This is an excellent book which clearly explains in layman's terms some theological terms which can be tricky to understand: resurrection, regeneration, justification, adoption and election, to name just a few. The latter is my personal favourite, as getting your head round it can be so difficult and confusing. Natalie's book contains easily the most straightforward and clear explanation I have read to date, reminding us of God's sovereign purposes, and His choice of Jacob over Esau. She also uses some excellent analogies (for example, "doctrine is like Alaska - magnificent!"), and highlights our sense of entitlement, expounding on the mystery of grace. Most importantly, the author emphasises that salvation is a person: the Lord Jesus Christ. Only He is the way, the truth and the life.
