Quick read packed with good characters, emotion and sexy scenes. Dr Parker(Parks) is temporarily assigned to a hospital in Boston by his mentor. His reputation precedes him. He is nicknamed Dr. Feelgood, commitment phobic and ladies man. He is so much more. A man with hidden hurts and a heart of gold. Ansley is the top neurosurgeon in the area. She is coming off a contentious divorce that left her hurt and angry. When these two meet flames erupt. These two lovers must work through their issues to find an HEA. Reputations, exes, past hurts all play a role in their love story.

A dedicated bachelor and best friend to Dr Aiden Crawford from "Between The Sheets". He is sent to Boston Gen to teach Aiden's sister some new surgical techniques for one month. How much trouble can he get into in just one month with one rule from Aiden...don't mess with my sister. Ashley it's the best in her field but it's on a rough situation. She divorced her manipulating, lying husband of nine years and he is also the Chief of Staff and her boss. The friction between them is affecting everyone in the hospital ski why not add gasoline to the fire by sending sexy Dr. Feel good into the mix? The chemistry between Parks and Ansley will curl your toes but damn Ansley is hurting and her go to emotion is mean. Parks has a solution to give her the one thing she wants, a baby, while he gets what he wants, her. What happens when mind blowing hook ups become more?? Pain to Heal

Parks and Ans - two people who want to control their lives without the burden of a relationship. After all, look at what it done to these 2 emotionally damaged personalities. Weston characters make his stories "live". I read this one in one sitting. Incredible story of more than just second chances. A lovely read. Thanks, Weston!

Hospital Drama with all the Doctors, actually more than one hospital. It's kind of a soap opera theme when I start thinking about it. The storyline has all the makings of a good soap opera. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, as it kept my attention all the time.

Brilliant

Another brilliant story Weston.
Who could not fall in love with Jacob "Parks" Parker.
Such an adorable couple he and Ansley make.
Loved the journey they went on to get their HEA and what a journey.

The first chapter was so shocking that I had to keep reading to find out more about the uncouth, womanising, bachelor. It seemed impossible that this character could ever have a HEA.

Parks, real name Jacob Parker but don't you DARE call him that, is a playboy extraordinary. There is only him and his Dad who is very ill due to alcoholism [but that's a story you will find out in the book]. Due to family history he has no intention of ever giving even part of his heart to a female. He's the once and done - love'em and leave them type that females should really avoid but rarely do. He's devoted himself to become the best neurologist that he can possibly be. His boss, mentor and best friend, Aiden, sends him to Boston General where his newly divorced sister, Ansley, is the top neuro surgeon there to demonstrate new surgical routines and so she is most definitely off limits to Parks. Ansley's ex husband is still in love with her and wants her back but he did a terrible thing and lied to her for years which she just can't forgive [and justly so]. Ans is a few years older than Parks and considers him to be an arrogant young man that she wants rid of as soon as possible. When he offers to help her where Nolan didn't what will she answer? This is a 5 STAR book by the fabulous author, Weston Parker, whose storylines just keep Surpassing themselves. I really loved Parks as when you delved under the surface he was a really sweet man with compassion but was hurting. Ans came into his life just when they needed each other. This is so beautifully written with characters that just leap off the page as they are so believable. I really think Nolan is my least favourite character as he did the unforgivable. I'm hoping that we get to read Ans'and Aidens' other sister's story! A perfect ending to this story. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended

An Engaging and Emotional Read.
Under the Covers by Weston Parker has a couple of great themes running thru it...hospital/doctor and older woman/younger man. My heart went out to Dr. Ansley Crawford, Neurosurgeon at Boston General and freshly divorced because her ex lied to her for nine years about wanting kids. He went so far as to go behind her back to have a vasectomy and snuck her birth control pills. Now at thirty-five and divorced she is angry because she continues to work in the same hospital as her ex.
To complicate matters in struts Dr. Parks, aka Dr Feelgood who is proud of screwing as many women as possible. He is friends with Ansley’s brother who is also a top Neurosurgeon and has sent him to Boston General to work with his sister for a couple of months but, must keep his hands off her.
Well naturally they are attracted to each other. Will they act on it? Will she decide to listen to her biological clock and find a sperm donor? Will it be Parks? Well, yes, but a sperm donor doesn’t necessarily mean a father/husband.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure because the author did such a good job engaging me and keeping me reading page after page, becoming emotionally invested with Ansley, feeling her anger and with Parks and his dad. Well done.

The emotional side of the Dr. Feels good

After seeing the naughtiest playboy side of Jacob Parker aka Dr. Parks (well known as Dr. Feels good) in Between the Sheets, as prodigy of Dr. Aiden. Under the Covers dwells deep into his emotional part of the life where he has hurts and wounds and the reality under his playboy facade. After the older man younger woman romance in Between the Sheets, we get to read Older woman younger man romance in Under the Covers. The second Dr. Crawford, i.e., Dr. Ansley Crawford, younger sister of Dr. Aiden Crawford is introduced as the second best neurologist in the world at Boston who is out of the 9 year old marriage life after finding her husband is not ready to have kids yet and killing the chances of it. She is not that much older than Dr. Parks but just 4 years.
Dr. Parks has been asked by Dr. Aiden to work in Boston for a month and provide his medical expertise where his sister being the head of the neurology with a warning not to...well feel good around his sister. Dr. Parks agrees as he never was interested in older woman but his thinking and life changes when he first time meets Ansley and wants her more when he finds out her craving for a child.
Is she is the woman who would make him settle for one leaving his playboy life? Is he is the man for whom Ansley always waited but entered little late into her life?

Under the Covers is a touching story about doctors of all types with loads of personality. It's tightly written with a number of separate storylines woven together seamlessly. Jacob Parks, Dr. Feelgood, is a hot shot neurosurgeon who is brilliant in the operating room as well as the bedroom. Just ask him! His character is as humorous as it is sexy. It's obvious that he's not one bit shallow as the story proceeds. Jacob is on loan from New York to Boston in order to instruct and work with other neurosurgeons to update their skills. Parks has a mentor (Aiden) in New York who warns him not to get involved with the chief of neurosurgery. Her name is Ainsley and not only is she his sister, he's very protective of her. She's been going through some trying times and Aiden's concerned that Parks just might make them worse. As they say, what you can't have, you crave! Theirs is a tug of war relationship. It's part love and part don't fall in love, don't commit. Ainsley is still dealing with her ex-husband who will do just about anything to get her back. He, however, has committed the ultimate betrayal by lying to her regarding family. Parks and Ainsley continue to get closer but then decides she wants to be alone. The story picks up from here and honesty, not hiding, helps it to its almost perfect conclusion. The epilogue solidifies the good feel of the story!

Sparks fly between them but her ex is always trying to pit them against one another. Parks wants to help Ansley have the one thing she has wanted but was deprived of by her ex a baby. So at first it starts as some hot wild hook ups but quickly feelings become involved. However after everything she's been through Ansley isn't sure of what Parks feels for her. So she doesn't say anything and he goes back home after his time there is done. Will Ansley tell Parks that she has feelings for him before he leaves?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.
