NO! This is NOT a book about Usama bin Ladin (aka Osama bin Laden). Though he was considered the world’s No.1 terrorist for nearly 10 years, bin Laden was responsible for the deaths of less than 6000 people.
The protagonist in this book is responsible for the deaths of at least 7.3 million people since World War II, not including an estimated 177,000 people killed in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings.
In this spine-chilling book, Amit Bagaria takes us through an extraordinary journey of illegal/immoral acts carried out by Unjust Satan America (USA) against 82 sovereign nations, which are mostly unknown to the average reader even within USA. He tries to show us how, in one way or the other, USA has bullied its way to global dominance – interfering in our day to day lives, working perhaps for the benefit of only its super powerful Military Industrial Complex – which he describes in detail.
“USAma” is a term Bagaria has coined to describe USA. Either through drones or airstrikes, surgical strikes or full-scale military invasions, USAma has created havoc in more than half the world, he says. In other countries, different types of weapons have been used – from porn films to poison, from blackmailing to torture, from fake news to fake public protests – all through CIA.
Even the most educated amongst us have been made to believe that USA is justified – as the global policeman – in helping weaker nations fight evil, whether in the form of Communism or Islamism. This is despite the fact that, to serve its own selfish purposes, USA has supported some of the most brutal dictators, helped in the establishment of fundamentalist Islamic regimes, and even supported Communist regimes in some cases. THAT is the power of American propaganda.
His parents thought he was studying business administration in the USA. He was actually studying journalism.
His parents thought he was doing case studies on IBM and Pepsi. He was actually interviewing the Governor of Ohio or a convicted murderer in jail.
When he was a consultant for the Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital in Pune, he told Rajshree Birla and Kumar Mangalam Birla their offices would be in the Basement of the Hospital.
As an entrepreneur, Amit has been India’s No.1 Healthcare Consultant, India’s No.1 Retail Consultant, and India’s No.1 Residential Real Estate Consultant, apart from excelling in several other sectors.
As a Retail Consultant, he wrote prolifically for various retail publications. For one article, he interviewed several industry leaders, including Kishore Biyani, considered the father of modern retail in India. Little did poor Mr. Biyani know that Amit would lambast him in the article. The next time they ran into each other, Mr. Biyani told Amit that - being a fellow Marwari - he should have been less critical of him.
It was the same article that led a leading publisher to approach Amit to write a book - back in 2010, but that part of Amit’s life only began 7 years later. When he did begin, he did not stop or even pause. He has completed 11 books in 26 months and is now working on his 12th.
This book by Amit exposes the double stances of the USA on several strategic and international fronts. The author accuses the USA of indulging in unfair means of supporting terrorism (indirectly and directly). Also, the author suggests, on the basis of facts, that USA has been involved in multiple murders (in millions). If you want to understand Amit's perspective and know more about his reasons to call USA the USAMA, you need to read this book!
This one is the best book by an Indian author (in non-fiction genre) that I have read on the issue of global terrorism and the spread of it by proxies that the USA supply around the world. Amit has exposed the hypocrisy of the United States in a way that you will like to read - backed up with facts and figures and the data and secret information that will suffice the arguments' validity... you should read this book if you like knowing things about global politics.
Book: USAma (Is USA the world's largest terrorist?) Author: Amit Bagaria
Central Idea: This book is a well researched masterpiece in exploring the world's most important aspect of terrorism especially when it comes to big corporations. Terrorism isn't only a political issue rather it has turned out to be an evil vestige for profits in certain organisations. Is USA one of them, is a big question which the reader would explore once delved into the book.
My Take: I started this book thinking that it must be an exaggeration of the terrorist groups and one of them would be Osama Bin Laden for an honest take but to my surprise, I explored something intriguing and mysterious about the countries supporting war. I couldn't keep the book down after realising the factual aspects of what is actually happening around us and we need to open our eyes ASAP. The book is written in a different perspective of how we actually see stuff when it comes to war.
Critique: A soft critical perspective would be that although the book is well researched and informative but a bit repetitive at a few places. Other than that, it is a fantastic and lucid read provided the fact we embed the reality certainly.
