Farah Adlin is never getting married. Not now, not “someday,” and certainly not when she’s black out drunk at her sister’s wedding in Las Vegas. So when she wakes up in an unfamiliar hotel room with a ring on her finger, the only logical explanation is that she won it from a vending machine, right? She doesn’t have much time to dwell on it anyway, as Damien Vance, her boss and heir to the Vance fortune, assigns her to be the glorified baby sitter for his older brother for the week. Eric Vance is as obnoxious as he is handsome, immediately pushing all of Farah’s buttons and all of her boundaries. With one brother trying her patience, and the other acting unusually friendly, Farah’s starting to wonder if she’s going to survive her work life long enough to find who put that ring on her finger. What Happens in Vegas is a lighthearted Romantic Comedy of billionaires, big mistakes, and finding your voice. If you enjoyed the heart of The Hating Game by Sally Thorne and the billionaires of Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James, you'll love What Happens in Vegas.
Leann Belle was born and raised in Los Angeles as an eternal dreamer, a hardcore gamer, and obsessive anime, manga, and JRPG nerd. Having fallen in love with countless villains, she immediately fell in love with the dark side of romance, and her lifelong love affair with Japanese horror and fantasy has heavily influenced her writing style as she crafts vicious and magical worlds.
When she’s not typing away behind her laptop, she’s living out of a tent off the back of her motorcycle on her quest to ride around the world. The wilderness is the best place to catch up on reading, after all!
Could have been a little better if it wasn't so chopped up. The story has merit, although It was too easy to walk away from and read in the next day or two.
This is book 1 in Belle's Can't Buy Me Love series. A love triangle romance read that has me a bit all over the place. Our main characters are: Farah, Damien and Eric. This is told in multi point of view and is a great telling of the deceptions and truths we convince ourselves and others. I love Farah's bff and sister, actually I really liked her character most of the time. Determined and stubborn but clumsy and direct too. She's a hot mess, but then I think I am too so I relate. Damien and Eric while half brothers are so different. I think it's great that this story is told from multiple points of view but I got confused at times as to the time frame of who was talking and if it was two perspectives of the same event or a different time all together. Narration was well done, smooth flowing - I think there was an error in production but not a big deal. I do think this would have been even better as a dual narration with a male - especially as two of our main characters were male - but still a very good job. Overall I liked the story - especially the ending. If your looking for steamy scenes this book does not go into a lot of scenes or details but the chemistry is there and comes thru. Smooth flowing storyline and some great gasp moments to keep you enthralled. Definitely looking forward to more!

This book was super cute. I read it on my kindle, so I'm not sure if the spacing issues were just a Kindle issue, or not? But I also couldn't get on board with finding out you're pregnant from a stick after a few days. But other than that, very cute book.
I actually really loved this book! It wasn't what I expected and it actually left me curious more than once! I wish it went for longer to be honest. I smashed this book out in a day and I would 100% do it again! Will definitely be a re-read kinda book!
The Vance family really is messed up. Mainly the asshole of a father. The brothers are working through past hurts in a way brothers do. It doesn’t help that they both fall for Farah, but only one can have her. One steps back, but there is HEA.
Cute, fun, fast read. I'm discovering I really like Leann Belle's heroines. They're just funny, awkward, relatable, and feel real, but also have a backbone that slowly creeps out as each story progresses. Bit different from conventional "badass" women, but feel more legitimately badass to me
I found the story and characters confusing. None of them seem to know if what they are feeling or what to do. It was hard work. That said, I did finish it, which surprises me.
I was intrigued by the start of this book. Likes: Tension, 2 brothers, did-she or didn’t-she, and will she ever figure out who was in the bed. Eric starts out a bit sleazy, yet ends with morals. Damien is supposed to be the more responsible and in charge, yet he’s a wimp who can’t stand up for himself or his life or even for love.
Minus 2-3 stars for tons of missing opportunities and parts including teasers about confronting the father who is also a bit of a hypocrite sleazy narcissist.
The book needs developmental editing to address pacing and organizational problems.
I wanted to give this a 4 or 5, but the issues made it too difficult to read easily without re-reads and pauses to clarify exactly who is speaking when.
