Coloured illustrations help the reader to relate to the story. I have read the Hindi language translation of this book.
For a leveled reader, I surprisingly really enjoyed the story. A goose and a frog are worried about an escaped snake. After they find out the snake won’t eat them, they help the snake sail back to India.
This is an I Can Read book; text is repeatative and kind of easy so a mid level beginning reader could learn to read on their own.
This was an interesting book with a duck and a frog being friends. They had heard that a snake had gotten loose from the zoo and became scared. They didnt' know what snakes ate, so they found a newspaper to read the story. They did find out they were okay but in the process frog gets into trouble that duck couldn't help him. But while duck tries to find help she comes across the snake and the snake tells them they don't have to be scared. The snake helps frog and then in return they help snake board a ship to return back to Asia.
This was a charming book, it was different than most children's book. So if you are interested in something 'different' this book is nice.
What do you do if you just found out a snake escaped from the local zoo and you are a duck with your best friend who is a frog. Well, you find out what snakes eat of course and then determine a plan from there. These two terrified friends get themselves in a pickle and receive aid from the least expected place.
A great book to teach children not to judge other people until they get to know them. They were scared of the snake but in the end the snake was their friend and even helped Maxie get free from the trash can.
A goose and frog are afraid of an snake that escaped from the zoo. They are surprised that the snake ends up helping them, and they help the snake too. It is nice to have friends around to help.
Anthony loved reading it so much he got props and made a play out of it which he performed one night for our family story time. It really sparked his imagination.
