A study of the Minor Prophets is a study of God in motion. The men sent to preach to Israel, Judah, and even Kingdoms around them, did so with a two-fold message. On the one hand they told of God's movement against sin, in the form of terrible punishment. On the other hand they told of God's plan to destroy sin, in the form of the Messiah-to-come. It was up to the prophets to press the sinners in their audience to heed the warnings of the first message so that they could enjoy the blessings of the second.
