He doesn't trust Darren, not in the least. Worse, Lenox feels like scum because he really doesn't want his family found. Not when he has an evil mother and a douche bag brother. Being away from them has given Lenox a sense of peace he's never felt before. As Lenox and Darren grow closer, there is an enemy out there determined to end them. They have to find out who the guy is before he hits his mark.

This was fantastic. The two main characters worked very well together and the secondary characters were totally amusing, especially Moose. I hope that he gets a story soon. The plot had me drawn in from beginning to end. I love this series and I just loved this book. It was filled with danger, passion, and action. Simply marvelous. =)

Thoroughly enjoyed! This was a nice, fairly quick read. I like that the author is expanding on debunking some of the preconceived notions about various “other” groups, like demons.

So this was good up until the end. It felt like there were supposed to be more scenes but they were cut out.

There was an entire thing regarding the main characters that was skipped over at the end. What the hell happened to Lenox when he passed out and did Darren put two and two together about "feeling" him pass out? Things like this about the primary couple are not usually brought up in the next book so this was a complete "WTF".

The other oversight was Copache's reaction to the shifters and demons. I guess this could be covered in the first Maple Grove book, but some bit of acknowledgement would've been nice.

The shenanigans are still going strong, the demon who was forced to steal 2 million in one of the previous books is back, his mate is sent to find him and together they help clear his name

Wonderful book

I chose this rating because it was worth it I would recommend this book to everyone I loved this book
