Anatomy for Dental Students

Rate this book
This volume provides dental students with an understanding of the gross, neurological, and developmental anatomy underlying dentistry and its major specialties. Emphasis is placed on the structure, function, development, and growth of the oral cavity and its surroundings, while aspects of anatomy which are necessary for an understanding of the general morphology and function of the body are also stressed. Wherever possible adult human structure is explained on developmental or comparative grounds, and clinical applications are included when they stem directly from anatomical structure. The second edition includes a revised and updated section on neuroanatomy, as well as many full-color illustrations and a useful glossary.
