World building of times gone by...not exactly historical, but horses for transportation and no modern conveniences. Great stories with PNR, romance, and suspense a few of them could have expanded a bit more, but overall the box set was very enjoyable.

Oh, my! What a fantastic box set of 12 paranormal shifter romance novellas! There are actually 3 series included, with 4 books each. I've enjoyed a previous series by this author, but I hadn't read any from these series. These stories are different from your typical shifter romance ones in that there is a greater story arc that covers the entire mega-series, the classic fight between Good and Evil, Life and Destruction, and the imagined world (and its history and rules) is more complex than is typical. Even though each story is relatively short, the characters feel well developed and three dimensional. The heroes and heroines have undeniable chemistry. Some stories had a depth of emotion that I found surprising for both the subgenre and the length of the novella. I did think that the beginnings of some of them had a bit too much of an informational dump, but I tend to see that a lot in novellas, where authors seem to need to “get it all out there” so they can go on with the story they want to tell. I also thought that most of them did end a little too abruptly; again, this is something I feel like I often see in series, where the author doesn’t want to give away too much that might spoil the other books.
I did like how each of the three series that are included in this mega collection is based around the concept not only the animals—white tiger, jaguar, and panther—but also the idea that these animals represent in this world—guardian, champion, and assassin respectively. The magical women are paired with the type of hero that can best protect her and her magic. If you enjoy complex magical shifter romance, you may very well enjoy this well-written collection of series.

The country of Brigantia has one dangerous enemy, especially as they have spies and secret agents working for them in the country. They are called the UNWASHED: Too fight them, women with paranormal powers fight them where they can, protected by large cat shifters. There is a special affinity to what type of paranormal is attracted to what kind of cat. This boxed set tells the story of the 12 main couple and their actions in the fight against the UNWASHED:

Adventure, thrill, romance - the stories have it all.
For me this series is one of the best fantasy series I have read in a long time.

Rosaline thought about her calm and predictable life. But she started seeing things differently when Ignacio was around. He was the youngest of the assassins, but his skills were far beyond his years. He seemed lively, his emotions genuine, and he was more talkative and engaged when he was around Rosaline. She thought his assassin work would change him as it had others, but he was still eager to experience life with enthusiasm. He started to talk to her, but Darius, Orion and Ignacio had to leave, probably to discuss the mission, and Rosaline turned toward her chambers, wondering what their exchange was all about.
Rosaline was a priestess who, at her mother’s urging, had taken the vows that would prepare her for becoming a High Priestess. Yet it had not been HER dream, and she was still not sure it was the right path for her. When even Caspian, the assassin who had flirted or slept with almost every druid she knew, said it was the best path for her, it dashed her hopes for something else and she set her own doubts aside.
Letting her curiosity take over, Rosaline turned and followed the assassins, sitting outside near a window to listen in on their conversation. The emotionless Darius expressed concern and uncertainty about Ignacio going to Ishtar, feeling it would be dangerous even if the more experienced Orion went. Most knew that the dangerous Unwashed had taken over in Ishtar, since the majority of the seers in the last few years were either being influenced by the Unwashed or were completely under their control. The Unwashed were trying to destroy all magic users and had done horrible things to them. Rosaline feared for Ignacio’s inexperience if sent there alone; but Orion, his mentor, seemed confident in him and Darius accepted that judgment. They needed to convince Dulce to get out of there. It was becoming too dangerous. Ignacio’s instincts were calling him to go there, even if he wasn’t aware of the whole situation.
As the Unwashed continue trying to destroy the magic users, Rosaline and Ignacio are drawn into the fight against them and find themselves drawn closer to each other. Ignacio will protect her fiercely. There is wonderful chemistry building between them as they realize what they mean to each other. Will they survive the battle and get the chance to explore this new relationship?

Itzel is a Druid who felt that by avoiding the mystics, it would only put druids and assassins in greater danger, so she had decided to go as a representative to negotiate with the Mystic Queen Freya. She knew that they needed to take risks to join with the only people who could help them fight against the powerful cult movement known as the Unwashed. Darius, her current traveling companion and a skilled albino Assassin, had immediately insisted on coming along with her and she still was not sure why he would go so far from home and against his better judgment.
Itzel ultimately thought that Freya was acting childishly when she hurried away from Itzel and Haiden. Now it was up to Hector to reach her. When Haiden and Itzel sat at a small table café discussing the status of things, Darius showed up announcing that he and Itzel had to leave. It looked like he had stirred up the Unwashed somehow and a number of them could be seen on the opposite shore, preparing to cross the bay and head to the capital. As Darius and Itzel stopped in the woods so he could hide his disguise, they made a wager with each other that surprised each of them. Itzel, if she won, wanted to see him smile at her daily, when no one else was around, for 100 years. That guaranteed that she too would be smiling every day. If Darius won, he wanted to go out on another outside mission with her because, even when they disagreed, their discussions were productive – and he enjoyed her company. When he shook her hand, she continued to hold it, thinking about him and what he meant – until she became aware he was inches away from her face, with an odd look, and asking if she was okay.
Darius told Itzel about the plans of the Unwashed. They needed to defeat them before they snatched the queen away. Would this all unfold as Darius believed it would? Would Hector do his part in handling the corrupted Council betrayers and protecting Queen Freya? And would Itzel find the love of her life in a very shocking way?
I love this series. The characters are complex and pull the reader into the story as they come alive on the pages! The story lines are always very good, and the reader will eagerly want to dive into the rest of these terrific books!

