As soon as I read the title of this book and I saw its cover, I knew that I was going to love it since action stories really enthrall me. Anyway, I wasn’t ready for the way in which it absorbed me from the very beginning. I absolutely enjoyed this masterpiece which appeals to any kind of reader since it is really interesting and captivating. I really liked the premise of the story and I dare to say that when the main character, an orphaned boy, joined the Air Force, I felt that anything could be possible in life. Page after page, the author, Ed Benjamin, included amazing plot twists and turns that shocked me and the amazing use of descriptive imagery made me feel as if I were in the story all the time. I have just finished this book and I completely adored it! I highly recommend it.
An action-packed novel The first thing that caught my attention was the original cover of the book, then I read the first chapter and I was hooked by the story. “Redemption” is a great novel written by Ed Benjamin. He has penned a story surrounded by planes, weapons and details about this great force worth for people who love planes. In fact, I learned a lot from this reading and I think that anyone who loves planes will enjoy it. The main character is well-developed and dynamic at the same time. Even though his life is harsh, he was able to change it for the better. The story is a fusion of drama and action. There are several turns and twists that made the reading very compelling. I thoroughly recommend it.
“Redemption” is a superb thriller book. The rich descriptions, the interesting protagonists and good-described settings hit the bullseye. It tells the story of an orphaned teenager who enrols in the Air Force.
I really liked this book because of the interesting and intriguing story, the amazing character development and the engaging dialogues. Also, it was full of twists and turns that I didn't see coming and that made me jump out of the chair. If I were to make one criticism of the book, it would be that it isn't longer so I will be waiting for the next book because it left me wanting more. I am giving five deserved stars.
“Redemption: Episode 1” is a fiction written by Ed Benjamin.
The story is mainly set in contemporary times, since it describes a talented pilot’s life and struggles during the Iran/Iraq border war.
The plot is credible and interesting from the very beginning, with particular situations and events that kept me on the alert.
Because I could not empathise with the main character, I was not fascinated with the whole tale. However, it is well-written and it is easy to follow, too. The end is open and kept me waiting for the second episode. After all, it is a good short story to pass the time.
