This is a fab Slow Build Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance and this boxset has all 6 novels! Well written the story has a slow start but OMG does it soon speed up!! Action packed you will soon be hooked as you follow their journey. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and you will experience a whole rollercoaster of other emotions and the twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat! A fantastic series whichever version you pick up!

I couldnt have loved a series more. This was genuinely one of my favourites by far. Wise-cracking, Smart-a**ed main female character - Lisbeth.....check, Hot males - Arthur, Knight and Bathazar....check, Great back stories....check, Jaw-droppin cliffhangers - definitely check, a few tears...check as well as smoking hot sex......MASSIVE CHECK!!! Its just series of books filled with it all. A damn fine read all round

This box set is absolutely a must have. As always well written stories with a great storylines and plots. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry and passion in them. If you enjoy romances that offer plenty of sizzling heat, dirty naughtiness and a taboo edge you can not go wrong with this very entertaining and enjoyable collection.

I love being able to read a whole series without waiting for the next book. I read for hours wanting to know what would happen next. We have some action, suspense, and three guys wanting Lisbeth. What will happen in the war? What will happen with the zombies? Can she handle three men? Where will her life bring her? Can she do everything? I received a free copy for my honest review.

Elizabeth Dunlap’s The Born Vampire series is an exciting and thrilling read. The story begins with born vampire, Lisbeth, going on the run after breaking vampire law. She develops relationships along the way with: Knight a lone werewolf, Arthur the vampire hunter who was sent to retrieve her to face her crime, and Balthazar the Incubus who has always been in her life. The novel takes unexpected turns as Lisbeth’s responsibilities grow throughout the story. The Born Vampire series is full of adventure, romance, conspiracy, war, and a zombie apocalypse. This is the not suitable for work (NSFW) version to the story; therefore, recommended for adult readers.
Vampire Academy and Twilight meet the Walking Dead. Elizabeth Dunlap created an amazing world that would be perfect as a movie or television series. The six books flowed together seamlessly making it feel like I read one book. The story is skillfully written and hard to put down. Elizabeth Dunlap did a great job adding actual history to her story to make it feel credible. The characters are well-developed and grow throughout the novels. They were all uniquely different adding to the experience. I personally love Knight’s humor. It reminded me of DeadpooI, whom he idealized. I found the novel tastefully written, slowly building into a reverse harem relationship. I was glad that this book contained the complete series because I did not want to wait to find out what happened next. Lisbeth is an older vampire that is just living her life in the order. She was out for a run when she ends up between the vampire and lycan border. There is a young child that passed the boundary. She refuses to kill him, the alpha can not believe that a vampire will spare a lycan child. He gives her his bracelet to protect her if she ever goes in to their territories but also says he will help her in the future.
Then one day the hunters show up at the order looking for someone that could be her. Arthur is the head hunter, he is gathering information that will come back that she was the one that saved the child. Her friend warns her that it is her that Arthur is there for, she needs to run.
She runs and meets a Knight, he doesn't smell like a normal lycan. She is attracted to him, he decides to stay with her and protect. They keep running to avoid the hunters.
There are some close calls, they find a town that humans and vampires are getting along. The person James has them all under his control, he then controls Lisbeth, but with Knights help she over comes it all. They get out of that town. Lisbeth and Knight have acknowledged their feelings for one another.
The hunters and the Lycans find them both, they are ripped apart from each other.
Lisbeth was held captive in her room, no vistors, no going outside, nothing. She is losing her mind of that they put Knight to death. She starts to lose her mind. That she sleeps with Balthazar, her friend. She finds out she is pregnant with his child. She keeps seeing Knight in her head.
She has gotten close to Arthur, then he admits his feeling for her after the head of the order is kidnapped when the turned rebelled. That is just some of what has happened.
This is series has non-stop action, with everything going on with Lisbeth, her family, her loves. This series keeps reading and wanting more. I love how the author has drawn out the Lisbeth's love of her men. It is nicely written, not something that is rushed.

Knight of the Hunted - Wow!!! This story starts slow and builds over time. By the end I was crying so hard it hurt. This is not an HEA. It also ends in a sort of cliffhanger, but it's still a gr8 read. I can't wait to read the next story.
Child of the Outcast - Holy shiznet!!! This story was gr8. Lisbeth is under house arrest while the council decides her fate. During this time she becomes pregnant. Secrets are revealed, the turned become dangerous, friendships are made, so many things happening. And through it all, Lisbeth constantly thinks of Knight. I can't wait to read the next story.
War of the Chosen - Holy shiznet!!! Knight is back. This story was gr8. All the turned vampires were going to war to eradicate the born vampires. Lisbeth brought the lycans on board to help them fight in this war. Lisbeth & Knight had a rocky time adjusting to them both being slice after they each thought the other was dead. She takes Knight go in search of a famous vampire, & finds more than she bargained for. I can't wait to read the next story.
Bite of the Fallen - Gr8 quick story. Things are really heating up with the uprising & between Lisbeth & Arthur. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
Rise of the Monsters - Wow!!! This was so punk. To think that with all the drones changing the world people, (vampires, humans, & lycans), would band together to end them. But nope, not all did. Kitty is searching for her family. When she finds them, all is not as it should be.
Time of the Ancients – Wow!!! I was so scared for Lisbeth, afraid she wouldn’t get her mates or children back. I’m so glad she did.
I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

