Historians weren’t being modest when they described the settling of the western frontier as wild. That means with Eve’s record of landing in the most inhospitable locales, of course she drops right in the middle of an unforgiving land, rife with conflict and fueled by desperation. Though a treaty was signed between the Native Americans and the settlers who continued to pour into the west in droves, a tension lays over the land, as thick as the blood being spilt over it.

But there are more than just gun fights and saloons scattered across the barren plains; there is an ancient source of magic known to its inhabitants that predicts a very disturbing image of Eve’s future. Battling her thirst to return home against her desire to stay with the man she loves, she must fight to ensure that what was predicted never comes true, and safeguard against becoming the thing she hates the most…

RONE Award-winning author Casey Bond lives on a rural farm in West Virginia with her husband and their two beautiful daughters. She writes phoenixes – gloriously flawed and morally gray characters that fiercely rise from the ashes of their circumstances.

Worldbuilding is one of her favorite pastimes. She thinks thunderstorms are better than coffee and that watching a meteor shower is the closest thing to magic you might ever see. She’s a firm believer that every amazing book needs a world you want to wrap yourself in, a character you want to win, and a love you would fight for.

Casey is the author of When Wishes Bleed, Gravebriar, House of Eclipses, and Where Oceans Burn.

I’m still recuperating from my almost heart attack that the cliffhanger of the former book gave me hahaha I’m just astonished about how perfect this series is ... and damn it Enoch ...the guy is strong I won’t lie , every time Eve has to go and they have so little time together, for her is easy because not much time pass but for him ? Centuries pass without her .

Native Americans ? So cool I don’t know much about their culture but this look so interesting . Ok I have a crazy ? Ok a really crazy feeling that maybe Eve is the Antichrist? Hahaha that could be really, REALLY cool . Ok probably she isn’t but damn if this idea isn’t f*cking COOL . Poor Titus , he is absolutely the best friend a girl could ever dream about , and I LOVE this series but I already said this like a thousand times uh ? Hahaha

These books are like a mix between Assassins Creed books with more romance and Red Dead Redemption in this one particularly and all the Old West vibe ...I’m in love .

“I’ll show you what kind of weapon they’ve molded her to be. She’s a force of nature when unleashed. The girl is a hurricane, ten times stronger than the strongest you can imagine. I don’t even know if she knows what she’s capable of. She sort of blacks out sometimes.”
It was weird, to be honest. Maru said when she fought she was in a zone, but it was more than that. It was simultaneously feral and mechanical. She was ruthless precision in a world of chaos”

Damn ...Eve is so badass . I like Yarrow she is a ...like she said a wizard tech and I don’t blame Enoch for his actions he is ...well he is pretty awesome but also a powerful man and he is in love so ...this is a dangerous mix , everyone thinks Enoch is the Big Bad Wolf but guys ... Eve is so much worse ...but I’m still scared of the Enoch of the modern times ...damn it I really hope he isn’t terminally broken , and yeah I understand why should he help the humans ?

You know Enoch some times is so ruthless and fierce but when he is with Eve he is cute and gentle and shy hahaha this is so good that we don’t have the normal always brooding male . Sweet baby Lucifer now the cliffhanger really did kill me ....I don’t know what to say ...the angst ? Aaaaaaah WHERE IS THE NEXT ONE ?

High Noon is the fourth book in the High Stakes Saga and cannot be read as a stand alone. It begins where book three left off.

When the assets land this time, they find themselves in the Old West. It’s wild and dangerous and conflict abounds. But and even greater danger seems to be surrounding Eve than usual. She finds herself the controversial visitor in a Lakota tribe . . . who have had visions of her and now want to see if she has visions herself.

Battling to stay alive from the Nephilim as well as Abram, Eve also finds herself dealing with disturbing visions of her possible future, preparing to face unknown threats when she is pulled back to her own time and an unknown illness that may kill her faster than the known threats out to get her. She can only hope and have faith that when she makes a choice, she makes the right one for everyone.

Ohhh, High Noon . . . hot damn. While I’ve come to expect the unexpected from this series, High Noon really took that to the next level. Honestly, this book had so many plot twists and OMG moments that it was a non-stop thrill ride that is steamrolling straight to the conclusion, High Treason!

I really loved the addition of the Native American aspects to this saga. It added a phenomenal level of depth. As always, I loved watching the play between Eve and Enoch and really hope that when they make it back to Eve’s time, there is a way for them to have a HEA . . . although after some of the reveals in High Noon, I’m wondering if that can possibly happen.

The High Stakes Saga is stunningly unique in a world of formulaic PNR and I love every suspenseful moment of this series and cannot wait to see how the journey ends in High Treason. 5 stars.

This is book four in the High Stakes series. We start right where we left off...Eve plummeting to the ground in another new time. What year will she end up in this time? How long before she finds Enoch?

Eve finds out some truly interesting things in this one which she needs to figure out how to handle. Plus someone she wasn’t expecting shows up to her utter surprise! Terah is still pissed about how things were left in 1777 and is out for revenge, will she get it?

Enoch and Eve together make me swoon. I love how much they care for each other, especially no matter how mad he was when she left the previous time.

“I need you always,” he whispered. “I’ll need you for an eternity.”
“You’ll have to settle for the years I have left,” I answered with a smile. Enoch didn’t return the grin.

Enoch of the present is trying to bring Eve home safely and not having her land in Victor and Kael’s hands.

