So much has changed over the seven full seasons of Fortnite we've had so far, covering themes such as time travel, superheroes, the frozen winter, and most recently for Fortnite Season 8 we now have a pirate motif - featuring a full galleon moored in Lazy Lagoon, cannons, and many more swashbuckling items. Thanks to the constantly evolution of the island, the current Fortnite map is a far cry from the days of Anarchy Acres and Moisty Mire, and with more recent additions such as the Playground and Creative modes the gameplay has also continued to develop.
As it's now been up and running for well over a year, it may feel daunting for newer players to jump in at this stage and take on the veterans, but that doesn't have to be the case. With the right approach, the game is still completely accessible to fresher players, so if you learn how to play Fortnite and take on board our Fortnite tips then you're giving yourself the best opportunity to survive and, most importantly, have fun.