P.S. It is a recommended book on top of the list as it is sure to create an indelible imprint on the reader's mind!
An excellent book, meticulously documented and precisely supported with references and footnotes. An absolutely eye opening of US policies that is a must read if you are seeking to make sense of what is happening and why. Needless to say this book is full of facts. Author Amit Bagaria has done a great job here. The book is well researched. I give this book 5 stars. It is an easy read and a page turner. If you read it well you will want to take time to stop and reflect and even jolt down notes to yourself. Outstanding book. The Title and cover page of the book is apt to the content. This book should come with a warning label because it explains everything. You will understand why the world is the way it is. Why there is suffering and war and the unexplainable is explained. A must read . Highly recommend.
This is a complete...if you can say biased opinion that has been written in the book. I am in no position to complain as i don't know much details in these matter.
I know USA has done some serious attrocities and is still doing some, and this book clearly tells us so but you can feel the anger between the lines which indicates a clear "anti" image.
1st of all it is great to have these informatioms. 2nd it would have been great to have it without the biasness.
Amit has done a wonderful job in this book. He has proved to the readers that the USA has always been hypocritical about its stand on many things - terrorism, finance, and many other things. This book is voluminous and also very rich in terms of research and content. However, it will not be ideal for general readers. It will be good only for those readers who love reading books like this one - on serious issues of international importance.
This is a surprising book for me because I have been in a delusion that the USA actually combats terrorism around the world and makes the world a better place for all. However, after reading this book, I am certainly sure that everything is about the politics of power and pressure. Amit Bagaria has certainly become one of the top strategic brains in the country right now and with books like this one, with complete and astute analysis, his reputation is only going to increase.
Amit Bagaria gives statistics and numbers to bring the USA's crimes (it legalizes in its own ways) to light. If you follow global politics, you will just like the book by Amit that provides data, numbers and also back-of-the-curtain stories to convince people how cruel and insane is the USA in reality as opposed to what it provides to the public otherwise.
Well, on this we all can agree that the USA is indirectly supporting the terrorist groups with the supply of arms and weapons. However, the author has gone to a further extent and tried to call the USA as a terrorist nation. I certainly not believe in this argument. Usama was the deadliest terrorist of all time that has been neutralized by the USA and raised by the USA as well. There is a whole cow web in the field where the USA is trying to establish his hegemony on the supply of arms. The book by Amit talk on these points and provides us with everything in detail with facts and figures.
“I have heard about Osama but when I saw USAma, I knew there is something beyond the title. This is a 480-page book but you would find each and every page, let alone chapter, interesting. This is not the usual book which you would have read in the past. There are few things I knew but there are lot more, I did not know until I read this book. Author’s style of writing is marvellous. The chapters I liked the most were: POTUS 43, Lily Pads, Land of 80 Dictators, Vampires and Paprika, Java Coffee, Persian Carpets, to name a few.”
The world is a strange place and we often meet with confused notions... USAma meets the readers with very complex facts but true data and correct figures that will strike the readers with mythbuster elements - shedding the wrong perceptions about the state of America. I enjoyed this book by Amit and I am sure many more will do.
There is so much that goes on in this story. It demands all of your attention. Undivided one at that. Are we just going to ignore the fact that communist China joined north korea in the war ? Unleashing a massive ground attack against American forces ? Back to the time when China became communist and thereby communists were in control of north vietnam. Yes America took measures over a belief that communism might expand all over the south east Asia. Also there is no solid evidence that CIA directly supported taliban or al Qaida. It has been claimed in the book that mr. Clinton faught battle in Somalia ? Let’s get the facts straight here. We all know how the US soldiers were killed and dragged through the streets by somalia gang. You must go through the article in its original context from October 8, 1993. I won’t justify America’s decision to use nuclear bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was right but what Japan did was no way right. It’s all so morally wrong. Both are to be equally blamed. Have you even watched pearl harbour ? If not, you should. Plus I don’t understand, I’m unable to understand why on earth mr. trump would defend Saudi Arabia despite the country’s involvement in killing of Khashoggi. Remember when president bush sent in 28,000 troop as part of United Nations humanitarian mission. I would like to quote my favourite lines here “we came to Israel to rescue innocent people in a burning house. We’ve neatly put the fire out but some smouldering embers remains” My favourite part from this whole book is where che Guevara and fidel Castro part comes. I personally feel that instead of putting all that effort it needs to portray USA as the USAma, things could have been handled In a much better way. I would not agree to all that has been written in the story. The author should have looked at every possible angle. There should’ve been ‘why America did what it did’ instead of portraying it as a big bad guy. There shall always be little truth from every side. There must be. Things should be analysed and every word should be reflected upon before arriving at a possible conclusion. I’m not defending the actions of USA but there could always be a bit of goodness and that goodness should have been included in this story and should have been written about, is what I oh so strongly feel. Because words, my friend demands to be written with conscience and requires deep understanding from every possible perspective. I express my sincere appreciation for the author’s effort. It deserves all of it.

