Five star review!

I adore this book! It was amazing. I have loved Stacy’s writing since the beginning but this book just made everything seem “weak”
It was absolutely magnificent, the writing, the plot, EVERYTHING!

3.5 stars. This book wasn’t as enjoyable as the first or second (first is probably my favourite). I sort of have the feeling like the author is kind of rushing these books, because their stories are pretty basic and predictable. The wolves seem more human than wolf, thus not really making it feel like a “raised by wolves” story, like it’s intended to be. That brainy wolf Addison is so smart it’s actually kind of odd (because she does not seem like a wolf at all with that level of intelligence.) And some of the chapters seem to end at weird places. Like, every time Stacy sees something new, chapter ends. Dearest Stacy Hinojosa, please know that you should take your time writing these books and please don’t feel like you’re forced to publish them at a certain time.

So aside from the fact that this is the third book in a series and it's the first book I'm ever reading from this series, this was a really fun book. Stacy Plays, inspired by Minecraft, has this wonderful world where her wolves have powers, different biomes side by side are normal, and researchers are trying to tag all of the wolves... hers included.
This was short, fun, light, and beautiful. The art was so cool and the characters were amazing. I might go back and read the first two books because I had so much fun with this!

I've been engrossed in Stacy's writing since her first book, and I love seeing how the series has progressed over the past three years! While this book was below my reading level, I still immensely enjoyed the story and I can't wait to see what will become of Stacy and her wolves. This book was definitely a wild ride and I would 100% reccomend this series to anyone who loves animals and/or plays Minecraft. On the whole, congrats on your third book, Stacy!!

It was good but I just thought that it was very short and a little bit predictable in certain areas and just hoped for a little more from it. Good book though anyways and a fast read!

It's obvious this book isn't targeted to me but I really enjoyed it anyways. It's an amazing children's book that almost any child would find happiness through. I feel like I read this series because I already knew the characters from Dog Craft from years ago and I really wanted to know how Stacy would make it into a series. I am not disappointed at all! I also can't wait to read the final book of this series very soon.

Popsugar Reading Challenge 2022: A Book about a Secret. This whole series is about secrets and trying to uncover them while being rescuers ( with a bit of magic )!!!! I enjoy each book of this series and am so happy to learn from each one. These are definitely on my recommendations lists 🌟🌟🌟🌟

He rested his nose on Stacy’s shoulder and Stacy reached up to pet him. Tucker could always sense if she was upset or worried about something. And he could always make her feel better.

This quote sums up what I love about this series. It’s cozy, reassuring and heart-warming. The wolf pack, how they look after each other and go on their animal rescues, the mystical magical powers they are developing, the adventures and friendships. I was feeling quite anxious and not in the mood to read but reading aloud this story, snuggled up in bed, calmed me down. I love books that remind me why I love to read and should make the effort.

My least favourite thing in this one is the fish slander. “They didn’t hunt or eat any of the small animals that surrounded them in the taiga; Stacy kept them on a strict diet of fish”. The wolves don’t seem to worry about over-fishing and although the violence against other animals is kept to a minimum fish are not given the same treatment. “The fish flapped around wildly for a few seconds on the ice before lying still.” I know the wolves need to eat but I didn’t appreciate the “we only eat fish it’s fiiiine” vibes.

The other thing I would say is have the next book ready to go, as this one ends on a cliffhanger!

Wow, what a suspensful ending to this book!

I honestly think that this really competes with the first book as my favorite. There's so much more here than I thought there would be in this series, and I'm very interested in the direction it's going to go! It's also pretty cool that all 4 of Stacy's pets are here now!

Review from an 8 year old:
This time, Stacy and her wolves went on an adventure to the arctic. They found and old
wolf that was her wolf pack’s father. And they found runes on the ice spikes, telling the story of the wolves mom and dad. I liked the fox in the book. It was very playful and it stopped playing immediately when it wanted to show Stacy the ice spikes. The part that I don’t like about it: it was shorter than all the other ones.

A really good book

I love this book along with my daughter who is a subscriber of Stacy. I hope there is a fourth one because my daughter loves this series and so do I. I could go on and on about how much my daughter and I love this series and how much we hope and can’t wait for a new one, but I won’t keep you here reading this so have a good day/afternoon/evening/night.

This book is about a girl named Stacy who is in love with her pets. She goes on crazy expeditions to save all different kinds of animals. I enjoyed this book a lot! I would recommend reading the first and second books before this one. Overall, it is a great series and I'm looking forward to her coming out with more books like this.

I think this one was the most fun. I love the arctic and this took place in the arctic. It continued with Stacy and her wolves rescuing animals. They go on an expedition and Stacy tries to figure out why her wolves have powers. Some new characters joined Stacy and will hopefully be in the next one. This one ended in a cliff hanger and I just need to read more!

4 total stars, I'm 10. Made reviews on the other books in this series, but Stacy is a very good writer! It was very captivating and I felt like it wasn't too long (170ish pages) even though I normally read longer ones. Ages 6-12 I'd say.

To Mary, (spoilers I think?!)

The wolves are magical, of course Addison is intelligent.

Poor Pip! He’s gonna be okay thought right? Don’t write him off yet! Tucker too! So interesting about the elder wolves, learning where they get their powers from. Sad I only have one book left of this specific series, but then onto Rescue Tails!

The wolves discovered new powers and they found runes that there is an alphabet for and I already translated it so I now write in that language in my journal. Sad thing is that their father or something died, and now Tucker is sick.😭😭😭😭😭

Stacey is being raised by wolves. I did not realize that this is a series but luckily, I did not need to read the previous novels in order to understand this story. The wolves possess supernatural powers but it is not clear how they got them.

Another fun adventure this time to the tundra! We got to add Milquetoast and Pipsqueak to our expanding pack and we got to learn where the wolves special abilities came from.

My 12 yo daughter loved it, just as she did the previous books in the series. It is written well to the target audience. Quick easy light hearted with plenty of action for a jr fiction book

Pretty good 👍

I read the other two and I was trapped in the book. I ended up reading even when I had school work (was a problem). Keep it up!
