This is the second book in the Ridge Brother series and I am loving it.

Everett has been waiting to find his mate all his life knowing that no woman would be right for him but her. When he finally finds her she is everything he expected and more and he will spend the rest of his life protecting her and cannot wait to get started. Now he has his mate Chloe in his sights he knows his world is complete now all he has to do is convince her to stay.

Chloe is in town for one night with her cousin Mandy who does nothing but make her feel insecure about herself, that is until she sees Everett and is drawn to him in a way she never thought existed. She finds her confidence through him and he makes her feel loved. Could this really be love after such a short time and will he really want her to stay?

These books are so much fun and oh so hot, cannot wait to read Cash’s book and see what happens with the Copeland Lion Shifters. Sweet, safe and steamy read.

Our boy Everett loves every inch of his girl and made sure she was protected and sexually pleased. Heck he even agreed to save her bitchy ass cousin who was the one who made Chloe's life hell for years.. plus some steamy lake sex ;) oh la laaa

We also get a hint of Cash story and heck his story just got more interesting since his mate is apart of the lion crew that have fucked everyone up since book 1.. idk if she's a shifter or human?? Poor Cash.. he's in for a fight.

I loved Chloe and Everett together!😍😍This alpha bear shifter was so OTT J/P and all MINE from the beginning. Chloe was a shy sweetheart. She was curvy and a bit self conscious (but not for long😊😊) I love when the heroine trusts the hero from the beginning and there are no stupid misunderstandings/stubborn back and forth stuff. The sex scenes were hot!!!!

Great second story in this family series. This one is way hot! Our lovable OTT guy who finds his true mate. A little drama with some lion shifters, and cousin Mandy. Nothing awful and added good suspense to the story of Everett and Chloe’s journey to their HEA.

Really enjoyed book #2 in this series. Everett was ecstatic to finally find his mate. He made Chloe feel loved and cherished and confident in her own skin. He gave her back her confidence to love her curves after being put down by her cousin her entire life. This book was steamy and perfectly sexy! Can’t wait for Cash’s story. Looks like things are going to finally come to a head with the Copeland Lions.

Wow this hot sticky steamy paranormal Romance is the second book in the Ridge Brothers stories.
Everett is a grizzly bear shifter who has stayed true just waiting for his mate. Chloe is in town because her cousin's car broke down and they're needing to get the transmission fixed. Mandy her cousin is always putting her down and everybody around her as well she is a sour vindictive person and it shows through with her every word and action. When Mandy makes a scene in the local diner Chloe makes a swift escape only to come face-to-face with a very naked Everett. When Mandy comes out of the diner she tries her flirty attitude with Everett but he only has eyes for Chloe and goes all alpha cave bear on her. Everett's brother Damon who is now a police officer after he claimed his mate Kinsley in the first Ridge Brothers book, comes up in his cruiser to tell Everett to put clothes on and Mandy just has to put her two cents in one more time. Chloe being human doesn't seem to make a difference for Everett he knows she's his mate things steam up pretty quickly we have skinny dipping in the lake where they have their first se**al experience together. Later that evening after Everett wrestled with his bare about marking Chloe he just didn't want her to be in pain yet but his bear was arguing with him to Mark her claim her bite her mate her. They're in the bar with Everett's brother Cash and a dangerous shifter crew walks in, their fun night is put to an end where all he** breaks loose when one of them touches Chloe, Mandy is with the leader Killian and Chloe tried to warn her that they were going to pass her around the crew that she would not be just with Killian but she ignored her and when the fight broke out she tried to get Chloe to leave town with her but Chloe stood tall and stayed. After calling 9-1-1 to even the odds of the fight because the lion shifters outnumbered the to grizzly bear shifters once help arrived the brawl ended and the whole time Chloe was feeling turned on loved and protected by her mate. There are two epilogues in this book 1 year span and then a 12 year span Mandy makes an appearance again at the family reunion where she has recently been recovering from a DUI accident and has vowed to make amends with those she's hurt and turn her life around. The end of the story is Cash's realization of who his mate is and how everything will go terribly wrong it's going go when he claims her.