White supremacy, like nearly everything else, has been fundamentally altered by globalization. Charlottesville -- actually, the entire United States -- is just one battleground in a far larger war. Unless America understands the full scope of this conflict globally, we will remain vulnerable to white supremacist ideology spreading within our borders.
In the 21st century, no ideology exists in a vacuum. The Nazis and Nazi sympathizers of old were often constrained by nationalism: "Deutschland Uber Alles" for the Third Reich, "America First" for US isolationists in 1940. Today's neo-Nazis have been freed from the fetters of nationalism by social media as well as by an overarching goal. Charlottesville was an American manifestation of what Morris Dees and J. Richard Cohen of the Southern Poverty Law Center calltransnational white supremacy. In some neo-Nazi circles it has been described as a "reconquest," a nod to the Reconquista crusade by Christians to reclaim Spain from Muslim rule in the Middle Ages.
This is the story of truths about the real bad man. Title is very creative and innovative. This book opens out all the hidden conspiracies of USA that's why authors put this title USAma. This book talks about the white supremacy of USA all over the continents. This ia very factual based book, and author is courageous that's how he portrayed all the negative angles without any hesitation and he's very confident that he's factually very correct.
Not an easy read it was but author himself explained all the difficult terms and situations alog with the plot.
Am impressed with the research work. Somehow it was little boring and draggy but at the point of informative content there's full marks for that.
This book explain the negatives of USA i hope there could be another perspectives as well, still i liked the content and am sure I'll read it again for a better grip on content.
This was my second book from Author, I had a day before completed the other one, I was already into zone of that book and took to this and trust me, it's not at all disappointing were it just got interesting. This book is totally different from , Spies, Lies And Red Tape. Coming to this Now, I know, I know from title many of you will think that it's about Usma Bin Laden, same happened with me but it's not that way! It's a totally different book, a fact based book. Here, the author had used the term USAma to describe USA.Author had portrayed journey of illegal acts carried on 82 sovereign nations, then the global dominance by USA on all other nations and many such incidents are explained in this book. Title to some extent describes the book, author like I said previously in Spies, Lies And Red Tape here in this book had done well research. As the book progresses the research and efforts put out stand among all making book a page turner. Special thank you for adding that glossary part at the beginning which already cleared and sorted out many parts. It's a fact based book focusing on many important issues which are internationally required to be known , and as I noted some points while reading it were worth. Some unknown facts were made known to me. Coming , to writing style Now, it's something I found very interesting the way the author points out or describes any event. Today, international relations play a keynote in our country's overall development and as a sincere citizen I think everyone should be aware about some basic facts. Author had very well pointed out some key facts and events here. Book is an eye opener to all and I think everyone should read once. Kudos to author for writing such an interesting book, I'm gonna definitely pick it up again in future soon. Reading it is worth the time !!
