When I visited Kuala Lumpur, I accidentally passed the bookstore and saw this graphic book was on the best seller rack.
At first I was attracted to the cute cover. Why not collect one of Malaysian author’s book. Then I decided to buy one. Actually I planned to buy from the first book, but the bookstore didn’t have it. So I just bought this newest volume.

If you are curious about Malaysian culture, then this book is right for you. Well, this book is specifically talking about Kuching and the culture. The story took place around 90s.
I was born on that era. Most of the stories were so legit. I am Indonesian, and I see that we have almost similar culture. What the main character had experienced, I experienced it too!

This book will confuse kids these days haha
In some parts, Miao told us about his village, where the kids playing their traditional game. Oh my god, I played that too in my hometown!

If you wanna know about Malaysian culture, this book is a nice book for reference. Not a serious book, can be read by everyone.

I hope the will talk more about interesting culture in the next book.
