Im happy that Jonathan got away from Dracula. But it was a very very narrow escape. My favourite part is when they defeat Dracula by opening the box of soil where he was sleeping and letting the sun shine on him. 🤩
Well, that was a fun little read! As a big Whitby fan, I've always had an attraction to Dracula, but not read the book. I'll be honest, I'm not a big classics sort of book gal. As beautiful as the story is, they're usually over descriptive for me, and I struggle to enjoy the story. 🦇 And that's when Usbourne enters the group chat! On my last visit to Whitby, I vowed I would buy a copy of Dracula in Whitby, as where else would be better?! And amazingly, I found this version of the book in what is one of my favourite book shops ever, Great Read of Whitby. 🦇 Of course I know the basics of Dracula, but actually reading it, with a storm raging outside, was such a treat. I felt lost in the time period, but not so much that I got distracted. 🦇 I'd definitely recommend this to any vampire/Dracula fans for a quick read. 🦇