This series is a journey that takes us through large time jumps and even time travel. It is a slow burn RH, emphasis on the slow, you can see feelings between the MFC and 2 of the guys but the harem doesn't truly happen until the last book, but has steamy scenes throughout the series. The first 3 books follow Lisbeth a born vampire as she sets into motion something that will change the very world as she knows it all by saving a young boy who has yet to become a Lycan, the vampires current enemy. Through the books she is on the run, finds love, goes through torture, and so much more. The books are full of love, action, adventure, pain, and everything you could every imagine. Book 4 is 20 years in the future and follow a beloved male characters POV giving us a unique insight to his character. This gives us view of the world after the war at the end of book 3 before the apocalypse event kicks up. The end leaves you with a sense of worry for the future, pregnant Lisbeth, the men, and her daughter Kitty. Book 5 picks up yet another 20 years in the future from the previous book following Kitty this time and occasionally Dreya, Lisbeth's other daughter, to give you a full view of the post-apocalyptic world we find ourselves in. It ends with a HEA...or not it was actually a red herring. Book 6 starts right where book 5 leaves off and Lisbeth gets thrown into a whole new adventure that takes her back in time to where this all began. The book follows Lisbeth on her journey to right what went wrong while still getting her men and everything she lost along the way while introducing new characters/creatures. Finally it ends with the HEA Lisbeth saw in her prophetic dream in a previous book.

**Knight of the Hunted
Adventure and action mixed with a bit of romance. This is a wonderful and intriguing start to an amazing series. I cannot wait to see where the series goes. This takes a creative route with vampires and creates a wonderful through creative world building.
**Child of the Outcast
This is a very well written addition to The Born Vampire Series. All the characters are strong with the support of and are supported by a strong plot. The steep cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat for the next book.
**War of the Chosen
Laughter, action, love/romance and war are all a part of what makes this book such a great read. This is a wonderful addition to the Born Vampire series. It is easy to follow. I love the Lisbeth's relationship.is slow growing and you get to not only read about her development but also the relationship.
**Bite of the Fallen
This is a read that captures your attention easily to the point you will not know that you were close to the end of the book. This has some very hilarious moments and is very well written. I like the change in POVs and how effortless the transition is.
**Rise of the Monsters
I really loved the continuation of this series. It is filled with adventure and action. This very well written and has amazing characters. I like the prologue and how it illustrates the fallout. The world building is absolutely amazing creating a vivid world.
**Time of the Ancient
The time travel is done so well in this book. There are great new dynamics, new discoveries, and new truths that will throw you for a loop. This read has highs and low that are both hearth breaking and warming.

Holy freaking moly!
Ok so I am going to review the nsfw box set as a whole, and then go back to review each book separate. I honestly will have to go back for book endings but here it doesn't matter. The books just flow so well from one to the next, but you don't get lost if you take a break between books.
You start off slow in the beginning. But stuff does speed up. Bad stuff goes down, but our MC stays by her morals. She finds love and a (fri)enemy? But only time will tell. Once our first dilemma is solved we add a new one which was given its beginnings early enough that it doesnt seem forced! (Side note I hate when the next dilemma is forced)
Throughout all the books nothing seems forced, it all blends together well, even when you transfer POV's in the one book (I will have to note the book # later) it still makes sense!
Although I kinda hate the author for the first part of book 6. I totally bawled. But in the end everyone is happy and healthy and together.
I will be recommending this series (both YA and nsfw) to my friends. I just want to add that I would love spin offs.

"The Born Vampire" series, is the entire boxset of a complete paranormal slow build reverse harem series. In it, Lisbeth is one of the older born vampires, living a bit of a sheltered life in her order, when the decision to spare someone starts a chain of events she never saw coming. No good deed ever goes unpunished...
I really love some of the connections Lisbeth already had to certain people, and the new ones she forms throughout the series. All of the relationships she has with people, come with a certain complication involved, and all of that togethers creates an interesting dynamic. Balthazar is a fascinating character, one with a lot of mysteries surrounding him, and I still feel like there is a lot more to him to discover. Her relationship with Knight is a true star-crossed lovers dynamic, and the enemie-to-slovers dynamic with Arthur is off the charts hot. Even though this series holds a slow building harem, it's not slow in the burning level, so there is still spice involved in the entire series.
This series took me on a crazy ride, even involving an apocalyptic storyline at some point, and I loved it from start to finish.