Another sexy shifter's story

This is an indulgence for me, a totally guilty pleasure.
I read the first one (Bare for the alpha) and I really enjoyed and relaxed. By the end, I wanted to see them again and watch Everett find his mate whilst I forget about life and read some sexy scenes.

It was a insta lust and insta love kind of story, but being a short book about shifter and finding a mate, that was expected.

It was sexy and sweet and had hot some really hot scenes.

I rally enjoyed myself reading it, and now I want the youngest brother's story as well.
Let's see how he'll deal about his own mate (considering what we read at the end of this second book).

The story was typical for a shifter romance which is fine ... I mean we don’t read these stories for the literary genius. But the writing here was really poor and perhaps one of the worst stories I’ve read. The characters were unbelievable! The women portrayed as desperate and naive without any common sense. Repetitive to the point of boredom. Also there are consistency issues, which seems to be a new thing for this author. First it was a t-shirt that Damon threw at his brother but then it changes to a towel not even a few paragraphs later. And somehow she's managed to take any of the minimal love out of this insta love book. Everett treats Chloe like a fuck hole, that's it. He tells her she's his mate, takes her hand and makes her give him a hand job which turns into him fucking her mouth and taking what he wants. They met not even 20 fucken minutes ago. Seriously, it's creepy and they are in the back of his brother's cop car. Oh but she's his mate and he loves her. Sure, let's keep confusing love with lust because it's all it is. No real story, just seeing how fast the MMC can bed the FMC. And speaking of the FMC, why is Olivia degrading these females. Coming from a kiss? Really? Stop making these women weak like this. Gods above is the next woman just gonna get off from seeing his face?

And the first time they have sex it's in the lake? Umm... yeah, no. That's the worst place to have sex for the first time, period. Especially when you consider how big he is and she's a virgin (I mean it's certainly mentioned a fucken lot). In a way it's funny because here he was not moments before saying how she deserves better for her first time when he was looking at the grass and dirt, etc but I guess better just meant the lake because who needs to be comfortable at all.

Nothing much happens in this book other than the 5 seconds of drama with the lion shifters and then we are back on track to Sexville. I really wish there was more story other than them fucking.

I really don't know what's happening to this author but the books seem to be getting worse. It's either that or the ones I read last year were newer or something because they didn't suck this bad.

The second book in a series about 3 shifter brothers, this is the story of Everett and Chloe. Everett’s bear has been going crazy since catching the scent of his mate and it was interesting to watch the push/pull dynamic between man and animal, The struggle was real (as the kids say - do they still say this?). Seeing him trying to be gentle and slow with Chloe while his bear is literally chanting for him to mark and mate her was fun and allowed the hero to be OTT while still being sweet. Chloe started out unsure and self-conscious, issues not helped by her cousin, Mandy, but steadily gained a spine as the story went on.

Everett’s and Chloe’s relationship develops at lightning speed (of course) with minimal angst. What lingering issues are addressed in the multiple epilogues looking into the near AND distant future. I love seeing couples way down the line, so I really appreciated that aspect.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. My only criticism is that I would like for there to be more supportive female relationships depicted. Mandy could’ve been nice from the start and the scene in the bar near the end still would have been an effective catalyst to show Everett’s possessiveness.

Spread for the alpha is book two in the Ridge brothers bear shifters series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. After smelling his mate in town, Everett is desperate to find her and claim her. Travelling back from a family reunion, Chloe and her cousin end up breaking down in a small town. Whilst waiting for the car to be fixed, Chloe meets a handsome naked man in the street. Feeling a connection to the man, she isn’t put off by his nakedness.
The chemistry between Everett and Chloe was clear to see and I loved them as a couple. They’re perfect for one another.
I really disliked Mandy, she was so annoying. I hated the way she treated Chloe and the people around her. That being said, she did seem to change her ways later on in the story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