What I liked the most is the guts of the author who clearly mentions in the beginning of the book that he has taken all due diligence to give the information and if there is anything that is incorrect, it is the duty of the respective organization to prove him wrong. Courageous? Yes. Ambitious? No. It just shows the confidence the author has on his research and knowledge. The author has studied in the US but is daring enough to bring out some startling revelations for us. He wants to bring to the limelight what is actually happening in the world. The book is different from any I have read till date. It’s a treasure trove of facts and shows how deep the author has gone into researching them. All events are explained in great detail. If you want to read about the various tricks and tactics the US has deployed across the globe in order to establish their hegemonic dominance and their supremacy over the world, this is the best book you can get your hands on. The author has actually cited real events that happened in the past involving the real leaders with dates and event sequences. We really need to consider the recent F-21 offer to India. This is not mentioned in the book but this book has expanded my knowledge and curiosity to know more about the world I live in. To know it’s reality. The author has included a 23 page glossary after the preface page which alone is pretty helpful. The title is innovative as is the content. This is not like my usual reviews. But I don’t really want to spoil the book so I’m not mentioning what exactly I’ve read. But I strongly recommend this book.
Blurb ~ NO! This is NOT a book about Usama bin Ladin (aka Osama bin Laden). The protagonist in this book is responsible for the deaths of at least 7.3 million people since World War II, not including an estimated 177,000 people killed in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings.
My Thoughts ~ This book showcase some bitter truth about wars & also show the true face of USA with their involvement in wars in recent years. Over the period of time we have only talked about terrorism & The politics over it. Discussions kept going on but no one tried to see it in a different way. And that's the thing this book tried to show us.
Positive Points ~ The story is unique & talk about the dark side the USA which we've never read anywhere. Which I really liked. ~ The language is hard but author tried to make it simple by explaining all the things going on in the book. ~ The topic is sensitive & complicated yet author wrote & explained it in a beautiful way. We can see he has written everything from his heart. And also shared his emotions through many sentences. ~ The narration is also fluid.
Overall ~ It's a good book with a good topic & writing style & narration. The Story will hold you up & it's full of Dark truths which will tell you about a lot of things. I really liked this book.

This book is well researched text based on actions and reactions of USA to situations and events which happened in past and their repercussions to future. USAma- Is USA the world’s largest terrorist is not based solely on USAs response to Osama Bin Laden but rather this book documents the journey of USA who suffered the Great Depression and yet merged out as warrior with arsenal worth swooning. It shows how USA used its arsenal and prowess in establishing its hegemony and how it is capable of negotiating the decisions of other countries in its favour without showing iron hand it possess. This book made me think of Shavit’s The Promised Land- the triumph and tragedy of Israel. Both documents the journey of nations respectively . Shavit incorporates interviews as chapters and Bagaria incorporates institutions. What I missed in this book is any kind of connection with the author. Author is clinical in his approach and seems to make no effort to connect with his readers.
Overall, this book is a refreshing read if you like reading on modus operandi Of USA.
The book title would make you presume that it's about terrorism and most importantly the name USama would make you correlate with Osama bin Laden. But no. Though the book does talk about wars, it is not the story of Osama bin Laden.
With the turn of things taking place in day to day international stage, and USA trying to dominate, most people would already be reeling under the question whether US is a terrorist nation.
With US being the prime power in the international stage, the book reveals shocking information if how the wars came into picture. With the People of the nation not agreeing to one, but the greedy thought of leaders imposing expenses and destruction, some truths are hard to digest.
Also seeing the amount of expenses they incur in the name of war and the taxes that are imposed, it is quite a sad state.
Writing is simple and easier to understand. A book that makes you aware of scenes from international stage. The book also showcases the hardwork of the author that is evident from the research that has gone into topics.
TITLE: USAma(2nd Edition): Is USA the World's Largest Terrorist? AUTHOR: Amit Bagaria STYLE: First Person narration REVIEW There is so much that goes on in this story. USAma(2nd Edition): Is USA the World's Largest Terrorist? The language used by the author is lucid and complexThe title seemed more like it’s about bin Laden, but no it is purely about America and it’s terror background. The book is about a really sensitive topic (as mentioned in the title) and commenting on it won't be right on my part. Although there were indeed a few things that I agree with. But the book is really long and felt little dragged. This book is all about USA how USA rise as a super power. How use it's international image, military and politics power to manipulate worlds organizations and other Nation like india,China,European nations etc. in this book author talk about 24 nations Explain that how USA use it's mighty financial power and military power to rule over world. what kind of political and intelligence system they have for there so called super power tag. They use other nationa to fight for USA in past against USSAR and now days China is target due to China is rising power. so you will get a deep analysis and facts to understand USA manipulation over world. I can say author express that America is big bad boy but I think he also have to explain back story about all this incidence like why America take action in Afghanistan why America support Arabs etc. Otherwise a well research work but it's all smells like he is 'anti' and present America as a bad nations
This book left me with a different feeling towards America. The impressive part is that the author have given a brief explanation of what is what in the beginning. For the readers to not fall into a pitch of confusion. The book gave me a different emotion for America, because America isn't what you see, it has lot more in it. The language used by the author is lucid and complex,, but the complexity doesn't come up as an issue as the author have described every such word prior and it is handy throughout the book. The author have done impressive research in bringing up this topic and delivered in an impressive manner.. The efforts put up by the author is clearly reflected in the book. The title seemed more like it's about bin Laden, but no it is purely about America and it's terror background. Overall a great experience reading this book.
