What is art? How does art tell stories? Where do artists get their ideas from? Open this fascinating book to discover explosive ideas, wild colours, unexpected views and amazing works of art by world-famous artists. Includes Usborne Quicklinks to specially selected websites where you can take a virtual tour of a gallery, look at famous paintings up close and much more. Published in association with The National Gallery, London.
An interesting broad look at a cross section of Art history, Artists and Art styles. It is a Usborne book aimed at young audiences so it lacks depth but it provides enough scope to inform and give potential art lovers multiple directions to explore.
Pretty basic, but I could extract some lessons from there. The part with the art gallery was the most interesting because I never actually thought about how hard it is to work in an art gallery.
