What better way to bond with a little one than to cuddle up with a blanket and a book? Michelle Medlock Adams’ new rhyming board book “Cuddle-Up Prayers” provides a perfect opportunity to strengthen that bond! Filled with animal images from koalas and frogs to squirrels and puppy dogs, this adorable prayer book will appeal to everyone ages zero to one hundred. The expressive faces of raccoons, rabbits, beavers, and birds (captured by illustrator Mernie Gallagher-Cole) reassure children that others understand their feelings of fear, jealousy, and shyness. The author’s simple prayers of praise and thanks to God can be read from cover to cover or selected for a particular need like being afraid of the dark. This book is a sweet collection of communications between God and His children. Cuddle up and enjoy the read!

"Cuddle-Up Prayers" is such a sweet and loving book! As my hubby and I sat with the grandbabies on our laps, our oldest picked it up and looking at me said, "Nana, this cute book is full of bedtime prayers about emotions!" She contined "We can pray each day for however we are feeling that day!" Straight from the mouth of babes! A very soft touch bound delightful inspiring book based on many different ranges of emotions with a rhyming prayers applied to each God inspired! Adorable pictures my 5 year old engaged in naming to me! Love the love letter also! This is a great book for all ages from the small to the tall this book will be enjoyed by all! A must have for your library! A+

You'll want to read this adorable board book with your little ones throughout the day. The cute animal artwork is sure to capture the hearts of children. The padded covers are ideal for cuddle-up time. Poetic prayers throughout the book relate to the daily life of young readers in a fun and reassuring way. The prayers encourage our precious, little ones to be grateful, pray for others, and to trust that our Heavenly Father cares and is always there to hear and answer our prayers. I can't wait to share this book with my little grandson.

I excepted to open a book and read prayers for children, and yes that’s what is in the book Cuddle-Up Prayers, but this book is so much more than a children’s book.

The book is full of prayers that adults can pray. I intended to give my copy away, but I’m keeping this one for my nightstand and will buy 10 to giveaway as baby shower gifts and to friends with children.

I love how there are prayers for every situation. When I’m sad, happy, grateful and when I need to say I’m sorry.

Michelle’s children’s books never disappoint!

“Cuddle-Up Prayers” is a lovable and unique book. Special rhyming prayers give children words to say to God when they might not know what to say on their own. There are prayers of gratitude and praise and prayers that work through feelings like jealousy, sadness, and fear. There are night prayers and morning prayers and at the very end of the book there is a love letter from God. The illustrations are adorable and the special child in your life will love looking at the cute animals while cuddling up and reading these special prayers.

This book does not disappoint! A great gift to help those little ones start their collection. This author is one of my favorites for tayloring special stories towards early Christian development. The prayers go well with the beautiful illustrations of animals. Children can easily connect the animal illustrations with their favorite prayers. My grandsons are pulling this book off of their shelf every evening asking if it is time to "cuddle up and say our prayers". I can't think of anything better.

This board book with a padded cover is a sweet collection of prayers-in-rhyme that you can use to read to your young child at bedtime. For me, they were too long and with topics irrelevant to (outside the experience of) toddlers and preschoolers (I've returned the book to the library, so I can't tell you exactly which ones didn't work).
It might work better if you read this book from when your child is a baby and can't move or really understand what you're saying. By the time they do, they'll be familiar with the work and will be more engaged.

This book may be a Children's book, but it is good for all ages. We are all God's children. I read it with both my 2 year old and 11 year old and both enjoyed it. I also could relate to each prayer and it reminded me that I need to pray more each day myself! I love all of Michelle's books I have read. The kids loved the pictures too!!

Such a sweet little book for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Even my seven-year-old loved reading the relatable prayers for her age group. The illustrations are precious, and the prayers had a nice smooth flow.
