent Keller is my new favorite hero, and his leading lady Savannah is just what he needs to “fix” him. Once you start reading you will not be able to put it down, fast paced, lots of action with memorable characters. Another great read by Irish Winters.

Good book.

The book is a little long in the tooth with the story but as all of Ms. Winter's work it is well worth the read.