Great Fantasy Romance
This a great story told by a very good writer. I would give it 5 stars but for a few grammar errors. It was difficult to keep up with all the characters but after I started a list of who was with who, it was easier. Each story is part of the series but gives the reader a complete view of each of the couples. For mature readers but not too explicit.

Awesome read
Being able to read the entire series at once was incredible. The characters are revisited in each series, so you get to find out what happens with everyone. Money well spent.

It's an interesting story for sure.

Rosaline has always followed the path of becoming a high priestess of the druids. Her Assassin, Ignacio, is the youngest of his profession but has skills far beyond his years. As they follow a mission against the "Unwashed" Rosaline and Ignacio will not only share their skills with each other, but realize what they actually want in love for themselves and each other. A great addition to a wonderful series.

12 - Heaven’s Assassin
Each of these are listed and can be read as standalone stories and they would work perfectly that way. But truly, if you want the whole experience, read them together and get the full impact as the author's words flow and you follow these characters through a world created by Lisa Daniels that will keep you enchanted and entertained. A twelve book set for the Shifters of Brigantia series a well written set that once I started I did not want to put down. This Box Set from White Tigers of Brigantia, Jaguars of Brigantia, and Panthers of Brigantia Includes=Callie’s Guardian, Iris’s Guardian, Alexis’s Guardian, Freya’s Guardian in the Guardian series. Then in the Champion series there is =Dulce’s Champion, Precious’s Champion, Harmony’s Champion, Miracle’s Champion. Then in the Assassin series there is= Itzel’s Assassin,

Shifters of Brigantia by Lisa Daniels is a 12 book box set that includes: four books from the White Tigers of Brigantia, four books from the Jaguars of Brigantia, and the four books from the Panthers of Brigantia. This book explores an interesting world with amazing shifters that will make your heart beat faster while reading this boxset. These stories kept me up late into the night because I could not stop reading. I was so hooked that I didn’t even realize how much time had passed. If you love new worlds, great characters, and sensual romance than you will love this boxset as much as I did! Shifters of Brigantia is an amazing read!

It was a long read to find out if Brigantia was going to break free from the Unwashed. This small world was pretty interesting. It had Seers, Mystics, Druids, and shape shifters. Each with their own magical abilities.
As you read each book you get a little bit more of the story from different individuals with their point of view. Sometimes the stories overlap. Each story somehow revolves around an assassin named Caspian and a druid named Heaven.
The story was very long but I enjoyed reading it.

Shifters of Brigantia is a twelve book box set of complicated and interesting characters. The books are all well written and entertaining with storylines that pulled me into them. This box set is filled with shifters, seers, the unwashed, druids, guardians, assassins and so many more intriguing characters. Great box set! I originally got this box set as an arc but I loved it so much I purchased it.

Shifters of Brigantia is a 12 book box set full of the most interesting characters imaginable!
The characters are strong and complicated, they are loyal to the point they put themselves in danger to protect.
The storyline is so believable, you just think you are part of the storyline.. I just loved them, but then again I’m a paranormal fan! Great read!

Action packed, smoking hot sexy, emotionally thrilling set of twelve shifters and their heart pounding adventures.... loved reading each and every one of them! Could not put this one down from beginning to end even though I have read a few of them before. Excellent reading for a long relaxing weekend.

This book w as a bunch of gobbli gook .would start a page ,then I in a few words start again ..my read speed is about 2300 wpm I got so confused I would start skipping pages ,toward the last I was skipping chapters. I have gone threw my kindal and eliminated all work by this author.

Definitely awesome
These books flow effortlessly from one to the other. It is good to see there is a good ending. The relationships are interconnected. The only reason it did not get five stars is because Heaven just came out of nowhere. Not much is told about her and I would have liked a little more background on her and her sister.

This boxset will keep you reading for hours. We have so much going on, suspense, action, love, and more. With a lot of our supernatural. You will love all the characters.

A awesome box set of cat shape shifters. You will not put this down for sure. The stories flowed well, strong likeable characters, and steamy hot chemistry. A must read for sure.

Couldn't put it down!
I would recommend this book to everyone! It took a few chapters and then I was just enthralled. I read for two days straight . I mean No house cleaning ignored the fam enthralled!

Pretty good read for a series wish it didn't jump from one champion to another so quickly tho it was hard to keep up with the characters but otherwise good
Disliked the characters shifting so fast and the seers that had diff. Powers could be confusing as well but still interesting

Finding their mates
Lovely set of books and it is far better to read the whole set as each book relates to the next. I would highly recommend these books to all who love great exciting romantic stories.

Great writing but abrupt ending
I loved that the storyline was about an entirely new world with different types of characters. However, I find it stopped very abruptly with no concluding writeup.

IT his is the first time that I am reading Lisa Daniels books and I couldn't stop reading them. I was never bored but always anxious to see what was going to happen next.

This was a fantastic box set. Each story links to the next and introduces so many characters who all find love in the end. It is interesting the number of different challenges that they must make it through in order for all to survive and find happiness.