This one is full of action, knowledge, and some OMG moments! I’m on the edge of my seat anxiously waiting High Treason the finale to the series!! It’s gonna be a good one I already know!!

Wow, what another amazing and wild ride!!

The characters were AWESOME!! The love between Enoch and Eve is even more stronger than ever before. I could feel their love for one another flow off of each page.

The story-line was phenomenal. I can't say a whole lot without giving something away, but OMG, was this story full of suspense and left me with my mouth left open. And of course, this ending made me want to scream at the author for the way she left it. I have been once again left hanging at the end of this book impatiently wondering what will happen next. Seriously, Bond, why do you continue to do this to me? To find out what I am talking about, purchase your copy today!! Go on, I highly recommend it!!

Casey Bond stretches her story line to a whole new level in High Noon, her fourth installment of the High Stakes saga. You must absolutely read each of these in order to follow along on the wild adventure through time.

Bond has taken up many places in this series. From medieval times, plundering vast oceans, to vampire militia Bond has done it all. Or so I thought, until she takes us to the wild west. Bringing rich Native American folklore into her tale, Bond has created a few more characters that you can't resist in High Noon. Enoch, Asa, Titus and even Maru are front and center in this novel in their quest to get home and to help Eve. This novel is a pivotal point in Eve's story. Will she complete her task assigned by Victor and Kael or will she adapt into the unknown?
Bond leaves you hanging... BIG TIME in High Noon. But don't let that deter you from the story she has created. Knowing Bond, she won't make readers wait long to find out what happens to Eve, Titus and all the wonderful characters of High Stakes saga.

High Noon was so so good! I finished it way too fast and now I'm suffering a book hangover!! Ok, in this one Eve and Titus have jumped to another time while trying to get back to their OWN time. They're in the Wild West! Unfortunately, so is Abram. Ugh. And what's more, they have a surprise guest show up! So much happens and we get some questions answered, and yet even more questions arise. What is going on with Eve and why is it only affecting HER that way? We now know that her memories are manufactured, so I'm HIGHLY curious as to her real story. I mean, I have theories, but I won't spoil it for you. You're going to want to check this book out to find out what happens with our favorite Nephilim/vampire trio and their would-be hunters! I am already bouncing in my seat waiting for the next book in this series. Definitely 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up!!

**This is the 4th book of a 5 part series and should be read in order and not as a stand-alone if possible**

As with the other installments, High Noon picks up right when High Society ends, throwing Eve and her fellow assets forward in time but not into their present. Eve finds herself landing in Enoch’s arms as he travels with a pair of brothers, one of whom has had disturbing visions of her.

While dealing with some uncomfortable truths about herself, Eve must also try to help her friends, Enoch, and the very future for all humanity. But first, they have to try to make it home, one more time.

Casey is gonna kill me with these cliff hangers!

High Noon is book 4 in the series, must be read in order or else!
I’m not really sure who is the good guys and who is the bad anymore, throughout High Noon I loved and hated most of them. We are on a journey through time with Eve, Enoch and the rest of the gang. This time landing us in the Wild West. Lines between reality and dreams blurred, I’m not sure what to believe and who to trust anymore. We get different characters and time POVs which I love so we can see everything that is happening. The ending came too soon but I was expecting it and anticipate the next.

Eve & Enoch

I ended up finishing this series In less than a week. I lost sleep, staying up til 3am. Enoch and Eve are destined to be. When the series starts she’s living in a compound training to be a top asset with a burning hate for Enoch and his siblings. She’s been taught to believe they are the worst thing for humanity. She travels through different times only to find the man she’s been taught to hate is nothing like the man she’s been brain washed to hate. Read this series and take the journey through time and watch as Eve and Enochs story unwinds.

this was so good! Enoch caught Eve in his arms, she was so glad she didn’t smack into the ground!
Visions, surprise friend, more visions, poor Eve not sure what to do now! with help of Tanuk she decides what she needs to do, she sick and knows it isn’t good. So she makes a decision that should save Kohana and his people. And OMG what a cliffhanger, no can’t end this way, Nooooooooo!
so now to wait for the last one to come out next❤️❤️❤️

Still reeling (in a good way)

Over this one. Twists and turns. Action packed scenes. Romance. This one has it all. It started out amazing and just kept getting better. Enoch and Eve are my book super couple. I want nothing more than to see them happy, together and free. Casey’s detailed descriptions and well thought out plots take me right along with the characters. She has once again taken me on the emotion roller coaster and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

First, let me say this is not a series where you can't jump in without reading the books in order. It was well written, but the pace felt a little off, and some of the descriptions were a little too in-depth. I liked the story overall, and I think it makes a great addition to the series. Perfect for dystopian lovers.

I just as always Casey love this series and these characters. I cannot wait for book number 5 high treason! I read high stakes when it first came out and just became super busy so only just got round to reading the rest but I read one after the other really quickly which is unusual for me as I'm a slow reader! love love love.

Wow, Casey, you've done it again. Action and adventure abound. This series is so much fun and enjoyable. I can't decide if Enoch and Asa are good or bad. Then, the ending threw me for a loop. Bring on Book 5.

I was a bit troubled with the events that are happening. The blackouts are confusing as hell. I don't know if it is a good thing that I was a little bothered and confused but then it kept me going and wanted to read the next one immediately. It's time to know the conclusion for this madness lol

Wow!

Casey Bond is the queen of cliffhangers!! The series is honestly getting better with each book. The characters are complex, and morally grey as well. I am ready for the fifth book! I definitely recommend this book and author. Thank you!