Decent Read
So I stopped in the middle of book 3 I just couldn’t continue. SPOILER ALERT….. this is not the traditional ready built reverse harem where everybody is ok with sharing but that’s not the problem.
Book 1 she falls in love with the werewolf and it ends with her thinking he died because of her.
Book 2 she’s in such deep mourning of her mate that she sleeps with her “best friend “ to get out of her depression after just get this 5 months smh. Then she gets pregnant immediately.
Book 3 she finds out that the werewolf if alive and instead of welcome him she is rude and dismissive. She completely ignores her “mate” lol.
I just stopped reading there were a few spots were I was put of with the writers plot choices and decision but I just couldn’t keep reading from the absentee baby daddy to the mate that she mistreats after they keep saying how in love she is with him to the jerk turned lover but not as much as I love the werewolf. Just no I won’t be finishing and I am highly disappointed.

This boxset is jammed pack full of action, even though it starts out slow. It gives us a little bit of a background and a chance to know our characters, which is refreshing. This is a reverse harem story that will definitely keep your attention once you get through the beginning portions. There were many moments I did laugh, wanted to cry and was sad. But, in the end, they worked together and love will conquer everything in their path…they say it is about the journey! These characters definitely did not have an easy time of things either. Seriously, either edition readers choose to grab, you will not want to miss out on this fantastic series! I received this boxset via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.

The Born Vampire Series by Elizabeth Dunlap is a 5 ++ star six book paranormal adventure series that features a vampire heroine and her forever mates. The incredible and enthralling six books in this series are: Knight of the Hunted, Child of the Outcast, War of the Chosen, Bite of the Fallen, Rise of the Fallen, and Time of the Ancients. Each book in the series is wonderful and builds toward a surprising ending that left me breathless. This is an amazing collection of books that any paranormal romance reader will love. A not to be missed series. The Born Vampire Series is a collection of epic paranormal adventure tales.

A cross between Lizzie McGuire and My Babysitter's A Vampire. I thoroughly enjoyed all of these books. You'll laugh and cry, and putting this story down will be a chore. These stories are incredibly addictive and epic. There are so many twists, you'll be glued to the edge of your seat. An amazing reverse harem with a bit of everything.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. This series has been awesome, every book got better that it made it harder to put the book down to clean house. The heat between them was intense they were very close, twist and turns, hot and steamy with emotions that makes you want more.

All I can say is wow! That was one heck of a story that I wish I could read all over again like it was the first time. Lisbeth, Knight, Arthur and Balthazar have gone through so much, more than anyone ever should. Even though they had so many different adventures it was all unique and kept me hooked thought out the whole thing. And that spice?! Ugh! So good!

This was one sexiest toe curling nail-biting panty Melton series I thoroughly enjoyed it I enjoyed every single character this book I enjoyed the plots who is mysterious and intriguing definitely a keeper couldn't ask for more all these fantastic books in one place definitely a keeper

This is a really great series. The series is very well written with well developed characters. I was drawn in from the beginning and kept interested throughout. Very hard to put down. I highly recommend reading.

This whole series lets you enjoy the whole story in one sitting 😃. So much emotional trauma, lots of action, intense situations with wonderfully awesome characters, you just can't put it down 😊. They described this book as a slow-burn reverse harem and it's appropriate of that warning. With that being said, I totally enjoyed the series and would recommend it to others. I read the NSFW version and it was really enjoyable. It was well developed and the characters were fabulously well written. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Elizabeth Dunlap is now a 1-click author for me!

I loved this series. I loved the world building that was done by the author that we see in other books and series she’s written. It’s interesting to see where it all started. Lisbeth has great character growth, and I love the relationships with her lovers—not to mention the familial relationships throughout the series. Great characters and a great storyline. What more can anyone ask for?

This is soo worth reading!! A complete series in one bundle yes please!! No need for week-end movies marathon The Born Vampire series got me covered. This was such an amazing series. The stories are so well written it kept me glued to my Kindle.

Great collection of books in the series. First experience with this author but looking forward to discovering more from her. Slow burn series worth it's weight in gold. Definitely recommend to others.

Great story!!
I could not put this down completely enthralling!! I love lisbeth and her three mates their chemistry was off the charts. This was slow build but so worth it I definitely recommend!!

So many feelings.. Oh i love it.. So many twists and turns and backstories.. So messy i love it!
Such a great read! So many stories all twisted together and such an emotional rollercoaster. And so vivid i can literally see this entire book playing as a movie.

This series is absolutely amazing! I loved each book that made up Lisbeth’s story. She had an amazing life that sometimes was very emotional, especially towards to end. I loved the timelines and plot twists, this series definitely kept me on my toes!
