Wrong Place, Right Time

Rate this book
When Todd Bartlett spots Amelia Baldwin at the bar in Cayden Spring's fanciest hotel, he immediately realizes he's in the wrong place at the wrong time.

When they both end up in the hospital later that night Amelia is livid with Todd. Again.

If she wants to shock her over-protective, religious parents she needs to date the biggest bad boy in town. Good thing Todd owes her a massive favor.

A few dates and a few dinners at the Baldwin's house and his debt will be paid off...if he can tolerate Amelia and her parents that long. One thing is for certain, Todd will pay his debt.

What neither of them expect is that they have been in the right place at exactly the right time all along.

*Suitable for 18+ due to explicit language and sexual situations*

Sweet yet steamy

I really enjoyed this one! I have read other titles by this author that I have enjoyed but they are in the YA genre...this is def not YA! Haha It still has a cute story line but definitely is steamy and sexy at the same time! I found myself very invested in the characters and had to know how it ended! Loved it and hope This author writes another romance. She has a knack for it!

I could not put this book down! Amelia is sassy and cute, but definitely has a mind of her own which makes her really pleasing to follow, and Todd is more than just the usual "bad boy". Loved the ending, and will for sure read more by this author.

So good! Loved the writing. Amelia and Todd are so cute together. Her family annoyed the crap out of me though.

I read this book in about 2 days! Definitely did not want to put this down. I realized I have read another book by Mallory which made me more excited to read this. This one did not disappoint.
I did notice though that this story is not like the other one. Steamy and sexy but sweet is how I would describe this one. Her other one I read would be considered more YA but I felt that this was more adult and definitely not YA.
I really enjoyed it though and loved the characters. I loved Amelia and Todd and thought they had great chemistry whether they were fighting or things were getting steamy. I didn't really like her parents or her brother at all especially since her parents seemed a little critical of Todd for no reason and treated her brother much better than Amelia. Throughout this book though I felt that the characters were a bit older than 20 and 22(?). Probably from personal experience but I kept thinking they were a bit older. Amelia was a college student but it was summer time so you don't hear anything about school besides in the beginning and at the end.
I loved that Amelia could stand up for herself and even put herself in awkward situations to try to get her parents to like Todd. I'm glad they seemed to warm up to him closer to the end and that Amelia could be there for Todd when he needed her. I loved the ending, especially the epilogue.
I would definitely check out the other books written by Mallory and hopefully there's another romance in the future!