A comprehensive account of how US has gotten itself involved in the internal matters of so many countries around the world. The symbiotic relationship between the MIC and the wars that US has been waging around the world is truly an eye-opener. This book had me looking at every single one of US moves with skepticism and concern. It has changed my perception that US was the torch-bearer of peace and democracy in the world.
All that said, if not for the active involvement of US against communist and socialist dictators, perhaps the world would have been taken over by more and more authoritarian governments.
The book is thrilling at the beginning and is quite successful in keeping one's attention. But, it starts to feel like a text book towards the end, venturing too much into the details.
New perspective on one of the most developed countries
USAma is a story revolving around USA and their illegal or immortal acts on 82 sovereign nations. This book is a surprising read for me because right from my childhood all I heard about USA is that it is a dream country to get settled and earn in dollars. There were very few instances where I heard some one speak something negative about them. And this book comes into the second category. Though most of the things narrated in the story seemed real but is really very hard to digest.
Review: - The cover is beautiful and attractive. - The title is unique and that is the main reason for me to pick this book. - The story is narrated well presenting all the scenarios to the point. - Good usage of vocabulary.
Overall, a very good read providing insights on political aspects and CIA of USA. This book will surely leave us thinking Is USA the world's largest Terrorist?
What I liked about the book is the raw emotions implant and the reality was shown on a differnt aspect. This book asks for your undivided attention from the beginning. I loved the way the author wrote the book it's able to strike a impression with the readers. Her simple but encapsulate pattern of writing not only proffer a quality reading but learning too. The book is scrupulously planned and the topics are divided in sections with proper research. The author made an in depth research about the topic hence this book can be even be use for academic purpose as there is colossal amount of knowledge.
This Book USAma by Amit Bagaria is a very interesting and most unique book that I have ever read. Reading this book will give you think along with chills and will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The author Amit has written in detail about the insight of the USA nation, various influentials, strategic cunning, powerful communities, and many more topics in a very impressive way.
I like the pictures that made the book very insightful and more interesting to read the facts about them. The highlight of the book is the detailed description of many real-life individuals and facts about them, which made the book truly a very fascinating book to read and a must-read book.
Who is a terrorist and who is not? We cannot only judge on the basis of some basics that we have been given to understand by others. For USA, anyone and any country can be declared a terrorist or a terrorist nation as per their convenience and it is not a good thing for the world. Amit Bagaria exposes the duplicity of the USA on these fronts and that is why he has given a title with an intended pun - USAma. The book has facts, data, research findings and many other elements that will help the readers understand why the USA has been called the terrorist by the author.
I read this book as a book on global politics of otherwise nature - power-grabbing and self-satisfying ends should be pursued at any cost and this is what the US has been doing all these years. Amit Bagaria presents data and facts that will let you realise how deep-rooted are the policies of covert nature that guide the CIA and US Army to grind the ax of power and control on world politics. You can judge for yourself whether the author is justified or not in calling the US a terror organisation...
Who invested in terrorism heavily? Which country tries to create confusion on several fronts in different countries around the world for its gains on several fronts? Which is the country that often indulges its propaganda machinery in the politics of many nations around the world... reading this book will tell the readers how the USA has been very instrumental in the spread of terrorism (by other means) in the world.... and how dirty is the game of international affairs for many big countries in the world.
